We really appreciated the wheelchair accessibility of the house—it made our stay much more comfortable. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub. The views from the deck were absolutely spectacular, and everything was exactly as described in the listing. A great place to stay!

Amazing getaway

This cabin was awesome! Beautiful views with a wonderful outdoor area to enjoy hang out. We loved that all of the appliances were top of the line, there was plenty of cooking utensils and it was very clean. They really thought of everything in this cabin. The owners were really nice and responsive also. We can’t wait to come back! This is definitely one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at; words can’t describe how breathtaking it was.

The property was beautiful with great views. The “Birds Eye View” description of the property does nail it. House was very clean and comfortable, providing all the necessities and accommodations. Communication from property manager/owner was great. They checked in via email and text a couple times during our stay. Had a great time and highly recommended. The only thing I would say is be careful with the amount of guest. A family of 4 would be perfect. It does have good size bunks upstairs with a king downstairs. However we are a family of 5 and like our space. My two teens stayed upstairs while we had to bring an air mattress for our 5th. If you have little ones who don’t mind sharing a bed, it’s great!

Perfect Cabin with Amazing Views

We absolutely loved our stay at Bird’s Eye View! The outdoor space was the highlight—spacious, private, and with truly unobstructed views. The wraparound deck had plenty of comfortable seating, and we spent so much time relaxing by the outdoor fireplace, soaking in the hot tub, and gathering around the fire pit. The grill made it easy to enjoy meals outside while taking in the peaceful mountain scenery. Inside, the cabin felt both cozy and roomy—just like home but with extra touches of luxury. The layout was open and easy to enjoy, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and serve meals. We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities throughout the house, from the coffee bar to the smart TVs and games. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and inviting. The neighborhood was quiet and private, which made the whole stay feel restful and secluded. At the same time, we were just a short drive from restaurants, hiking trails, and local attractions, so we had the best of both worlds—privacy and convenience. Between the views, the comfort, and all the little extras, this cabin made our getaway perfect. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

Loved this cabin! It’s CLEAN (clean freak here), cozy, and has all you need. They don’t skim on things like some do. The owners are great. I was checked in with several times during my stay to see if all was to my liking. The kitchen has a mini ice maker (Sonic style) and now I feel sad because I don’t have that ice in my life. The view from the deck is beautiful. We ate all our meals out there. Another amazing thing—this cabin has its own account for the most popular streaming services. No hassling with logging in and remembering to logout. How thoughtful, right? It’s in a quiet area. We could not see other cabins around us from our cabin, but there are cabins nearby. So… secluded by the trees, but safety in the fact that you have neighbors. Rent this place! It’s a good one!

Great spot!!

We loved our stay at Birds Eye View! As a wheelchair user, I felt super comfortable and was able to navigate around the indoor and outdoor spaces with ease. The deck is amazing!! Our toddler loved exploring and we appreciated being able to put her upstairs for bedtime. They even had a pack and play for us! We arrived during a county-wide blackout and Kevin was super helpful and responsive. He treated us to dinner and let us go stay at another property for the night until the power came back on. The house is super clean and well appointed- we had everything we needed to cook a few dinners. And the hot tub is lovely! We wanted to use the fireplaces but couldn’t figure out how to work them. If it was winter time, we would’ve reached out and I’m sure Kevin would have been responsive but we just moved on. I think it would be nice if there were some instructions at the house about how to use them. The location is about 10 minutes from the cute Hochatown spots and about 25 min from Beaver’s Bend State Park. It’s a beautiful area and the house is perched on a small mountain. All in all, fabulous spot! We would love to return some day!

Absolutely amazing

The house was super clean and very welcoming from the moment we pulled into the driveway, everything was super simple to use. All of the outdoor amenities had automatic shut off timers which was helpful in preventing the chance you forget to shut something off after each use, the owners were super nice and helpful and even reached out a few times to make sure everything was going smoothly due to some bad weather in the area. We will definitely be keeping Birds Eye View in mind for future trips!

Beautiful Cabin in The Woods

What a breath of fresh air! This place was immaculately clean- had lovely spaces indoors and outdoors to relax and take in the peaceful environment. We had a wonderful time! We highly recommend this place. Kevin was easy to contact, very professional and kind. We would book this cabin again!

Relaxing View

We loved our stay at Birds Eye View. The back deck was our favorite spot to hang out as a family and enjoyed the fire place and hot tub. Kevin the owner was quick to respond with any needs and made sure we had a great stay . A bottle of wine was waiting for us and a clean home. We enjoyed our time and would recommend.

This cabin is the real deal!

Bird’s Eye View did not disappoint! The cabin is nestled amongst the trees high atop a hill and this gives you fantastic views and a secluded feel. The back deck, complete with a TV, fireplace and hot tub, is absolutely amazing! We were under a wind advisory the last several days we were there, but we enjoyed the outdoor space as much as we could. The house itself was gorgeous. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook and the pinball machine upstairs was a huge hit too! We all enjoyed playing it! Kevin was extremely responsive and checked on us every day to make sure we had what we needed. Our Spring Break 2025 was awesome! This was our first time to Broken Bow and we will definitely be back!

First Family Vacation

The cabin was AWESOME! Kevin and Heather had us a complimentary bottle to welcome us - we enjoyed the deck and outdoors most of all. The kitchen came with essentials - down to seasoning! That limited our trips back into town. 10 out 10 recommend - we will definitely be back!!!

It was very easy to get there using the GPS. The owner still provided detailed directions the he awnt via text. The kitchen was atocked with seasonings for cooking along with pots and pans. It was very quite. The pics very very accurate. The wifi was a little weak, however that was expected. Only thing that I didn't like is that i couldn't watch TV from the Hottub. But everything else was great.

Beautiful cabin with amazing outdoor space

House was beautiful and very clean. The extensive covered outdoor back patio was perfect since it rained and got to still enjoy the outside. Kevin (host) was extremely responsive and helpful. We would definitely rent again!

Good cabin for a short stay

The Positive The cabin is quiet, serene, and perfect for relaxation. It was clean, well-equipped, and communication with the owner was prompt and friendly. The complimentary bottle of wine was a thoughtful touch, and the hot tub was a great feature for unwinding. The Areas for Improvement The cabin was cold upon arrival (62°F) and took hours to warm up, with the master bedroom remaining significantly cooler. The owner provided a space heater, but the HVAC system needs improvement. The hot tub lacked proper anti-foam treatment, leading to excessive foam by midweek, and the outdoor gas fireplace stopped working after a day and a half. The Concerns The security camera on the back porch, seemingly overlooking the hot tub, raised privacy concerns. While cameras were disclosed, their placement wasn’t specified. Additionally, the lack of curtains in the living and kitchen areas made the cabin feel exposed, despite the low-traffic location.

Cool breeze, beautiful cabin, peaceful setting!

We stayed 3 nights at Bird's Eye and enjoyed every minute. It is a beautiful, tastefully decorated cabin built in the last year or two, so everything is fresh and in great condition. The deck and elevation were the highlights of an already high-end property. The master suite has a great mattress, and we slept like babies. Because the cabin sits at the top of the ridge, the large, covered deck had a constant, gentle, cool breeze. The cabin has a ChargePoint EV charger, so we could drive our Tesla from Dallas without stopping to charge. Bird’s Eye is a 5–10-minute drive to Hochatown, so convenient but also secluded. Kevin, the owner, was very responsive and has a first-class local support team (thank you, Alina and Terry). This is a perfect option for empty nesters, honeymooners, or those with a small family. We will be back.

Outstanding Stay in Beautiful, New Cabin

My, how we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bird’s Eye View!!! Inside the house, this was the best setup by far for a handicapped person in an wheelchair compared to any other stay we’ve ever visited. Beautifully designed and furnished! We thoroughly enjoyed the large, spacious deck with all the vacation amenities any person could possibly ask for. Allowing our miniature Dachshund to come with us was the cherry on the cake. Thank you, Kevin and Heather, for a wonderful stay and for being such gracious hosts.

Relaxing stay in Broken Bow

My husband and I just spent a long weekend here and really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was quiet and private, and easy to find based off of directions provided. My husband also loved the flat top grill! Thank you for sharing your cabin!
