The house was great, very clean & cozy. Limited space inside to eat all together, we sat outside on the patio furniture for meals. Great responses from owner when we had questions. It is a little further from town but it’s also nice and quiet. Would stay again.

Bear Encounter

Had a great stay. It was an extension of our beach vacation in Myrtle. Enjoyed the hot tub and the pool. Those were great amenities. House was super nice and it was clean. I enjoyed morning coffee on the deck swing. Then as we were packing up we got to experience a good size bear foraging around outside of the home. It was awesome. Recommend the place.

We absolutely loved this place. The description was spot on. The area was nice and peaceful. We had an amazing stay. We will definitely be back.

We paid for 7 days left in 4 would not recommend it. The beds are very uncomfortable pictures are very deceiving. It is not very clean.

Family Vacation

We had a great experience, cabin was clean and well stocked for our stay. My children loved the pool and us adults enjoyed the hot tub.. Property manager was great we had a question and he was quick to respond .. we will defiantly be renting this cabin again in the future .

Great clean cabin close to town

Very clean, everything worked great except no hot water in upstairs shower, very limited in main level shower. Pool and hot tub were great. Very private location. Would definitely rent again if showers were better.

Perfect getaway!!!

We had an amazing and relaxing stay!!! Absolutely no complaints. I will be honest that after booking is when I read reviews so I was nervous! After getting there, we saw NO roaches that others complained about. There were plenty of dishes/cookware. It was very refreshing and we would definitely recommend and we would book there again!!!!

Great place to stay!

What a great place to stay! The cabin is beautiful, it was clean, and is very comfortable. The host's communication was excellent and their response time was extremely quick. We had one minor maintenance need (the porch swing) and it was fixed on the next business day. The hot tub and indoor pool were clean and fully functional. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the area.

Adventure

Our stay was amazing! Getting there was an adventure. It snowed the day we came in. They closed the road 2 miles from the cabin. We had to hike with our stuff to the cabin! Ended up being a fun yet strenuous experience. The weekend day was amazing Then it was time to head home. No one plows the big hill or the drive, we split off of the drive getting out. It took us two hours to dig our self out and get back on the road. Again, it was fun and experience and an adventure.

Definitely not recommended

Beds are horrible, air conditioning doesn’t keep house cool, spent two days no electricity and never could get in touch with property owner.

Beautiful home but there were a few issues..

The water pressure on the third floor is pretty bad, the 3rd floor bathroom and kitchen sink take a 3-4 minutes for the water to get warm. The pool was suppose to be 85 degrees and and heated, it was not. Our temps were reading 67 degrees. There was a remote to control the pool that was missing. There were black ants biting around the pool, messaged the owner and they said they'd take care of the issue when we left. The views were great, it was peaceful. A bit of a slope going up to the area, but it is the mountains and was expected. The home is beautiful. The water pressure, pool temp, and lack of curtains in sleeping areas (Living room and bedroom downstairs) were kind of inconvenient. I have hypertension and the hot tub wasn't an option so the cold pool was a major let down. Also, no outdoor seating on the third floor. So there were a few issues, but nothing that would keep me from coming back other than the pool. We just all showered on the main floor.

Very Disappointing

Within an hour of arriving, we saw the first of many cockroaches. They were on all three floors, even in the beds. Notified the owner who said an exterminator would be there the next day, but no one showed up the entire stay. We started looking in the kitchen to see if we could find where they were coming from and found a bait trap under the sink with dead roaches in it. This owner rented this cabin knowing he had an infestation. The bed linens were filthy. It looked like someone peed the bed in the main floor bedroom. Pool is mouldy and it took days to get the smell out of our hair. The first night we were there, we had a nice time sitting on the second deck, but the next night there were renters in the cabin up the hill from us and when we sat out there the smell was horrible. We started looking around to see what it was and saw a pipe sticking out of the hillside and water and raw sewage flowing down the driveway. This cabin ruined an otherwise perfect Girl's Trip. Owner is a tool. Tried to give him a chance to make it right, sent him pictures backing up every complaint, and he accused me of extortion. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS GUY!

Very pretty place but the roaches were awful

When we arrived it was very nice. It looked beautiful but at night roaches got on the counters in the kitchen and were literally crawling in and out of the walls downstairs. My daughter could not even sleep on the first level with the pool. Their were literally roaches falling on her on the bed. Also we had to go get our own pots and pans because they only had one. It was a terrible Pan and you couldn't even cook in it and the handle was wobbly. Also water pressure on second floor was awful and the bed was absolutely hard and me and my husband felt like we had been beat up when we left. I took videos of the roaches at night crawling on everything. I'm not talking one or two. I mean a lot. We had to move all her things to the couch upstairs so she could sleep without thinking bugs were on her. The host was very nice up until I wrote and emailed him the videos of the pictures with the bugs. Then he became non existent. He didn't even apologize that we had to deal with that or try to make it right in any way. Like I said I have and had evidence of the issue. So if he gets that under control it would have been a better place. Plus bring your owl Towels because you don't get very many.
