First of all we're glad our guests enjoyed...for future guests., cooling is actually more efficient if thermostat is set no lower than 69 degrees. We hope you come back !

Thanks to our guests for the feedback. A very important point was left out in that once reported, the leak was addressed even while our guests were still there. To the best of our knowledge this problem did not reappear during the stay, and the problem is resolved going forward. Also, during the stay, the A/C was addressed and now works fine. Please know our guests' comments were taken in good taste and served as notification of matters that needed to be addressed for them and future guests.

To our guest. your concerns are noted. A/C has been addressed. We continue to ask guests to set no lower than 68 degrees in summer for max efficiency

Not quite sure how to make it more obvious but the house description clearly gives the guests an OPTION to bring linens or call ahead to HHH to provide them, which our guests ultimately did. Some items are old, but updates will take place soon. However, if our guests have an overall good experience, we're happy until updates can take place. Thank you

Thank you, We'll get the blinds fixed. We've asked guests not to open the blinds by pulling on the blades but it still happens. Our visitors should not have brought cats since our pet policy is dogs only. We'll further enforce the pet rule.

As it turns out, it was a simple matter of the water heater breaker on the electrical panel box being left in the "off" position. We would have easily remedied the problem. Thanks for the input. The linen issue requires further investigation. Our staff meticulously provides clean linen for each guest. We paid to replace parts for the washer because sand was found in the rinsing mechanism. We've asked guests to make sure any beach apparel is sand free before washing. Unfortunately, it looks as though our guests' second wash included beach wear with sand which explains why it drained correctly on the previous wash and not this one. Once again, we ask that future guests to be mindful of these instructions. We have also noticed that we have no AC issues if guests' follow the setting limitations in our instructions and make sure windows and doors are closed while operating the AC. Thank you

We appreciate the feedback. The dead bugs found are a product of the ongoing professional treatment required because of the climate in the area. Finding them shows that the treatment is working and we're sorry you experienced the residuals. We'll continue with regular treatment. While respecting your opinion, to characterize the house as run down may be more of an observation of an old style since we spent literally spent thousands over the last couple of years replacing all of the decks, replacing and painting all of the siding and maintaining the interior walls and ceiling. As stated earlier, we appreciate your feedback, but we want future guests to know that much attention is paid to the maintenance and upkeep of the house.

Thanks Michele, We'll consider placing some beach toys on the premises again. In the past some have "disappeared," but your point is well taken. Also we will do fix up work this winter while, meanwhile, our guests enjoy the positive features that you pointed out. Thanks again.

Brendan, We're glad you enjoyed. For the present, our contracted hospitality associate does not include soap although, as you saw, all other bath and bed linen was supplied. We've been exploring ways to address the soap issue.

Thank you. Can't do much about the dated interior; the goal is to provide a pleasant vacation for our guests. Having said that, the other concerns presented are legitimate ones. But our future guests should know that we have 1. continuous extermination through a contractor 2. The welcome packet clearly contains an offer for guests to arrange towels ahead of time or bring their own 3. The contractor did identify the washer problem as having sand in the mechanism despite our constant request that guests do not wash sand filled garments. At yet another service cost, the washer now works. 4. While we make it clear in our agreement that we are not responsible when things like weather or other factors disturb the Direct tv signal, we still arranged for a technician to contact our guests to address the problem. Although these unexpected events occur beyond our anticipation, we promptly attempt to address them as soon as notified.

Michael, Can't tell you how glad we are that you had such a great time. Monitoring trends in interior decor is an integral part of our hospitality goals. We'll also make sure the other features remain of excellent quality. Please consider coming back! Bernie
