This property is a duplex-style home with an upper and lower level. While this is noted in the listing, we understand the importance of clear and prominent communication, and we’ll be updating the listing to better reflect this detail for future guests. Both levels have private entrances, and the lower unit is occasionally used by family members of the owner. While the garage door connecting the spaces does not currently lock, we are actively working on a solution to improve guest privacy and peace of mind. We also want to reassure future guests that concerns about odor, furnishings, or maintenance are taken seriously. Our team has addressed the issues mentioned, and it's worth noting that a previous guest who stayed in both the upper and lower levels of Llyn Blaen did not report any of these concerns. That said, we value every piece of feedback and strive to make each stay as comfortable as possible. While this experience was not what you expected, we were glad to be able to quickly relocate you to another home—Wild Peace. While it’s not located at Lake Junaluska, it is a guest favorite for its peaceful setting and thoughtful design. We hope it provided a more enjoyable rest of your visit.
