The condo was great! Comfortable, clean, and easy access to the pool. What was misleading about the listing was the beach access. Guest staying at the villages are not allowed to use the beach at the end of Blue Lupine way. It’s a private beach. We had to walk another .6 miles down the beach with our 3 small children to a public beach.

Guests may access the shoreline through the nearby boardwalk, although the designated private beach area is not available for setup and use by Village guests. Great place turned disaster

When staying at a place anywhere on 30a you expect to get the best service and at the very least, the rental listing to show an accurate description of the property and amenities. The first issue we ran into was the WiFi. One of the individuals with us had to work while on our trip and we had no WiFi the entire time. The initial login information did not work. The property manager came out and told us the homeowner changed it and they were trying to get the new information. We never heard anything back giving us access. The second and much bigger issue was the beach access. With the new rules on beach access in South Walton being enforced we knew we needed to rent something with private beach access to avoid the overly crowded public accesses. This listing stated they had deeded beach access. THAT IS A COMPLETE LIE! Once you finally find the beach access, you will be denied beach access except to literally walk down their boardwalk to walk onto the sand. You are not permitted to bring anything or sit on the beaches at all at that access point. This was a HUGE inconvenience. So please know, if you rent this condo you will not have private beach access and will be on the beach with hundreds of others and no view of the water. And even at the public beach access there is very limited space to actually place your things so you will likely have to rent chairs to be allowed to sit like we had to. And to top it off, this rental agency will do nothing for you.

Thank you for your feedback. I apologize that your stay with us fell short of expectations. We here at Southern strive to make every guest's stay as pleasant as possible. I do see that you called in to report the WIFI issue to our 24/7 Guest Services Team. We do sincerely apologize for that, the Wi-Fi information was changed and not yet updated in our system. The issue has since been resolved and information updated in the portal. Regarding the beach access, the information on the listing states that this unit has access to the boardwalk and water but not access to set up on the beach with chairs. We do apologize for any confusion, and we are getting with our operations team to get this updated and exact for our guests to avoid future confusion. I hope you could provide us the opportunity to regain your patronage with Southern Vacation Rentals. We look forward to hosting you again in the future here on the Gulf Coast. Thank you.
