We paid for a 2bd 2 ba apartment for 2 adults and 2 children. We were visiting our grandkids and they were going to stay with us. The apartment was as listed and we spent 3 nights there with no issue. On the 4th night we woke to bubbling sounds coming from the bathrooms and when we woke in the morning the toilets and showers were backed up. As a homeowner we understand that plumbing issues can happen to anyone, at anytime. But from there there was little communication as to when we could get back in to the unit or if we would need to stay somewhere else. By 6 pm we went back to the unit and it was a mess so we went and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned it. Then got a message to move to another unit later that night. The unit was 1bd and 1 bath so our grandkids had to go home, which they were the reason for our visit from Hawaii. And then the fridge in this unit didn’t have a light inside and didn’t keep our groceries cool so we had to throw them out. At the least we should be given a refund of the difference in accommodations.
