Love this place!

Everything about this resort was amazing! Jeff was super accommodating and helpful when we booked the VRBO. You get all the amenities at the resort and it feels as it was the same experience as booking directly through the resort! We enjoyed our time and would definitely book with Jeff and stay here again!

Beautiful resort

This resort is quite new and very beautiful. The buildings are new and super clean. The bathrooms around the resort were immaculate. The only downside is the expanse of the resort. There is a large height difference between the ocean building and the building near the skypool and lobby. There are resort carts ( a lot of them) that will drive you anywhere you want to go and they arrive within 2 minutes most of the time. So what could be a major inconvenience became just a minor one. The view from the skypool area was breathtaking and I recommend that you go there at least once to take in that view. The pool there is the busiest of all, so a spot is at a premium. Maybe go there for lunch and a strawberry margarita. The food was pretty decent with some good options for everyone. We paid for the all-inclusive option. I would say this saved us a ton of money as we ate at the resort every day except one. And if you are going to sit and drink by the pool and eat most of your meals at the resort it is definitely the way to go. There are oceanviews in every room as the resort is positioned up a hill and all rooms face the ocean. We stayed in building 41 which basically had its own pool and was very quiet. The waiters at this pool were fantastic and very friendly. The beach was great, of course you can't or shouldn't swim in the water, but it is great for a morning walk. The wind and waves are very refreshing and peaceful while being wild all at the same time. The taxi ride costs $12 USD to the marina and is just under a 10 minute trip. If you are going whale watching I would recommend paying $50-60 USD to a glass bottom boat guy and he will take you out and chase the whales. You will get a personalized experience and most likely get much closer to the whales this way. We originally took the Cabo Escape whale watching tour but it was too short and they were on a tight schedule. We had barely spotted whales and they had to turn around to go get the next tour. With the smaller boat you can pay the guy to stay out as long as you want.

Sunset

The grounds and staff are great - the front desk is terrible to deal with and a major pain in the ass. The resort was also to isolated for my taste - I like to get off resort more

I am so sorry you experienced frustration with the front desk staff. They are usually very helpful. It's true that the resort is very private and tucked away just outside of downtown, but it's only a 5 or 10 minute taxi ride to anywhere in downtown Cabo or the marina, and the resort offers a free hourly shuttle to the sister resorts on Medano Beach -- where you can swim in the Sea of Cortes, jet ski, kayak, parasail, boat, etc. Obviously, the rooms, views, pools and landscaping are spectacular!

Amazing resort!

Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is beyond amazing! Gorgeous landscaping throughout, each and every worker was very kind and helpful and it was extremely relaxing. There was so much to do at the resort, the whale watching from your own balcony was mind blowing, the pools were all over the place and each had a different atmosphere to fit how you felt that day! The food was excellent. I couldn’t possibly run out of good things to say about this place!

Great quick getaway!

The resort was awesome and we had a nice trip. Everything was clean and exactly as described. Covid precautions were taken at every turn and we couldn’t have felt safer. Communication with host was easy and we had no issues. We will be back, thanks Jeff.

Little piece of heaven

Is a little place in heaven but they are so aggressive with wanting you to buy into time sharing that gets to a point that’s annoying and that would be the only reason I wouldn’t stay again in this property. The property is beautiful and perfect but they have to be more respectful of people space during vacations .

Great booking experience

We’ve been to this resort many times but this was the first time renting through Jeff on VRBO. We unfortunately had a medical emergency that required we cancel the trip at the last minute. However, the booking experience was great, very professional and efficient. Jeff answered all my questions and concerns beforehand. His communication was prompt and thorough. We’ll definitely rent through him on VRBO again and recommend him to others.

Great Host and Cabo Resort

Group of us all stayed at this resort for a 40th birthday. Jeff was great at communicating with us for all aspects of the booking and the resort was even better than we hoped for!

Perfect

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Sunset Beach! We arrived end of November and just missed the awful rain. The weather was so perfect and the staff is so nice. I highly recommend this resort and booking with Jeff. He responded to my emails/texts quickly and ensured all my questions were answered. You won't be disappointed! Thank you, Jeff!

Wonderful, relaxing, amazing stay!

We found this resort via VRBO and we couldn't have loved it more! What a beautiful property-- we had a large condo style suite with an ocean view-- incredibly beautiful! The room was large, clean, and so inviting. The property had so many restaurants, pools, and places to relax. The golf carts taking us everywhere made it easy to travel between locations at the resort. The complimentary shuttle between resorts was so easy and convenient. The staff was SO incredible, friendly, and helpful with every possible need. The activities were so fun-- Jaime led us all in the most energetic and effective water aerobics class-- not to be missed! We were miserable to leave and can't wait to come back.

The WiFi at the resort generally works well, but as with any technology, there can be issues from time to time in the area or just in particular rooms. Since there are over 800 rooms at Sunset Beach, maintaining perfect service in every room is a big job, but they certainly do their best! As for check-in, I am so sorry you had difficulty. It is normally a very quick and smooth process for most guests, and I do my best to ensure that the correct guest name is entered into their reservations system for the proper room category and dates, so my guests rarely have any issues at check-in. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced and hope you will give the resort another chance to do better the next time!
