Great little basement apartment. Perfect for a small family. Conveniently located across the street from the shuttle pickup which made getting around the island super easy. The queen bed wasn’t very comfortable but outside of that, everything was perfect.

This place was a great place for us to stay. The bus to town is right across the street. The room was spacious especially for relaxing at night. I do just have to say that if you are light sleeper you may want to pick the upstairs rental. With the ceiling not being insulated you are able to hear everything upstairs. The host was beyond accommodating to all our needs. Her dad, upstairs is the nicest guy ever. We had a great time in Nantucket. The location is great because it is not far from The Chicken box or the Stop and Shop and the amazing bakery with warm buns. We got some every day. Over all it was a great place to stay.

This was a wonderful space for our family visit to Nantucket. The owner was helpful and kind. We appreciate the hospitality. It is a great location for access to Town and Sconset. The outdoor shower was a terrific bonus feature. There were stairs (the space is on the basement level of the multi-apartment property) that are somewhat challenging for people with disabilities (like one of the people traveling in our family). Having access to a more private outdoor seating area would have been another upgrade. Otherwise, the space was lovely and accommodating. Very clean with a great location.

Great Stay

Our in laws had a wonderful stay in Jais’s place! It was clean and comfortable, had ample parking and was in a great location. Communication was terrific!!! We highly recommend!

The Best Spot on Nantucket!!!

My girl friends and I have been coming out to Nantucket for a long weekend for years now and this was by far the best place we’ve ever stayed!! Jais was wonderful to rent from and the on-property manager Charles (and Honey) was an absolutely delight!! We can’t wait to come back next year, 10/10 could not recommend enough!!!

We had a fantastic stay at this rental! Charles, the owner, was incredibly welcoming—and meeting his sweet puppy Honey was a bonus highlight. The location was ideal, with easy access to the Nantucket Wave bus system, which made getting around the island a breeze. Inside, the home has a unique industrial-nautical charm that’s both stylish and cozy—thoughtfully designed with lots of character. It was a great experience from start to finish, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

Nantucket stay

This was our first time visiting the island. We had a great time! The host was very friendly and has a very friendly dog. This downstairs apartment is part of a multi-unit house located in a quiet neighborhood and very centrally located.

Nice Spot

We had family on island for the weekend and this was our overflow house for the young adults. Its nicely appointed albeit somewhat far from town. Jais and the on property owner are wonderful and easy to work with. Definitely look at this property if you are staying in Nantucket.

Excellent stay at a rustic Nantucket apartment

We were very satisfied with our stay from start to finish. Jais was easy to communicate with and very attentive. Charles, the property manager, was a joy and helped us with anything we needed. Will definitely stay with these hosts again in the future. Thank you!!

We had an amazing stay while visiting Nantucket for the 1st time! This property is located in a great location - and the bus stop was across the street! The grocery store was only a few blocks away so we also walked there. The property itself was very comfortable, and the host was delightful to chat with. Any concerns we had were addressed immediately. We felt very safe and I would definitely stay here again if I ever get another chance to visit Nantucket.

As expected

We stayed for a long weekend, a group in our mid-30s, and overall the experience was as expected based on the listing and photos.It was relatively clean, though we did notice a fair amount of cobwebs throughout. Also worth noting: the owner lives on-site and did ask us to keep the noise down on Friday evening, so this may be something to keep in mind if your group plans to be social. Sound insulation is also limited—you can hear everything from upstairs, with noise typically starting around 7am.it suited us fine for a short weekend getaway. Just a few things to be aware of depending on your preferences.

Good choice! We’d go back!

Pros: bus stop directly across the street was a huge plus and it is free through 2025. Renovation of basement (and it was bright inspite of lower level location) done very well and decor was locally specific which we loved! Lots of books, comfy beds, hot water in the shower even with three people taking showers in a row. TV worked flawlessly. Temps in unit were perfect throughout the stay. Plenty of blankets for the beds. Cons: a bit musty yet owners did well to have a dehumidifier in the unit. Lots of cobwebs in corners. Had to clean coffee pot before using—there is no dishwasher. Need mirror in bedroom!! You can hear the people living upstairs walking around, sneezing, using the water.

I am deeply disappointed with my stay at this property. This space is an unfinished basement that is absolutely not rental-ready, and the host Jias's response to my concerns was entirely dismissive.Major Issues with the Property:Unfinished & Exposed Structure: There is no ceiling. The wide-open floor beams, studs, nails, wiring, and plumbing are completely exposed. Because it is completely unfinished, insulation was actively falling out of the ceiling and landing directly onto my bed sheets.Severe Cleanliness & Cobwebs: There are literally cobwebs covering the entirety of the exposed basement ceiling and walls. It looks like years of accumulated dust and filth. I literally wrote my name in the thick dust on the tv stand furniture. It is a severe hazard for anyone with allergies.Safety Hazards: Access to the unit requires navigating a long, steep, and wet wooden staircase, which may be dangerous. Inside, a cut-off chimney sits directly over the couch, actively dripping soot onto the living area.Substandard Furnishings: The property features a filthy, industrial-looking sink that belongs in a commercial basement, not a vacation rental, alongside cheap, dorm-style furnishings.Noise: The noise from upstairs is unbearable. At 6:00 AM, loud footsteps and running around woke me up immediately.When I reached out to the host with photo evidence, I was met with dismissive, canned responses ("I hear your concerns," "I understand") without resolution
