We had a great stay at the Crossroads. The house has a lot of character and is incredibly clean. Our kids loved the loft and the hammocks outside. We really appreciated how well the owner communicated - they even provided a long list of ideas for things to do in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was a great location for our Yellowstone National Park trip. It was only 15 minutes to the West Gate. Property was clean, comfortable beds and plenty of room for our group. Chech-in and Check-out was easy. Pantry was well stocked with a variety of spices, coffee and tea. Host was quick to get back to us with all our questions. Would stay here again.

Overall the property was okay. The outside could definitely use some tlc. The cabin was more rustic than what we were expecting. The beds are small for adults, there just isn’t a lot of room to move around inside. The location isn’t the best for what we were doing. Nothing around for about 20miles other than a gas station that closed early and opened late. We had a great time in Yellowstone but the property wasn’t what we were expecting.

Thank you for your review of the property, we appreciate your honest reply. Yes, the cabin is older and has elements that date back to late 1800’s, the 1960’s, and again with 2024 updates. If you’re looking for a new cabin or new small cabinette - this is not the rental for you. We do, have a great next door neighbor with several small new caninettes if that’s your preference! We are the closest mountain to the West Yellowstone entrance within Island Park proper, which makes it more removed from the constant hum of off road vehicles, dirt bikes & snowmobiles. Communication was fantastic prior to, during and after our check out. The property was as described. The personal touches to make us feel right at home was much appreciated. We had extremely hot weather during our stay and because the lot is tree covered that did help with keeping the cabin from getting too hot and there were plenty of nice fans to keep the air moving. I would describe the property as cozy, rustic with many personal touches (like hammocks in the yard) to make our stay even more enjoyable. We very much appreciated the suggestions of activities to do around the area as well. We saw moose right in the parking lot at Henry Lake.

Very cramped quarters . It advertises for 10 people, we had 5 and were very crowded.You have to walk/crawl thru a room with a 5 foot ceiling height to get to bedroom( I have the wounds on my head to prove it). Extremely hard to have more than 1 person in kitchen at a time due to lack of space which is just as well as we were afraid to have any food in cabin after we found mice droppings on kitchen counter.If old, dirty and worn out is "rustic" then this cabin is definitely rustic.We would never come back or recommend it to others

Thank you for your candid review, we are sorry to hear of your less than desired stay. We have tired to describe the loft with lower ceiling on the listing, so sorry that was a surprise for you. I will look at describing that better. Our cleaning team is well versed on cleaning cabins in the woods, including looking for signs of mice, we haven’t had a mouse issue in 2 years since we purchased and improved the property. However, we will let our pest management team know right away. Thank you.

Great location

Owners were great. The house is stocked amazingly! Be sure to check out Henry lake State Park. The folks at the little store with gas station are super cool too. Great place!

Three couples, had a wonderful time visiting Yellowstone for the first time. Nice cabin close to West Yellowstone made it easy to access the park. Good communication from the owner. Stayed three nights, no issues. Hope to visit the area again.

Yellowstone Oasis

We stayed here while we visited Yellowstone and loved it! The kids space was perfect to keep our kids occupied at night. The hosts did a great job stocking the place with everything you could possibly need. The outside seating around was so peaceful in the mornings!

We are excited to share our little piece of history. The thought of this being one of the orignial stage coach stations in the area, the stories told and experienced on this site inspired us to purchase the property and make it a place of refuge for all. We have put in significant time and effort and will continue to do so to make it amazing. We sure hope you enjoy it, and feel free to reach out if you have any issues that pop up.

We chose this neighborhood because it was away from the busy central Island Park. It is quiet, on it's own mountain side that overlooks Henry's Lake. We feel like we have the best of both worlds with quiet yet accessible as well a gorgeous views of the local terrain.

This cabin is shaded really well by large old pines as well as several aspens and additional pines on the property. The unique sound of wind blowing through the aspens is a not only our favorite cabin sound but also the scenery of the white bark against bright green leaves is striking. It's calming as it seems there is always a gently breeze to rustle the leaves as well as add extra cooling effect to the cabin. The cabin currently sits on a double lot and so the extra space to move about is an added feature with fire pit and lots of parking.
