We couldn't have been happier! This spacious, and beautiful place inside and out fit our vacation needs perfectly. Clean, comfortable and situated close to so many day trip choices. The pool and the grounds are lovely. We had a wonderful stay.

The villa outside Gambassi Terme was the perfect getaway and base in Tuscany for my fiance and me. The house is remote and nestled among several other rentals that all share the pool. We enjoyed the views of Volterra and the tweets of the birds each morning and the sunset by the pool each night. The kitchen was well stocked and Marco gave us recommendations for nearby restaurants to try.The location is great for day trips to San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Florence, and so many other small medieval towns, farms, and swimming spots.The AC worked well during the hot days, but it was often nicer to open the windows at night for the breeze. We would definitely return and recommend this place to others!

Heaven in Tuscany

Absolutely loved our stay here. The place was perfect with lots of lovely sitting areas outdoors, beautiful views over the Tuscan hills and a gorgeous pool area. Close to lots of amazing Tuscan villages full of gorgeous food and restaurants! Will be hoping to come back one day soon!

Beautiful

Exactly what I wanted. Fabulous views. Great location in the Tuscan hills with plenty of top notch restaurant choices and wineries to enjoy. But this property's best use is simply to relax. It's so peaceful.

Under rated gem of Tuscany - Highly Recommend

The listing doesn't do this place justice, it has an outstanding view of the beautiful Italian landscape. The property has a nice calm and relaxing area and all the ammonites that one can wish for. Friendly area, great location if you want to see some authentic sights of Italy (San Gimignano and Volterra to name a couple) but also if you want to lounge by a pool to unwind and decompress. The owner was always in contact when needed and gave clear instructions.

Amazing place to experience Tuscan country

This is a unit within a small townhouse complex in the heart of Tuscany. It has a gorgeous shared infinity pool overlooking Tuscany and the unit is clean with a full kitchen and two bedrooms and bathrooms. The buildings themselves are all made of stone - quite beautiful and fit with the Tuscan scene. Gordon his property manager are helpful, communicate promptly and are very nice.

Our stay

Amazing apartment and environment. Well equiped and cozy. A bit crowded in the pool area but manageable. Do note that you need to drive 20 min to stores but restaurants pops up in the middle of nowhere to be explored. Winetasting was a success from our side. A really good place if you just want to relax but also close to cities like Siena and Florens. We webt to Siena which was amazing. 1hour drive to the sea is recommended.(Cesina)

High expectations did not disappoint!

Tuscany and accommodations were as beautiful as imagined. Our flight was late getting in so we arrived late and in the dark. Difficult to find but once I called Gordon he helped us. Gordon was very responsive to any questions we had. The internet was hit and miss but other than that it was perfect!

Perfection

This rental was everything we hoped for for our trip to Tuscany. The location was perfect for all of our day trips. Gordon and Marco were very kind and responsive to our messages. We had an unexpected delay due to a train strike and Marco worked with us for a seamless check-in. My husband kept saying that the pictures didn't do the rental justice, it really exceeded our expectations. The pool was a nice treat after a long day in the heat (note we should have brought our own pool towels as stated in the rental contract). For future renters, I'd suggest arriving with your own hand soap and paper products for the washrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking.

Excellent rental, great value

We stayed with our teenage daughter in late June. This place was just as listed. Super clean, with high-end finishes and lovely views from every room. The apartment is spacious, with two full bathrooms and a large kitchen. AC worked well. We LOVED the pool area and the amazing view from the pool. There were a few families at the pool at most and the size was just about big enough for short laps. Very convenient to Florence, Sienna and Lucca, though the immediate area was a bit isolated with poor cellular reception and no stores. (There is a farm up the road where you can buy excellent olive oil, eggs etc.) The wifi in the house was also a bit spotty and combined with poor cell reception in the area it sometimes took a few extra minutes to plan our day. Beds were hard but not a dealbreaker. Overall it one of the best places I have ever rented, excellent value. Highly recommend!

I'm not sure we all--we were two couples--had an exact sense of the complex, though the nature of it is definitely implied by the long Vrbo description: a restored, historic borough (mentioned, we learned, in some document, perhaps a map, at the Vatican) and on an unpaved road, which is always in need of grading, that was once a "salt road"--a renovated series of stone and brick buildings consisting of apartments with an international ownership. It's very secluded, with lovely views of the countryside, and quiet. There's a nice swimming pool close by. You can unload and load your car at the property; otherwise, you park in a lot a short distance away. The accommodation itself is self-catering, of course, with whatever provisions are there (including toilet paper) depending on the generosity of the preceding occupants. There are two types of coffee makers in addition to a kettle. I mention these items as they were the most immediately essential to me. As I said, we were four adults (late 60s-early 70s)--the apartment was perfectly adequate for our week-long stay; it was comfortably furnished. Gordon was very helpful beforehand, promptly answering questions about provisions and recommending grocery stores and a nearby restaurant for our first night's dinner. He also graciously put us in touch with another owner whose time there was coinciding with ours. Really, I don't know how things could have been better.

Eine sehr schöne Anlage, alt und modern zugleich. Eine außergewöhnlich schöne Poolanlage.Schön außerhalb und deshalb sehr ruhig. Autos müssen außerhalb parken, aber Anfahrt möglich für Koffer aus-/einladen etc.Mehrere Wohneinheiten, welche aber separat für sich stehen. Man kann sehr für sich alleine sein. Außer am Pool.

Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war von Anfang sehr angenehm und freundlich. Auch der Empfang vor Ort vom Verwalter Marco war sehr freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit.Die Wohnung und das ganze Feriendorf Borgo Mommiala sind sehr schön. Der Pool ist klasse, nicht überlaufen, sehr modern mit toller Aussicht über die Toskana, Die Wohnung ist komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts.Die Lage ist sehr zentral, mitten in der Toskana. San Gimigiano liegt um die Ecke, Volterra, Siena und Florenz sind gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Fazit: Super Wohnung in toller Lage, top Vermieter und perfekte Betreuung durch den Verwalter vor Ort. Alle sind sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und bemüht dem Gast ein super Urlaubserlebnis zu ermöglichen. Es gibt viele nützliche Informationen, eine präzise Anfangsbeschreibung und eine perfekte Einweisung vor Ort.Die Wohnung kann man uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Alles super!!!

Man muss sich im Klaren sein, dass diese Unterkunft sehr weit "vom Schuss" ist. Sie liegt sehr abgeschieden, sie ist nur über eine einige Kilometer lange Schotterpiste zu erreichen. Das Borgo selbst ist sehr idyllisch. Die Ferienwohnung insgesamt ist etwas düster. Küche top, Highlight ist der Gemeinschaftspool des Borgos.

Tolle Ferienwohnung in zauberhafter Umgebung

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in der FeWo. Er war genau wie beschrieben und der Pool war ebenfalls genau wie beschrieben. In der Nähe sind viele sehenswerte Orte und es gibt tolle Restaurants und Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen. Man kann einen ruhigen Urlaub dort verbringen oder viel in der Region unternehmen. Es war sehr schön.

Sehr schöne ruhige, etwas abgelegene Unterkunft. Pool war auch sehr schön, leider nicht direkt am Haus. Was fehlte waren gemütliche Gartenmöbel. Vorhanden war ein kleiner runder Tisch und harte Stahlstühle. Negativ empfanden wir das die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit mindestens eine halbe Stunde Autofahrt entfernt war. Der Weg zur Unterkunft war ca. 1,7 km lang und nur über eine Schotterstrecke mit reichlich breiten und tiefen Löchern erreichbar. Bei Nacht würde ich die Strecke nicht befahren.
