Spacious Alpine Retreat - w/Hot Tub

Welcome to the Black Fox Flat. Our new elegant 3-bdr, 2.5 bath townhome is located in one of the newest developments in Sun Peaks, called "Peaks West". Beautifully finished, it has a modern kitchen with a gas range & new appliances. It is well equipped for every meal to be enjoyed with family & friends. It boasts high ceilings, a spacious open concept living room and dining room for gatherings, a large double car garage with plenty of space to store ski and snowboard equipment securely.

The Black Fox Flat also has a brand new 6 person hot tub, 3 smart tv's, a gas fireplace, après ski bar, and an 8-person boot & glove dryer and warmer. When you're not on the mountain you'll be very cozy here with your family and friends.

Located right beside the Burfield Chair, it is a quick 5 minute walk to put your ski's on and ski directly to the chair lift that opens at 9am. The FREE shuttle bus runs all winter long as well and the bus stop is located across the street from the Peaks West complex. It is just a quick minute drive to the village.

Just steps right outside the front door in the Peaks West complex, there is a well-stocked deli & market, pub, pharmacy, & axe-throwing.

Best place to stay!!

5 stars! This was our second time staying at Black Fox and we absolutely love it. Darren and Jen are incredible hosts—so accommodating and thoughtful, always checking in to make sure everything is going well. They truly go above and beyond. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year!

A fantastic stay at an amazing accommodation! Great ski in ski out location in a quiet area with every amenity thought of. On top of the wonderful accommodation, our host was extremely attentive providing us with a stress free stay. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to family and friends!

Darren & Jen were the perfect hosts. They gave us info on how to best access the ski mountain with our kids. Great apartment with everything you could need and a fabulous location to the mountain and shops. Love black fox and will definitely be back.

Spring Break - Black Fox

They property was great for our family get together and the host were very responsive with anything we needed. Also, it came fully equipped with everything we needed to make meals for our entire stay.

Beautiful place for a family ski getaway

We stayed at the Black Fox for a family ski vacation. The townhouse was beautifully decorated, spacious, fresh and modern. The kitchen was very well-equipped and we enjoyed the use of the BBQ and hot-tub. The garage was perfect for storing our ski equipment and the large equipment heater was especially appreciated. Check-in and out was easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Sublime Experience

Everything was perfect at this rental! Home was lovely and beautifully appointed. Sparkling clean, with adorable “foxy” pieces scattered throughout the home. Everything we could have asked for in the kitchen for cooking, and arriving to the fire burning and a bottle of wine waiting was the icing on the cake. Comfortable beds with crisp linens, huge hot tub and clear and thoughtful communication with owners made this stay one of the best I’ve had. Thank you!!

Family Fun

I booked the stay for my spouses 50th birthday weekend. We stayed with our 3 teenage children. The place was so comfortable and perfect I didn't want to leave! So cozy and immaculate!! Will definitely book agsin!

Black Fox Flat

Beautiful house. Our group consisted of 2 families of 4 (children all under 10 yrs old) and it worked great for us. Huge garage for car/bike storage, hot tub and bbq, and really nice kitchen, dining and living space on main floor. Darren was really helpful and accommodating, offering ideas of what we could do locally with the kids. 10/10 would definitely love to stay here again.

Outstanding!

Our stay at the Black Fox Flat exceeded our expectations. Our family stayed for a ski week over spring break. The condo was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated and felt brand new. It was stocked with everything…we really appreciated the high quality cook ware, lots of spices, and a variety of coffee. The view of the mountains is fantastic and the hot tub is private. The host was super helpful both before and during our stay. Would stay again and again!

Well Designed Ski Home

Very well designed and thoughtful ski condo, with all the little bells and whistles that make skiing more enjoyable, boot and glove warmers in garage, hot tub to relax in, etc. Great place for family to stay. Hosts are extremely responsive and helpful.

After many years of vacationing in Sun Peaks we decided to move here full time with our kids. We loved that they had a school right here on the mountain and we could do more of what we love, which is skiing, biking, and hiking. We are passionate about the mountains and feel thankful every day that our beautiful backyard is a place to make the best memories in.

The Black Fox Flat just completed in October 2022 and is a modern design with families in mind. The townhouse complex is mostly residents with just a few nightly rentals, so it's a quiet place to stay. Families will be comfortable in this home away from home as it truly has coziness & comfort in mind. It is stocked full of amenities, including a custom-made apres ski bar with a beverage fridge, games, cards and puzzles, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and a fully stocked kitchen with cooking oil and spices. The huge heated garage is a benefit for keeping all your sports gear safe & secure, and it has a level 2 EV charger too. It is only a few minutes walk to put your skis on and ski down to the Burfield Chair. Whether you're sipping a morning coffee, enjoying a glass of wine, or simply taking a moment to breathe, the mountain views off the balcony are a constant source of inspiration and wonder. Truly a place to relax and enjoy!

While sitting in the living room or looking out of the master bedroom, the spectacular view of Morrisey Mountain can be enjoyed. This is where some fabulous black runs with powder stashes are located. Watch the skiers and boarders tackle these runs if you are having a stay-at-home and get cozy day by the fireplace. The townhome is located closest to the powder action on the Burfield Chair. The new West Bowl chair will offer more powder run access, and the Burfield Chair gets you there the fastest.
The Black Fox Flat is only 3 years old; therefore, everything inside is pristine, clean, and modern. The bedding is luxurious and inviting with TVs in the master bedroom and one other guest bedroom. The Black Fox Flat is spacious and can easily accommodate 2 families, a girls' weekend, or a fun friend weekend.
