Mountain view cabin created for memories; centrally located near tubing, hiking, gem mining. Just minutes to downtown Blue Ridge for dining, shopping and more. Game room designed to keep young and old entertained or lounge and watch a movie on 65” smart tv. Hot tub on lower deck, corn hole and two grills for our grill connoisseurs. Fire pit for s’mores and tall tales. Screened in porch with mountain view has twin bed swing for ultimate relaxation. Comfortably sleeps 12.
The space
The Wildflower is a log cabin overlooking Blue Ridge mountains. Located in the Aska Adventure area, we're just a short drive to Lake Blue Ridge where fishing, swimming, and boating are available.

Main entry level has open concept living room, dining room and fully stocked kitchen.

Wood burning fireplace and 55" Roku TV above.

Screened in porch with TWIN sized swing bed and dining table with chairs.

King bedroom with flat screen Roku TV and private balcony.

Full size bathroom stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Upper level:
King bedroom with Roku smart TV, desk and swing chair

Loft bedroom with Queen daybed + Full bed trundle

Shared 1/2 bathroom

Lower level:
Bunk bedroom= 4 twin beds

Shared full size bathroom stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Game room/Movie room has large sectional with chaises and oversized beanbag. Perfect for group movie night!

Family Trip

We loved our stay at this place and everything was set up so well! We had 8 adults and a dog with plenty of space to spare. I would highly recommend booking this cabin and can’t speak highly enough about how they have it set up for family fun and relaxing in the mountains. The hosts are so thoughtful - firewood, a few snacks when you arrive, and space to just enjoy the outdoors. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

This place was amazing! Communication with the host was exceptional! Description was accurate. We were so pleased with everything that we will definitely be staying here again. Thanks so much for a wonderful couple of much needed days of relaxation!!!!

Great stay at the Wildflower

The Wildflower was exactly as advertised. Great house for my family. Grandchildren ages 1, 3, 5, and 15 plus 4 adults. Plenty of room. The house was clean and spacious. The Game room and Hot tub were a hit for all. Everything we needed was provided including a pack and play for the infant. Great views and good time had by all.

Fall Break Getaway

This was the perfect spot for us to enjoy a few days away for fall break. Our only ask would've been for the trees and foliage to be showing their beautiful fall colors, if only our stay was a few weeks farther into the cooler temps. The property itself, AMAZING. Most game rooms are a wasted space because their games frankly just really aren't good. Our kids and my husband stayed in the game room so much because the games were great and we enjoyed movie nights on the extremely comfy couch in the basement. Felt like home immediately, we loved it here!

Misleading not clean

We actually didn't stay. Upon arrival, my boys and I were not happy at all with the state of the cabin. We called VRBO and stated the problems as well as messages the owners via VRBO messaging. Trash was overflowing and in plastic bags outside the main bedroom when it should have been in a hard to open container because of bears. Every light fixture in the cabin had spider webs on it. When we walked around on the back deck we walked through spider webs. The cabin was extremely small and made to look bigger in the pictures and description. There were random shovels in the yard. I large container box next to the fire pit with used hand towels on it. So much for enjoying a view. There was dog waste around the fire pit. The interior walls when the met the ceiling did not meet up all the way and had a gap around the top of the wall. My two boys and I left within 10 minutes of being there and contacted VRBO and the owners about the issue and there was nothing offered. We paid in full a month in advance and did not stay there one not and were only at the property 10 minutes. Very unhappy. I've used VRBO for the last 10 years and never had any issues. :-(

Upon receiving your feedback, we replied immediately and took action by sending our cleaners to address minor issues and ensure the property was brought up to our usual standards the very next morning. However, we regret that our attempts to rectify the situation were met with difficulties in communication with you and a lack of willingness to resolve the matter amicably as you left property before allowing us to even try to resolve. We take pride in providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for all our guests, and it is disheartening when expectations are not met. It is disappointing that despite our efforts, the situation led to the cancellation of your reservation and resulted in you now trying. Or to pay when you agreed to our cancellation policy and gave us zero chance to make right before leaving, then asked for a chance of “refund before I review you”. We certainly will not host you again in the future. Additionally, we would not recommend you as a guest to other hosts based on the circumstances surrounding your stay.
