Property Details:
Henderson Haus is a beautifully maintained 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom town home located in Henderson Park, just a short walk to the beach and steps from Henderson Beach State Park. This multi-level retreat comfortably sleeps 6 guests with a King bed in the primary suite, a Queen bed in the second bedroom, and two Twin beds in the third. All bedrooms are located on the lower level, each equipped with its own TV, offering a quiet and restful space after a day of sun and surf.

The second floor features a bright, open concept living area with comfortable seating, a dining space, and direct access to a private balcony. The balcony includes a built-in grill and seating area, perfect for enjoying meals outdoors while taking in the views of the surrounding park. When we arrived we were surprised to find kids fingerprints on mirrors and only one small set of shampoo and conditioner based on our length of stay BUT this location, outdoor sunrise/sunset deck were worth any oversight by the cleaning crew. The outdoor furniture and railing need some love so be careful as you sit or lean on these wood products. You will cherish your time here enjoying the best Destin has to offer. If you have a work seminar at The Henderson as I did, this is maybe a 3 minute walk to the resort.

Would definitely stay at this property again

The property was clean and spacious. Check in was very easy! Very close to a lot of restaurants and very close to the beach!

Great budget friendly beach view home

The property had everything we needed and was a great price for the Destin location. Was worried at first dealing with a property management company but it worked out so well that we will be seeking out other properties by Emerald Coast Vacation Rentals in the future.

Family Vacation

Nice and comfortable place to stay. There was plenty of space and a beautiful view of the beach from the balcony. Very close to pretty much every store and restaurant. Highly recommended.

Best of Destin

Crystal Beach area is our favorite place to stay in Destin. We visit 3-4 times a year and always stay in this neighborhood. This was our first time staying in this rental and it was very nice and we would highly recommend this location and unit. It had everything needed and the outdoor shower was great for sandy shoes.

Destin December 2024

Quiet location was nice and felt very safe. Really nice local eateries. Great to have two dedicated work stations for remote work. Fast Wi-Fi was a great feature. Beds were very comfortable.

Beautiful place and great location! Walking distance to the white sands & blue water beach! You can, however, tell that it has been loved by many as it does need a little TLC as in paint touch up. Had a few issues with light fixtures but maintenance was right on it and fixed it promptly for us.It was well stocked and was furnished and decorated very tastefully. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolute Gem on the Beach

Beautiful Beach sunsets off of the back patio. Very quiet neighborhood which was surprising for being as close to everything as it was. From the bedrooms and bathrooms all the way to the garage, the place was extremely clean. This was my first time visiting in the Destin area, and having stayed here made the trip that much better.

Beautiful, peaceful stay

Our townhouse was amazing! We were next to the national park and right across from the beach, so the area was peaceful and quieter, yet close to any amenity you need. The condo itself was beautiful, bright and spacious, with a great layout and comfortable rooms! We loved being able to walk to the beach every morning with our toddler, and we truly feel refreshed leaving our vacation! We would definitely come back next year!

This is a beautiful home with a nice peek-through view of the water, close walk to the beach. The beds are comfortable and the living area is really nice and big and open. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again. A few things...we were pretty upset to see in the email that came a couple of days before checking in that check-in (despite the listing when we booked saying we could get in at 4pm) could be as late as 6pm. I've never seen such a late check-in and I arrived early that morning to get everyone from the airport about 11am, so not getting in until that late to even be able to change into swimsuits and with a disabled mom who had no place to rest comfortably was pretty upsetting. In the end, it was actually clean and ready at 4pm. But tht left us unable to do our grocery shopping, as we'd planned bc we didn't know if we'd have a fridge available. Also, there was no propane for the BBQ (which we planned to use for a big celebrataion dinner). And using the stove caused the smoke detector to go off EVERY time. There's no vent hood. The beach access that is a five minute walk to the east was roped off and had private beach signs everywhere the first time we tried to use it (first full day) and covered in chairs and umbrellas from the neighboring resorts, so we ended up driving to another beach. The next two days we found some access there. The bedrooms are all on the first floor with living upstairs. Lovely deck and big garage. No can opener.

It was a great location and awesome accomodation for our local family to join us at times for meals

It is very accomocating for 6 people. We are in our 70's and very physically fit. It might be more difficult for persons who have difficulty climbing stairs. My husband has dementia and we did just fine, but he is still very physically able to do a lot. It is truly a beautiful townhouse and location is perfect. Would highly recommend except when we might want to come back :)

Nice location but...

Great location and nice view from the top floor, but the top floor smelled like a damp basement. Smell did not go away. Also, the walk to the public beach access point is too far if you have a lot of items to carry. Found out that we could have accessed the beach from the inn across the street but we weren't provided the access key and that was frustrating. We also didn't like any of the bathrooms. Top floor bathroom tub was clogged when we arrived. All bathrooms need to be upgraded and cable didn't work.
