When entering no light switches worked, had to have maintenance fix kitchen light to turn on. Horrible smell coming from garbage disposal which didn’t work, went to load dishwasher already full from previous renters. Unit was not clean. Vent in family room look like black mold.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently stayed for 6 nights. Check in was a breeze. The unit is very spacious but needs a serious update. The furniture on the deck that faces the pool needs more sturdy furniture. They were made of cheap plastic and one chair had a cracked leg. I am curious why there are light switches on the wall in the bedrooms for an overhead light/fan, but no over head lights. My son was awakened by ants on him and in the bed. Maintenance came quickly with a bottle of Home Defence and sprayed and left the bottle. Good thing because we had ants show up in the master bedroom. I pulled the night stand out from the wall and it was very dirty behind there. It was a very convenient location and just a short drive to the boardwalk. While we could see the ocean, we could not see the beach from the unit because of the dunes. There are about 10 steps up to the door of the unit so if you have bad knees or are handicapped it would be a problem.I probably would not stay in this unit again.

Love the location and size of this property. The beach was never crowded, even though it was a busy time of year. The only downside was that the air conditioner never dropped below 74 degrees. It was comfortable for the most part but we all would have slept better if it were a little cooler. Ceiling fans would be a nice upgrade!This is a roomy, comfortable condo. Our family of 7 had plenty of space.

Great Spot For Any Beach Lover

We enjoyed the location and size of the apartment. Right on the beach (Gulf) and the pool was a bonus. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay again!

Suggestions

Property needs a deep clean— vents, baseboards etc. Vertical blinds in one bedroom are broken and rigged by using broken verticals upside down to repair.Keyless entry would be so much more efficient.3 almost full TP rolls and1 roll of paper towel barely got us started. Also 2 dishwasher pods wasnt near enough

We love starboard

The starboard village is a nice place to stay. We love the location. The condos are so convenient to the beach and not a far drive from the boardwalk.We will definitely continue to try to stay at starboard in the future. We have stayed there in the past. I was disappointed with check-in process that we had to pick up a key, which was in our envelope. The envelope did not contain our parking pass. So we did have to message about getting one of those so that we didn’t get towed. We were told that they would drop one off the next day, but they didn’t and we had to ask again when they would drop this off. They made it sound like it wasn’t a huge deal at this time of year, however, that didn’t make us feel any less comfortable about our vehicle, possibly being towed. We did inquire about early access, which is of course not guaranteed but was told that we could get in early, then because the guests were staying longer that changed, which is understandable. We were then told that we would be still allowed to get in a little early and that we would be notified when this would be accessible, but was not notified at all once the cleaning crew finally left. Overall, the facility was nice, I have stayed in other condos at starboard where they have had beach chairs, etc., for you to use on the beach and this one did not. We had to rent from a third-party for the week. So that was an additional cost. These are things I will look at in the future when returning.

Every thing was as advertised. The beach was awesome and the views were amazing. Lots to do and tons of restaurants. We will definitely return.

611 Starboard Pensacola Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family stayed Thanksgiving week and had a wonderful experience. I do want to mention there is no elevator, so be prepared to climb stairs to enter the condo, and to go to the pool and beach. The beach is close and easy access. This condo is nicely situated for viewing the ocean or pool. The sunrises and sunsets are beautiful, the sand is white as snow and the water is beautiful shades of blue and greens. There are lots of shells on the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. The twin mattresses leave something to be desired, very uncomfortable. When driving to the condo be sure to use the toll bridge to save approx. 45 minutes, so change your settings to accept toll routes. We were short a couple bath towels and wash clothes and Pensacola Beach Rentals was quick to correct the issue. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Great location with easy beach access

Overall a very pleasant trip. HOA is very strict and watch the kids very closely to make sure they follow all rules. If you family is like mine and like hearding cats you might have complaints.

Accommodating, Comfortable, Location & Great Staff!

Instructions when we arrived were clear & simple. Liked the fact we had a garage and parking space. Appreciated the large supple of dishes, kitchen utensils (& coffee filters), plenty of bathroom towels, extra garbage bags, etc…I love being able to do multiple loads of wash throughout the week… This was a comfortable condo! Master bedroom was huge, bed was very comfortable! Very spacious & family could retreat to their own spaces! Furniture was comfortable & clean. Location was perfect! Your decks overlook the waves!(bottom level doesn’t get the full effect because of the sand dunes but, we could still see the ocean and waves) It was an easy walk to the beach. You are far enough away from the boardwalk but, close enough to walk if desired! Great staff! Communicated well, responded to requests. The maintenance gentleman seemed to give his whole heart to making the facility as comfortable as possible! Customer service is a lost art these days, however, this rental has mastered it….so thankful for the opportunity to have stayed here!
