Amazing atmosphere

This stay was two nights the second day we didn't even leave the area it has everything you need for just a relaxing stay with it being attached to the restaurant pool area.The best was the cleanliness it smelled amazing as soon as you walked in the Halls. The king size bed is a amazing compliment the bed feels to mold with your body. I absolutely loved the shower although for a taller person it might have been more difficult. We opted to do takeout and eat on the balcony that faces the marina I definitely recommend for a romantic evening. Larry was a great host he even offered us additional nights at a lower cost because of the cancellation we would have loved to stay but had to get back home to the kids. Great place for a mini vacay thank you.

Fun in the sun

We had a wonderful time in Sarasota. Our condo was super clean and enhanced our annual visit. We will be back.

Beautiful sunsets

Ignoring the marina damage from the hurricane, this an excellent location to sit on the balcony, listen to the music from the tiki bar and relax with a favorite beverage. Suggestion for future is to supply dish soap and dish cloth and towel. The price was right for this location.

Great value and close to the beaches

This is a great alternative to paying a premium to being on the beach. The unit has recently been update so everything inside was clean and new. The view of marina was nice and you're only 15-20 minutes away from the beach. The lobby and common areas at the Ramada are a bit dated but they're in the process of renovating them due to damage from hurricane Helene. The upside is all that will be new once done including the fitness area, lobby, etc.

A visit to Anna Maria Island

We booked this spot as a way to check out Anna Maria island for the first time. The room was clean and cozy with a pretty view of the marina. It was pretty far from island but was still doable. If visiting this area I would recommend this condo

Great deal!

Nice quiet room with a marina view. The tikibar and restaurant are great. Right by Anna Maria Oyster Bar and just a short drive to everything else. Cool spot.

Pleasant stay

Everyone is super nice. Excellent communication from the host. Super nice place with microwave, fridge, and an electric stove. Driving distance to all the nice places and beaches Sarasota offers.

A room with an excellent view!

I had a lovely week staying here, its so refreshing to be water-side 24/7 with a great balcony to take in the breeze right outside the room. Everything was perfect, the room was immaculate, the location could not be better, the onsite bar/restaurant with a full menu is great (and they have live music on the wknds), and the host is the absolute best! This place met my needs 100% and then some. I will definitely be staying again!

Was a nice stay!

The facility is an older structure but looks like they are continuously updating and maintaining. Landscaping was well maintained, and the outdoor saltwater pool was exceptionally clean. Staff was great and the food at the Tiki Bar was surprisingly good!. My wife and I will more than likely return.

Larry's condo/hotel room

The condo/hotel room is as described and has a beautiful view of the marina. It was really cool to see and hear the planes coming in/going out of the airport - not noisy at night - no worries!

Great stay

Right by the airport, so if you're a light sleeper and don't want to wake up at 6 it might be an issue. We didn't mind though and enjoyed watching the planes from the balcony. Kitchennete with full size fridge, pots and pans, plates, silverware, etc. was very convenient. Short drive to downtown Sarasota. No issues, very relaxing trip

Great view, bathroom could use real door instead of barn door concept. We stayed 10 days no cleaning service or extra sheets and towels. Only three towels . Breakfast only for hotel guests ten dollars each for others. Great experience

Beautiful View

We had a great time. The condo was clean and inviting. The bed was very comfortable. Literally spent hours on the patio watching boats, birds and fish jumping. The pool is nice. The tiki bar on the premises has great food and music and bingo nights without being too disruptive. If you like to walk, exit out the tiki bar parking lot, head toward the ocean and enjoy the gorgeous houses and landscaping, For golfers, we enjoyed River Run and IMG. Baseball fans, the Orioles and Pirates spring training stadiums are 1/2 hr away and Atlanta's is a little farther. The planes do come right over the property and frequency varies from day to day but things always quieted down in the evening. We enjoyed watching them. Take a trip to Siesta Beach - best sand anywhere. Any questions, call Larry. He is easy to talk to and very accommodating.

Harbor Condo Room

Protected access to building and room was nice. Room was clean but a little more "bare-bones" than I expected, but photos on VRBO site are accurate. I would like to have had one reasonably comfortable chair in the room. Only places to sit and eat were in the bed, on a backless stool in front of TV, or on the small deck outside the room. I would not recommend this room for an elderly couple because of lack of seating. While I was out most days, there were times when the air traffic leaving the airport was loud. Thankfully, it was not a problem at night. Overall location was good; close to shopping and eating places. Ramada location was a little hard to spot at night, but I became familiar with nearby signage that helped when I returned each day. Tamiami Trail, Highway 41, is busy, but the traffic lights are coordinated well so that getting in or out of the Ramada parking lot is not a problem even during rush hours. View outside the rooms on the side of the condo away from the highway was highlight of the location. Very pretty in early morning and at nighttime. Unlike VRBO homes I've used, this room did not include dishwasher or oven, so I did not fix meals in room and did not use plates, glasses, etc. because I wasn't sure how to clean them adequately. All in all, the room was OK and reasonably priced, but had my wife been with me, she would have been disappointed.

Great stay

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great location. Was easy to get to everywhere we needed. Bed was super comfy. Great view on the water. Kitchenette was great, only wished there was a toaster.

Horrible Experience

The room was nothing like a "condo on the water" as advertised. The bed was extremely hard, there was no chair to set in, no extra bedding, bathroom extremely small and no extra towels. The regular hotel room at the Ramada was much nicer and more comfortable than the VRBO room rented. The breakfast was not free to VRBO guest. After all the expenses of booking with VRBO and additional fees it cost more to rent the room than a renting the normal hotel room. I come home from my stay hurting in my back and have to go to the Dr!!!

I moved to Florida in 2018 from the Chicago Suburban Area to enjoy the Florida lifestyle and fantastic weather. YOU DON'T HAVE TO SHOVEL SUNSHINE!!! Since moving here I have been liquidating my rental properties in Illinois and replacing them with rental properties in the Sarasota - Bradenton area. The Sarasota Ramada Condo Hotel Room is my latest acquisition. This was a total renovation project where everything is new. Even the drywall has been replaced. This is one of the nicest VRBO Condo Hotel Rooms at the Sarasota Ramada and certainly offers unsurpassed water views. I do all my renovation projects to the standards and quality I would want for my own residence, so I know every renter will enjoy their stay.

I selected the Sarasota Ramada Condo Hotel because of the beautiful westerly view of the water and proximity to Sarasota Airport and great Gulf Beaches.

The interior finishes are all high end, and the King Bed is like sleeping on a cloud. Your own private balcony with Bistro Table is the perfect place for morning coffee or sunset cocktails.
