The pictures of this place do not do it justice! Its spacious and has 2 balconies with full ocean views. Its a lovely place and an excellent location. We would definitely come back.

The condo is beautiful and located within the resort in a perfect location. The codes to unlock the door and the pool access were texted to me, so I never needed to interact with the host. It was a great location on the island (quieter than over by the pier) which we preferred. We loved the pool, the Deck Beach restaurant on site, and the easy access to the elevator and the pool and the beach and.....great place to stay even if it is on the expensive side. We hope to stay again next year only longer.

Great view of the beach on the first floor. It was comfortable and well appointed except no beach chairs included. The toiletries and toilet paper is much to be desired, very poor quality so bring your own.

Our first time in the area and we are glad we picked Beachside Colony Resort. Liked having The Deck restaurant right on site the first night we arrived from Atlanta. Seemed like this was the "quite" end of the island which was perfect for us. Of course it was off season so all the island was a little quiet! Easy to get to and from Savannah as well. The condo had plenty of space for our family of four to enjoy.

Week on Tybee Island

My family had an excellent time at Tybee Island. This was our first time visiting, and certainly won’t be our last. The Beachside Colony is maintained very well, and feels safe and private. We loved the beach, both pools, and on site restaurant very much.

Adorable condo right on the beach

Check in process was very smooth and quick responses from the property manager. Condo was adorable and clean. View right on the beach was phenomenal. Restaurant at the pool had amazing food and view.

Wonderful stay on Tybee Island

We enjoyed our stay with family on Tybee Island. This location was the perfect spot with a beautiful ocean view and an easy walk to the pool or beach. The unit was clean and comfortable and located close to some nice restaurants. We were easily able to visit Savannah by day and relax on Tybee Island in the afternoons and evenings. We highly recommend!

I chose this neighborhood because it’s home. I moved to Tybee Island in 1978 and have been part of Beachside Colony since its construction in 2000. Over the years, I’ve watched this community grow while still maintaining the relaxed, family-friendly feel that makes Tybee special. Guests love this location for its direct beach access, walkability, and central mid-island setting that makes getting anywhere on Tybee easy. In addition to managing condos here, I’m also an owner at Beachside Colony, which means I care for this property the same way I care for my own. The location offers the best of the island—easy beach access, a true resort atmosphere, and a place I’m proud to share with guests.
