Overall, this property was wonderful. Six of us stayed three nights and two of us the fourth night. We travelled from Minnesota for Mom's, 90th birthday. The space easily accomodated 18 of us for the celebration. The house was clean enough on the inside, except for the floors. The dishwasher had a horrible smell that didn't go away even with several cycles run. However, the pool and the patio as well as outdoor furniture were dirty. To be fair, it had been windy that week. But, overall, the outside space looked neglected. The basketball hoop was ripped, a deflated basketball and a few other scattered toys, an untrimmed tree and empty flower pot in the yard. One patio chair was broken and left. The cushions on the chairs were faded, dirty and worn out. The firecage was rusted, dented and past its prime. The pool pump was broken but was repaired quickly during our stay.A few maintenance issues inside also need attention. The stool in the master suite was loose on floor. The handle needed to be jiggled at times to stop it running. An outlet in the bathroom and bedroom were loose in the wall. The bedroom with the curtain smelled of stale smoke, indicating the carpet may need to be cleaned. The pots and pans need to be replaced. The view of the mountains is spectacular! The privacy, peace and quiet were delicious! The outdoor space, sublime, complimented by the outdoor lighting and misters for comfort. It would take very little time and money to make this space perfect!
