Villa Le Pré Fleuri is nestled in the picturesque Alpino area deriving its name from the meadows that once comprised the surroundings. The villa is perched on a sloping garden on the way towards Mottarone, offering beautiful views of Lake Maggiore among old trees. The home has undergone a significant transformation to meet the needs of modern living while preserving the traditionally decorated façade. It has recently been featured in Casa Facile design magazine and will be available for vacation rentals for the first time this summer.
The open interior offers a spacious living area on the ground floor, featuring a double-height entrance that provides access to the kitchen, dining room, and living areas. The custom kitchen is designed for cooking and enjoying local ingredients, equipped with a top of the line Miele appliances. Three French doors frame the view and lead to an expansive decked terrace. A grand, gas fireplace anchors the living area and can be enjoyed throughout the ground floor. There is a mud room and shower on the ground floor as well. The neutral-colored walls and furnishings create a striking contrast against the warm wood flooring and exposed wooden beams that extend throughout the house creating a calm and welcoming design.
A bespoke, metal and wood staircase connects all three levels of the building.
The first floor is composed of three spacious bedrooms, two of which are en-suite. A third family bathroom is located off the landing. This level boasts abundant natural light streaming through the expansive windows along the roofline, creating a seamless integration with the surrounding nature.
The lower level offers a sleeping area with a private patio, bathroom en-suite and laundry room equipped with a washer and dryer.
Le Pré Fleuri represents a remarkable transformation of a historical villa into a contemporary property. Through a harmonious blend of architectural enhancements, strategic interior redesign, bespoke furniture, and the preservation of historical elements, come and enjoy the unique living experience.

We have been hosting international students for years while we lived in Boston, and found the experience rewarding. In 2015 we set out looking for a property in Italy that we could enjoy on weekends and holidays, plus use as a vacation rental to offset some of the costs of a second home. Italy was an important place for us, seen as it is where we got married and studied here at one point. Since then we decided to move here to raise our children, in part because of the family-oriented culture and the natural surroundings, both of which are important to us.

Perched at an elevation of 720m, it offers breathtaking views over Lake Maggiore en route to the majestic Mottarone peak at 1,491m. Boasting a prime location overlooking Lake Maggiore, the Alpino area is renowned for its stunning landscapes and grand villas, originally built in the early 20th century as leisurely retreats for the aristocracy and upper bourgeoisie.
