Welcome to Big Tuna, a stunning 6 bedroom, 5.5 bathroom beach house in Galveston`s highly desired Sea Isle subdivision. This spacious and stylish home offers the epitome of luxury coastal living with its beautifully designed interior, high end appliances, delightful outdoor living space, proximity to the beach and access to the nearby community pool and fishing pier.



● WINTER TEXAN RATE: Escape to the Texas Gulf Coast this winter! Ask about our reduced monthly rates October 1 - March 1.



● Location: Sea Isle beach community of Galveston, Texas



● Beach access: 30 second drive to the Sea Isle beach parking lot, or 5 minute walk.



● Community Amenities: Guests have access to the Sea Isle community pool for a fee— open Memorial Day thru Labor Day— and the community boat launch and fishing pier with the provided keys.



● Rent BeachBox: Beach gear rentals are available! Ask us for details and rates.



● WIFI/Cable: We provide free high-speed WIFI and Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming service apps.



● Pet Policy: 3 pets are allowed with a $25 fee per pet. Please keep pets off furniture, clean up after them outside, and crate them if left alone indoors.



● Large Groups: We love hosting church groups and large family gatherings, however groups over the size of 14 guests must be approved prior to booking.



● Parking: There is room for up to 5 cars between the garage and driveway.



● Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee.



● Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.



● Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

The house was absolutely perfect! Loved all the rooms and bathrooms. The house was the perfect size, very spacious. And loved the location. So close to the beach. Thanks for everything! Would definitely rent this house again!

Extended Family Beach Getaway

Family spent 5 days in June of 2025. Group included 2 great grandparents, 4 mid-fifties adults, 1 teenager, 1 young family of 4 with 1 infant and a 4-year old. Overall, time here was enjoyable. First the good - home is large, beautiful, and has plenty of room for everyone to spread out. There are many balcony areas to sit outside and enjoy the views. Home is well-appointed with all the kitchen amenities you need. We did cook quite a bit. Rooms are large, comfortable and most have an ensuite bath. Loved that we were all able to shower within minutes of each other and never run out of hot water, great! Home is in a quiet neighborhood near the beach and away from the touristy seawall. We visited the beach every day and loved it. Check in was easy and clear. The not so good -The dryer did not work. It did not heat up, so we weren't able to dry wet clothes. The microwave and outdoor grill were dirty and rusted. The outdoor grill especially had not been cleaned in quite awhile. We were not able to use it and ended up purchasing a grill from Walmart. The remote controls for the upstairs TV and for one of the dowstairs bedroom fans were missing, we were never able to locate them. Use of the pool was an extra charge. Property management was advised of all issues and, though were not able to resolve dryer issue, responded quickly. If these issues can be addressed, our stay would be an easy 5 stars. We enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back.

Nice house and good location

We had a group of family for a quick weekend getaway. The house was very nice and great location with an easy walk to the beach. Managers were responsive and able to remedy a situation with the key on check in and they kept in touch throughout the weekend and leading up to our stay. We could’ve used more towels, especially since the dryer didn’t get hot and we couldn’t get anything to dry. Also, there are only sheer curtains throughout the house, even the bedrooms, so privacy was a little difficult and made sleeping in a little difficult, especially for our littles. Lastly, the upstairs shared bathroom had a tub/shower set up but no shower curtain so baths only in there. Otherwise, all the outdoor spaces were nice, kitchen had everything we needed, and overall the house was in good shape.

Family get away

8 adults and 2 kids were more than comfortable.The home clean and cared for. One ceiling fan controller was missing- but my son found that he could down load an app to be able to use the fan. We could’ve used another couple towels- but overall it was a great stay.

Perfect Galveston Location for Vacation

Home is distance away from other homes compared to other sites. Close to restaurants and the beach. Home is well kept and updated. Many amenities. Off season rates were affordable.

Big Tuna Times

Our family very much enjoyed our stay. The beach house is beautiful with plenty of space. Only a few minor details that would keep me from saying it was perfection. The room I stayed in happened to have a lingering smell of foot odor. Every other room smelled fine. After a few days it seemed a little better. As a family who loves watching TV in bed, more TVs in the bedrooms would be top notch. But a marvelous stay with ease of access to the beach! Go down to Allex’s fish market and get some fresh seafood to cook in the fabulous kitchen with your family. Fun times!

Family reunion

We had a great time! The house was big enough for our large family. Kitchen was clean and well stock. Bedrooms were clean and large too. Will defiantly use it again. The only thing we could have use more of were towels. But no problem there was a large laundry room well stock too.Thank you for letting us make our family memories in your beautiful home.

This home was perfect for our staff retreat! The hosts stayed in contact with us the whole stay and had clear directions upon check in and check out. The home was steps away from the beach and a quick drive to town!

Beautiful Beach Home, But Needs A Little TLC!

This Galveston home is an ideal beach rental, and it was difficult to provide sucha low rating given its many positive attributes. The location is excellent, offering stunning ocean views and convenient beach access. The house is beautifully decorated with ample amenities, including a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and a lovely outdoor space for dining and relaxation. There are plenty of sleeping spaces, towels, and bathrooms available, providing guests with everything they need for a comfortable stay. Regrettably, our experience was overshadowed by a pest issue. We encountered roaches in the kitchen nightly and a significant number of gnats in the upstairs guest bathtub, making it unusable. While some of our group are from TX and accustomed to occasional pest appearances, the frequency and severity we experienced were beyond what is typical. One out of state guest even discovered a roach had traveled with them to the airport which was concerning. We understand beach locations can attract these critters but it made us wonder if pest control was a priority. Minor issues: pet hair on the downstairs couch and rug, the coffee maker required a deep cleaning to work properly, and the freezer door needed to be securely closed each time to maintain its temperature. While the home’s charm and amenities are appealing, the pest situation significantly impacted our stay which was disappointing. This is a great rental so we hope the issues are addressed for future guests.

Girls trip

We had our annual girls trip. All of us over 60 and we had a blast. The house was wonderful, but next time we need to find fewer stairs. The inly issues we had was the freezer would not stay clised, and we ciuld have used more towels. The pics were very close to what you actually get. The beds are very comfy.

Lovely Family Weekend

The home was beautiful, linens clean, and home welcoming. Beach Box was so responsive throughout the booking process and even upon arrival. It was great to find a place with all the king beds and en suites for all our extended family to have a comfortable space for the weekend. We went with the ordering pizza and catering route, so we didn’t really cook, but it looked like basic appliances and pots and pans were well appointed. Rented a golf cart which was great to get around. Beach access parking is right across the main road and easy to walk to, but golf cart was nice for the grandparents and trips back to the house as needed. No Keurig, fyi. We didn’t even check and all brought coffee pods, but there is a regular percolating coffee pot with filters. Outdoor furniture on deck was really nice and we spent a lot of time outside. Parking for more than 4-5 vehicles in driveway may be tight. We had 4 and fit comfortably. Awesome private pier for fishing in Sea Isle neighborhood with bait shop right there. Thanks!
