Welcome to River Bend, the perfect vacation rental near Great Sacandaga Lake! Our cozy private cabin is nestled in the rolling foothills of the Adirondack Mountains and is sure to be a beautiful spot to make memories. Enjoy the peaceful sounds of Beecher Creek as it moves through the pines that surround the cabin. Enjoy life on the covered porch and enjoy all 4 seasons from the relaxing hot tub.

Great Sacandaga Lake is one of the largest and most beautiful lakes in New York. Take a day off and head out for a scenic drive as the road hugs the turns around the many cabins that dot the shoreline of Great Sacandaga. While at the cabin, sit back, close your eyes and listen to Beecher Creek as it winds itself past the cabin on three sides.

For your security and ours, we do have one security camera by the front door - this camera covers the front driveway, front door and some of the front yard. There are no other cameras on the property.

In winter- you will need four wheel drive. The driveway is plowed and sanded however some hills are icy.

Five stars. We had a wonderful 3-night, 4-day stay in Northville, NY. The cabin was clean, cozy, and charming, perfectly situated right on the creek so you could hear running water from anywhere outside. We loved the hot tub and relaxed on the porch swing every chance we had. Erin and Ryan were easy to reach, communicated clearly, and the checkout process was minimal and simple. Highly recommend; we already want to go back!

My husband and I enjoyed are stay at River Bend. The cabin was clean, private yet close to grocery store and local restaurants. Erin/Ryan were awesome hosts. Thanks for everything. Would definitely stay again, when back in the area.

This was just what we needed, a break from it all. The place was perfect, so peaceful. The hot tub was amazing, loved the porch swing.The check-in and out process was seamless, hosts were great! Couldn’t have asked for me!

Beautiful serene location, adorable and clean cabin!

We stayed at the River Bend cabin for a few days at the end of summer to visit with friends who have a house on Lake Sacandaga. The cabin was PERFECT for us! It has a large property that sits back from the road and is pretty secluded with the creek winding around 3 sides of the house. Plenty of woods surrounding the property as well. We enjoyed the fire pit out back and the hot tub on the porch. My daughter (10) loved the loft where she slept on a blow up bed that we brought from home. The cabin is minutes from town, the lake and restaurants, walking distance to cute ice cream establishment (great for the teens to walk to!). Very clean and well stocked with everything you would need for your stay! Thank you for a great trip, we hope to return one day!

Honeymoon Dream Getaway

The cabin is really nice and cozy! Feels like a home away from home and is located really close around the town and lake attractions. My wife and I loved how homey and nice Northville is and how much there is to do while out and about in the town.

Super clean, secluded - just wonderful!

My husband and I stayed (4) nights for our anniversary. We love quiet, secluded places surrounded with nature and Ryan and Erin's place delivered perfectly on all counts. Other reviews mention the great level of cleanliness which always captures my attention. And our experience was the same high quality, everything was sparkling clean. And, I really appreciated the brand new kitchen sponge provided, small yet really a big thing as you often are left an old, creepy looking one to use. Very big TV in both LR and Bedrm, great HD picture quality. LR sofa was super comfy and bed was too. Gas fire place is a nice, cozy touch. Hot tub is only 3 or 4 steps from the door which was so convenient. Porch roof provides plenty of shelter from the rain. Twinkle lights are a great touch. Hot tub was very clean, well maintained. After the jets cycled off we would linger and just enjoy the warmth with the sound of the creek. Loved swinging on the porch swing, listening to the babbling creek. The nite sky by the fire pit was perfect for star gazing. Kitchen is well equipped, we grilled / cooked every day and had all we needed. We did not venture out so can't comment on the surrounding areas, but the welcome book is well put together with plenty of local eats, things to see / do. You can't go wrong in the Adirondacks, such an awesome area. Communication with hosts was very easy. Would definitely recommend booking here if you love nature, peace and quiet, you will be thrilled!

Perfect tranquility

Ryan and Erin have created the perfect getaway for couples or families. This cabin is even better than in the photos: the babbling creek actually surrounds the property, giving added privacy, and you can enjoy from the covered hot tub, from the porch swing, or while sitting around the fire pit. We were pleasantly surprised that the creek is even closer to the cabin than we expected. If we could give more than 5 stars for cleanliness, we would, and they seem to have thought of everything you could want to make your stay complete. Northville, a few minutes away, is a lovely spot to spend the day -- IF you want to leave the peace and tranqulity of the cabin at all. On our way out of town, we visited the covered bridge located only 5 minutes away. What a lovely retreat. For us, this was a much-needed couple weekend, and exactly what we'd hoped for. We will definitely return, hopefully for longer next time.

River bend

We loved our stay at this cottage. Very clean. Comfortable furniture and beds. Close to the lake and shopping/restaurants but a very private and quiet location on a little creek. Hot tub is a big plus. We plan on returning (hopefully next year for a longer stay).
