Less than 1 mile from historic downtown with great local restaurants, shops, and close proximity to local beaches.
15 minutes to Pawleys Island.
Renovated kitchen, Quartz counters, stainless-steel appliances and Cuisinart cookware.

Fenced in backyard.
2 King, 4 Queen Engineered Sleep mattresses made in South Carolina with high thread count cotton sheets.

This house is cleaned after every guest. It is pet friendly. If one stray animal hair is going to upset you this may not be the house for you. :)
1.5 hours from Charleston and 45 minutes from Myrtle Beach.
There is lots to explore in this quaint city including the Harborwalk, Rice Museum, and South Carolina Maritime Museum.

Great stay at a very convenient location!

We stayed there over a weekend. Host provided everything we needed and the location was excellent. I would definitely recommend and hope to be back next year!

Everything was perfect from check in to check out. The owner is exceptional with communication and there is so much room in this very clean and comfortable house! Everything was just as stated and we enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you for a great weekend and being such an attentive host.

We chose this house because it was so close to the downtown area of Georgetown. We spent the weekend here for a wedding, which was also only about 10 minutes away. The house was extremely cozy and comfortable with plenty of room for the six of us. Anytime I had a question the owner responded immediately. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing!

This property is absolutely amazing. The host was very responsive and very accommodating. The house was very clean and in an amazing spot that was close to everything. I highly recommend this place and we will absolutely stay here again.

My 4-star rating is generous. Communication with the host was spot on. The location was perfect for our needs. Easy walk to the downtown area. Bathrooms located centrally between the 4 bedrooms. The house is in a very nice neighborhood. The host might want to check on the group that cleans the property. The house has some age on it and seems tired. A refresh is in order.

Swamp Fox did it

In town for the Georgetown Blue Marlin Tournament. Stayed here 4 nights, clean, easy to get in and out of, lots of space. It’s great!

Swamp Fix

The house is very comfortable and in a very quiet neighborhood. The fenced in backyard worked well for the pup that was traveling with us. Conveniently located to the historical part of Georgetown. Would definitely stay here again!!

Great Location in established brick ranch

Large brick ranch home in beautiful neighborhood. Few blocks from the Georgetown Riverwalk (which was our go to) Short ride to Pawley's Island. Host was very communitive, and house had all things we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Swamp Fox retreat stay

Older property, but roomy, and very comfortable. Very nice neighborhood. The location has great access to the city of Georgetown. Nice layout and amenities! The family had a great time that weekend. The host was attentive, responsive, and professional! A great weekend getaway for families!

Swampfox

The house was very well stocked, and was very comfortable with lots of room to spread out! The fenced yard was great for us and our dogs. The neighborhood was great and it was a short walk to the Historic District with its restaurants, shops, museums and boardwalk! Lyle was very friendly and attentive too! We had a wonderful time at Swampfox!!

Wedding Weekend

Great house, great beds Master shower is outdated and has low pressure and carpets need to be replaces. They are quite old and stained. But other than that the place was fabulous and the location perfect!

Clean, well stocked, but a little tired

Vintage 1951 home and furnishings was a little tired but clean and had plenty of dishes, pans and appliances. Nice touches like extra towels, blankets, shampoo and even chocolates on the beds. Manager was very attentive and spot-on communication. Nothing fancy, and maybe a little cramped if you actually had 12 guests, but good enough for our family and pets.

Family Wedding

The size of this place was wonderful for a large group. We never once felt like we were on top of each other.The property was easy to get to and close in proximity to everything we were planning on doing. Property owner made an excellent and much appreciated suggestion for a restaurant in which to hold a rehearsal dinner. The only downside to the entire place was that the bathrooms need some minor attention. The water pressure in the showers was not very strong and even though there was a gigantic hot water heater, obtaining hot water consistently throughout a shower was a challenge. Both bathrooms had doors that would not close completely. Even though this house is an older house, this is an easy fix. With that said, I still loved it and would rent there again!

I am very active in my church in Greenville and love my church in Georgetown, Prince George Winyah, which celebrated it's 300th anniversary in 2021! There is so much history in Georgetown. I hope you and your family enjoy Georgetown as much as I do!
