Perfect Family Getaway

This condo had the perfect location and everything we needed for our family of 4. You can hop on the elevator right across from the unit and go down to the parking garage which will lead you to the pool and the beach. The pool was heated which was lovely in March! Thanks for a great stay and he hope to come back soon

Girls Trip

This was an amazing property to stay at! The pool area was incredible and perfect for our toddler. The accommodations were spacious and we had plenty of room. We loved it!

Perfect Getaway

We were very happy with our condo in Palmetto Dunes. Great location, excellent weather, and beautiful sunrise views went a long way towards erasing a cold and rainy early spring in Ohio. The Vacation Club was very easy to deal with and everyone was so nice.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay. The first floor unit was easy to access and still had a nice beach view. We love the location in Palmetto Dunes with short walk to beach and General Store. Some minor updates needed -- such as cleaning blinds, repairing cracked glass at front door, and low water pressure of primary bath shower head.

Great location but getting "tired"

There's a lot to like about this property. It's a great location with an ocean view...good parking, solid mattresses, nice pool and hot tub. But the unit is getting a bit "tired" with the furniture and rugs ready for an upgrade/cleaning. There were also a few minor maintenance problems (BR sink wouldn't drain; overhead lights failing occasionally...).

Great Location!

We enjoyed our stay and loved the location of this property. We have 4 young children so the proximity to the pool, elevator and beach was really wonderful. The property is adequate but could use some updating, particularly the bathrooms. The master bath shower was incredibly small and the water pressure was very poor. The main bathroom tub was not operable because the shower stopper was stuck in the up position but we adapted and used the large tub in the master bath for bathing our children. The kitchen is stocked with adequate dishes, utensils, etc. Overall, we would stay in this property again and would recommend!

Perfect location!

The location on the property was perfect, had a beach view and deer visiting in the evenings. The space was large and great for a family of 4. The overall cleanliness was not very good. It seemed to have been quickly wiped down leaving hair and debri behind, as well as, dead bugs randomly around. There could have been a bit more available in the kitchen as far as basic cooking supplies such as salt and pepper and more trash bags. Overall we had a great stay!

Nice condo

Needs a little TLC. Left window leaks rain water over sill, floor and end table. Bathrooms need paint touch up around new towel holders. Right faucet in primary bathroom needs tightening. Appliances were good along with tvs.

Good location, needs updating

The condo being on the 1st floor is very convenient to the parking lot, pool and getting to and from the beach. The condo layout work well, especially with children; they're on one side of the condo while the master is on the other. The main living area was comfortable with plenty of furniture and just about all that you would need. The couch in the living room is a sleeper sofa so really could sleep another 2 people. The kitchen could use some updating, and the kitchen was not well appointed, as there wasn’t a sufficient amount of pots, pans, plates, utensils and definitely no sharp knives. There also was quite the fruit fly invasion; they were all over the kitchen. Right next to the kitchen is the A/C intake vent which was covered with black soot and dirt and the handle to what I imagine is the A/C unit closet was off and lying on the kitchen counter. The master bedroom was comfortable, the bed was nice but it would have been better if there were curtains to block out the early morning sun. The entire condo has blinds but they diffuse the sunlight rather than block it or keep the room darker. If you’re not an early riser bring a sleep mask. The master bathroom was dated and in need of updating, and the shower was terrible. Soap scum all over the shower walls and door and the shower itself is very small. We ended up using the guest shower since it was cleaner and larger. The guest bedroom was dark at night with only one small lamp in the room and no other lighting. Definitely could use lights on the ceiling fan or another lamp, but again in the morning no blinds to keep the room darker so the kids were up bright and early with the sun. The guest bathroom was the main bathroom we used for the size of the shower and cleanliness, but again there were other things. The countertop in the bathroom had a red stain, the back of the bathroom door had a hole in it from where the door stopper had broken through and the cabinets had plenty of scratches or peeling paint. The WIFI in the condo was horrible, it had to be reset several times and even when it was working if you had too many devices hooked to it or trying to use it at the same time everyone’s device froze. I know I’m on vacation but streaming issues and bad reception is not excusable and definitely needs to be improved. Reliable WIFI is a must in today’s world. Overall we had a wonderful time; great beach and complex, will return to Palmetto Dunes next year, but new condo.

Nice family vacation

We love Hilton Head and enjoyed our stay here. The condo was equipped with everything we needed. Even though you have to go down stairs/elevator, it’s still very close to the beach and pool. Also super convenient to shops, restaurants & grocery stores.

Great Location-Spacious-Beautiful View

Loved the location of this condo- our family had a wonderful first visit to HHI. Condo was spacious and convenient for our family if 4 including a 22 and 19 year old. Wonderful beach view! Condo had everything we needed and appliances were great. We just needed some USB ports to charge our phones - very minor but bring the charger with the plug too. We rented bikes for the week and got baskets for them - definitely a must to ride on the beach and everywhere. We also spent the day at the Omni which is close by - we got a resort pass to use all the pools - we also had a nice spa treatment there too. My son took golf lessons a couple days at Robert Trent - very close by and l loved it too. Overall super condo, location and vacation! The checkin and out was so easy and the rental company was incredible with communication.

Everything we expected and more

A large, spacious and well-kept condominium in Palmetto Dunes. Great views of the ocean with the crashing waves to help put you to sleep. Great pool area for all (kids pool too!). White sandy beaches just steps away and if you are up amazing sunrises. Condominium is well appointed and large enough for your family to have separate areas. We loved our stay!

Everything was good during my stay. The only problem was the checkout time. There was a miscommunication about the day to leave and I got locked out of my condo. I did talk with someone who was very helpful but by the time I was able to contact her, I had already left the unit.
