Fantastic waterfront cabin with private hot tub, screened porch, WiFi, pet-friendly and a fire pit! Park Hollow has the beauty and seclusion of the mountains right at your front door! Book this fantastic wood cabin next to Fightingtown Creek!

Challenge a friend to a game of pool, then spend some quality time with a loved one or a good book in the hot tub. Use one of the two full kitchens to cook up tonight's masterpiece with some fresh fish caught this afternoon down at the creek. Later, stargaze next to a roaring fire at the firepit. Relax on one of the two screened-in porches and listen to the water go down the creek. Feel away from it all but only minutes to Mercier Orchards, downtown Blue Ridge or McCaysville! Walk-in to an open floor plan with the main bedroom suite to the right and two bedrooms and a bathroom to the left. The living, dining and kitchen area are spacious with a fireplace as the focal point. There is a screened patio off this area with amazing views of the creek. The grill is located on the deck right outside the screened patio.

The primary suite has a king-size bed for added comfort and room to sprawl out, while 3 bedrooms have cozy queen-size beds, and the final bedroom has 2 twin-size beds. Both bathrooms on the main level have a walk-in shower with a separate garden tub. Take the stairs down to the lower level where there is a Pac-Man game and pool table. There is an additional living area, kitchen, and another bathroom. The downstairs bathroom does have handrails and is a tub and shower combination. There is a second screened-in porch downstairs. There is a washer and dryer downstairs for your convenience as well.

The cabin was clean when we arrived, and the beds were comfortable, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, several other aspects of our stay were disappointing.The hot tub turned green and developed a bad odor after only a couple of uses, and one of the children developed a rash during our stay, so we stopped using it. There was no propane for the grill, the downstairs level had a strong musty and dog odor, and there were flies in the downstairs bathroom upon arrival.The game room was poorly maintained, with a broken chair, no pool cue chalk, and an unfinished appearance that did not match the listing photos. The kitchen was sparsely equipped, the stove knobs became dangerously hot (I burned my hand), and there were very limited cleaning supplies and trash bags.The outdoor areas were poorly maintained, the patio table was dirty, access to the river was extremely difficult, outdoor lighting was almost nonexistent at night, and the Wi-Fi only worked well on the main floor.Overall, the property needs significant maintenance, and the photos do not accurately reflect its current condition.

Nice stay. Downstairs smelled like mildew and the bathrooms had some mildew, otherwise everything was good. Good location.

We had a great time at the cabin! It was very clean and for the most part as advertised. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the master bedrooms bed was soooo comfortable. There were some not so great things such as every other bed being very, very loud upon entering/exiting as well as not really being comfortable in general. The downstairs bathroom has a very large gap in the top of the door so there’s little to no privacy. The upstairs guest bathroom is fine however the shower is very dark and creepy when you’re in it especially at night. The hardest part of the trip was the initial arrival. There is ongoing construction that has clearly been going for quite some time and the directions did not state this. We ended up arriving an hour past check in because of being lost even though we followed the written directions and online maps. Smaller things like the cups being very dirty, no response when asked about parking prior to arrival & the wifi being the only source of service out there weren’t a problem but noticeable. The main issue was that we came here expecting water access as shown in the property photos but the those we could do was overlook the water. There is a huge 2-4 foot drop from the bank to the water on top of the intense incline of the steep hill leading down to the bank. There is so much dirt it turns to mud with any rain making it dangerous once you get down the stairs of the house. All in all a good trip but would not book again. Thank you

Great location and lots of space

We had a wonderful time at this property. It’s close to Blue Ridge and also McCaysville and within 15 mins of some hiking trails. The cabin was very spacious and allowed areas for the adults to relax while the kids entertained themselves in the game room. The hot tub was great and it was nice overlooking the creek while soaking. We were very pleased with everything, and the communication with the property managers was awesome!

Great location

It was in a beautiful location. A few things need to be repaired but definitely had plenty of space. They wasn’t a lot of everyday utensils in the kitchen Who ever maintains the grounds and the interior doesn’t seem to care about their quality of work.

Family Getaway

The property was as described but more than we expected. The creek was a beautiful addition to our trip. We enjoyed the games and screened porches during our family time. One suggestion would be to create a walkway down the hill to the creek that stagers since it is so steep. That to me was the only negative part of the property. We would definitely again.

Overall the property was good but there were a few issues. The beds were not comfortable at all and the box springs need to be replace or removed as they were extremely noisy, in fact one of the beds had a plastic bag around the mattress and no one could sleep on it. There were about 40 to 50 finishing nails laying on the lower back porch and the deck where the grill is located needs to be replaced as the wood is starting to rot. Overall we made do and if these items are corrected this will make a good place for a large family or two families.

Fun Family Vacation

Property was beautiful! The creek was nice to fish in, but no luck catching anything. Fire pit area was very nice to sit around while making s’mores! Beds were all pretty nice. Stove in the kitchen on main floor doesn’t turn down low enough and food kept burning from cooking to quick, as well as only one burner would turn on.No trash bags were left for us to use except the one that was in the can. Overall very happy with property and would definitely come to again! Oh and the QR code to scan when arriving did not work so no idea what was on there.
