This is a pet free room. You will be charged a $1000 fine for bringing pets.


Lazy Duck Inn Room #29: has everything you need for a comfortable stay. This single king room has a smart TV with basic satellite package and a full bath making this unit perfect for relaxing after a long day. A communal grill with plenty of outdoor seating makes for a great hangout space to enjoy a beautiful Montana evening.

The ice machine and BBQ grills are turned off for the season after October 1st (weather permitting).

Yellowstone National Park Operating Dates:
The West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park is open seasonally. The summer season typically runs from the 3rd Saturday in April until November 1st. The West Entrance then closes from November 1st until Mid-December. The entrance then reopens for the winter for oversnow travel season. The oversnow season typically runs from Mid-December until Mid-March. The entrance closes again until the opening day of the summer season in April. These dates are subject to change, please confirm park operating dates prior to booking your stay.

Great location. Very clean. Didn't expect a great TV at a campy place. Only suggestion is to put soap dispensers on the back of the shower rather than the side. It's a bit crowded.

Very clean, quiet, and updated room . Close to West Yellowstone entrance. We walked to the main shopping/dining area. Recommend Ernie’s deli for box lunch to take on day hike.

Clean property, with ample parking. Our room was as nice and new as any major hotel brand, but the little extras(huckleberry salt water taffy) were a plus. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Yellowstone.

This was such a nice place to stay. Everything was clean and well maintained. On-call staff was just down the road and easy to reach and quick to respond if anything was needed. We called for some ice and some more towels to be sent to our room and somebody was there in less than five minutes. The location was extremely quite in the evenings which made for a very restful night sleep. The bed we had was so comfortable that I was falling asleep in just a few minutes. The location was also an easy walk (4 minutes) to the town center, shops and restaurants. You can choose to drive to the town square area, but parking is hard to find. It was just easier and faster to walk. Obviously there might be some places you will want to drive to instead of walk, but for most everything you could want, walking is the way to go because the motel is so close to everything. Our room felt like home away from home and I would and will definitely stay there again in the future. Do yourself a favor and try the Lazy Duck Inn, you will be very glad you did.

Yellowstone my stay

I was under the impression I was going to be in a cabin. The room was spotless. I didn't sleep well on the mattress. Hate the lack of mirrors. Nice to have laundry facilities so close. They also were very clean.

The room was a good size for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable. Towels were good quality as was the provided shampoo and conditioner in the dispensers in the shower. Good TV channel selection for relaxing after a long day in Yellowstone or Grand Teton. Shower water pressure and temperature were very good. Easy parking. Was great having the ice machine to fill the cooler each morning. It was always full of ice! When I contacted them for more toilet paper and a couple new towels, they responded quickly and delivered as promised. The location is off the main roads which was good for quiet time. For people who aren't able to walk distances, this means driving into town for dinner but that wasn't a big issue for us. Access to Yellowstone National Park couldn't have been easier! Would stay here again if in the area.

Nice unit but don't expect breakfast to be included

Very nice unit but manager has deal? with a breakfast place (Olde town cafe) that opens up when they feel like it. We went there 3 different days at 7:05, 7:15 and even 7:55 and they weren't open. So instead of getting a nice break on the cost of breakfast, we had to go somewhere else and pay full price. I contacted the manager and was basically told that he wouldn't do anything about this problem - not the way to run a business...
