Terrific stay at this South Side place! Cortney was super easy to work with and had great communication! Every detail in the home was very thought out; the rooms were clean, the beds comfortable and I will not hesitate to look for availability here any time we visit Pittsburgh! The neighborhood has a ton within walking distance; the coffee shop next door is amazing, and having 2 parking spots is priceless! Thank you!

Fantastic!!

We had a phenomenal stay at this gorgeous historical building! The communication with the owners was top notch and the coffee and pastries we had from their beautiful coffee shop downstairs were fantastic! Definitely recommend this beautiful property!!

Gem with coffee

Amazing accommodations, gracious hosts and fun neighborhood — all with the best coffee shop downstairs! We loved this experience and appreciated the owners so much. We can’t wait to come back! If this property is available you should book it!!!

Best VRBO I’ve ever had!

Wow! The house is amazing. Cozy, fully equipped kitchen, beautifully decorated and the nicest host ever. Throw in the abolity to get great coffee downstairs and walk to Aldi, a gym and food places - perfect! . We will use this each time we come to Pittsburgh.

Our new favorite place !!

We loved red cat and felt right at home from the moment we opened the front door. it is beautifully decorated and had so many little touches that were above and beyond -- beautiful flowers, whiskey ice cubes... Also, having the best coffee shop downstairs made it even better! Courtney was very responsive to every question and so helpful with suggestions.

The only place I'll stay in Pittsburgh!

I suggest you treat yourself to this amazing home. It is fully stocked with everything you'll need, plus a few extra treats from the amazing hosts. Each room is beautifully decorated and our family had plenty of room. We played games in the kitchen, enjoyed the fire pit on the deck, and the first floor coffee shop is a must see! My only regret is that I could not stay longer. We will be back for sure!

Big Dog Coffee's Little Red Cat/Historic Pittsburgh Home

My expectations were blown away with this property. The rooms were bigger than expected and every one had a nice size bathroom plus a bonus bathroom on the upper level. The hosts were incredible and showed more interests in their guests than any other host I've interacted with before. The location was perfect for what we needed and there were lots of choices of restaurants within walking distance. I definitely would book again next time I'm in the Pittsburgh area. Thank you so much for making our stay perfect!

Our group agreed that this was one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in! The space was perfect for us, the location was ideal and there were so many extra thoughtful touches that blew us away! Candies, fresh fruit, beverages, cookies, outlets easily accessible and in every room, books, games, a beautiful outdoor space. I could go on and on. The house is cozy, clean and beautifully appointed. Cortney thought of everything! And she was incredibly responsive and provided plenty of proactive communication. Definitely recommend Little Red Cat! We will be back.

Amazing Property

Wow….simply a wonderful property. We rented this property to attend a college graduation and house Family members. Cortney, the owner, was so courteous and accommodating. We held a reception on the premises and all the guests were equally amazed. Cortney had fresh flowers adorning the rooms and even had shortbread cookies that were so delicious. There is an elevated deck with a fire pit and grill I simply can’t think of enough positive adjectives to describe everything. Also so many places to dine in the vicinity. Highly trcommend this property

Wonderful Christmas in Pittsburg

We were so impressed with the VRBO home at the big dog coffee. The owners were so nice and always quickly communicated with us and always went the extra mile to make sure all of our questions were answered. It was our first time in Pittsburg and traveling at Christmas can be tricky. This VRBO had all the special touches and amenities of home. We loved it! The fridge was stocked with some speciality seltzers and beers. There were homemade cookies left for us and fresh coffee from their shop. It was super comfortable and we would definitely recommend the property and stay here again if we come back. Thank you!

Holiday Surprise

My wife, my mother-in-law and I stayed two nights over the Holiday. It was a surprise gift for them. Getting to the Little Red Cat was an easy drive to the South Side of Pittsburgh. The entrance is tastefully decorated with a wall beside the stairs displaying candy jars and colorful artwork. We stopped at the first floor and peeked in each bedroom. Each is spacious, beautifully decorated, and has its own distinct character. Hardwood floors, thick rugs, and antiques placed here and there made us feel we were staying in an interior decorator's home. Nothing can really prepare you for the walk upstairs to the third floor. The whole floor opens to a large kitchen with woodwork, cabinetry and features from a time gone by. The island sits four adults and is great for that first sip of coffee that you will be taking out to the balcony seating area. The kitchen's cabinets, repurposed from the bakery that was originally part of the building, had us nodding together “yes, this is an unbelievable kitchen”. From the kitchen is the comfy/cozy living room with a large couch, chair, ottoman, big fireplace and television. Behind the couch sits a lovely table and chairs. We put it to use for dinners and a heated game of Scrabble. Cortney checked in before and during our stay. The only issue we had was having to leave at the end of our stay. It was hard to say goodbye to the The Little Red Cat.
