PRIVATE LUXURY LAKEFRONT LODGE--BREATHTAKING VIEW-- HOT TUB & PRIVATE BOAT DOCK At The Great Trout Lodge, you will find peace, tranquility, fun, relaxation and one of the best views of Lake Taneycomo anywhere! This home is conveniently located only 5 minutes to the nearest restaurants and major stores and less than 10 minutes from downtown Branson and the Branson Landing! It is also only 15 minutes away from the new Buffalo Ridge championship golf course and World renowned Top of the Rock championship golf course. This home sits just 15 ft away from the shoreline of Taneycomo Lake. YES, you can fish from your back yard!! There is a brand new top of the line Hot Springs hot tub to soak in and relax and enjoy the beautiful view! The massive living area is truly a masterpiece! There are 20 ft ceilings with beautiful exposed full log beams, a wall of windows with gorgeous views of the lake, wood and natural coral stone floors, a floor to ceiling natural coral stone wood burning fireplace, a large flat screen tv, quality and comfortable chairs and couches with beautiful accent pieces all around. Hanging from the ceiling, you will notice a custom made, solid wood canoe that adorns the entire living area. The separate dining space has a custom made handcrafted natural tree trunk glass table with leather seating. Just outside the living area is a relaxing sunroom with a bar and stools. You will also find many LCD TV's throughout the home to watch your favorite movies or shows or shows when the sun sets or late in the evening. The kitchen is one of a kind! It is furnished with quality custom cabinetry, granite countertops, high-end stainless appliances, top of the line Viking gas stove with stainless vent hood, a deep-seated hammered copper farm sink, and a custom carved wood bar that sets the tone! the chandelier is also a beautiful piece of art that hangs above the incredible kitchen area. Inside the home, you will find 5 beautifully appointed bedrooms. The main king master is enormous with two huge closets, full log exposed beams throughout, private two stories tall stone coral fire place. Dual sinks with huge granite vanity, a large corner tub, custom stained glass window, and a customer river stone shower and walkway! The other main level king master bedroom overlooks the beautiful lake through the large windows has vaulted ceiling with solid log beams and has a full bath just right outside the bedroom door. Upstairs you will find another king bedroom with more space then ever and quality furnishings. walk across the catwalk and you will encompass a King master bedroom with a full bath attached. Just off the garage is a small bonus room with 2 twin beds and a queen bed--this room will sleep 4 children. The half bathroom is located on the main level. Outside you will step into your own private oasis! You will find huge towering oaks and sycamore trees canopying over the beautiful patio with firepit, top of the line propane grill, outdoor dining table and a brand new Hot Springs Hot Tub. The lake is so close to your backyard patio, you can practically fish off of it! Taneycomo lake is known for one of the best trout fishing lakes in the region. Flowing through the heart of Branson, Lake Taneycomo is the most diverse fishing lake in the country, sporting world-class rainbow and brown trout as well as bass, crappie, and blue gill angling. But it's most for its trout fishing. The current brown trout Missouri state record was caught on Lake Taneycomo on November 12, 2009. The enormous brown trout weighed 28 pounds, 8 ozs!! It was 37 inches long with a girth of 24.75 inches. So come stay with us and try your luck to hook the next State record trout fly fishing or gentle trolling.

This property is exactly like the pictures and so much more! We all had such a great time taking in the views and enjoying all the house had to offer! The Christmas decorations everywhere made the house so inviting and warm! We will definitely stay at this amazing house again! The owners checking on us while we were there to make sure everything was perfect was simply above and beyond!

Our family had a "cousin's reunion" at the property in Sept. 2025. The house was clean and well laid out. There are several places for small groups to gather and chat. We hung out for four days and fished, rented a boat from Lillie's that pulled up to the dock, and grilled and ate all our meals in the backyard. Great time. Great host.

Perfect place for my family of 16 to stay. The house had everything we needed. Location was close to everything. Decor was beautiful. The hosts were so accommodating. She had it decorated for the 4th of July. My family lived sitting by the fire pit at night. 10/10 recommend this place.

Amazing Location

Location is beautiful and convenient to everything we wanted to do in Branson. We fished off the dock and hired a trout guide one morning who picked us up at the dock. So convenient! Owners and property manager were quick to respond to any questions or issues we had. Overall very comfortable stay and private backyard while being close to activities in Branson.

Couples Retreat

Long weekend trip for our couple friend group, we enjoyed the house so much. It was a beautiful house and decorated so cute for Christmas. It was perfect for 4 couples and the pictures did not do it justice. It has anything and everything you could possible need to enjoy your stay.

This was by far the best stay we’ve ever had at a VRBO. I can’t recommend this house enough, for large families there is something for everyone from games, kayaks, fishing, ect…. The house is beautiful, clean and a great location!!!

An enchanting oasis

A beautifully maintained and rustic cabin, nestled on the shores of lake Taneycomo,with breathtaking views and is a tastefully decorated Paradise. Definitely recommend for a relaxing weekend of sanctuary!!! Five stars.

Just book it! A fabulous home and property. The owners though of everything. It is impeccably decorated, extremely clean and all in all a perfect home. There is nothing to be changed and nothing that could be improved. The patio with the hot tub and fire pit were perfect. The dock is a fishers paradise. There is no season this home wouldn't be perfect.I can only imagine what it looks like when the trees are turning or a good snowfall, and cool water in the summer. Like I said, just book it! You won't regret it!!!

Awesome place

The property is well kept and maintained. It is provided with everything we needed; linens, towels, bicycles, kayakers, board games, etc. the location is superb right on the river, which gets foggy often (hence the name of the street). This phenomenon added more beauty and serenity. Will definitely come back again.

Fall Retreat

Amazing beauty tucked in the Ozarks. We have utilized many VRBO's over the past 15 years this is top notch. The pictures on line are beautiful in person the place and setting are stunning. We fished everyday from the dock or kayaks and caught many trout. The house amenities were plentiful and there is much to do indoors and out...Will definitely be back for another visit.

Perfect Family Escape!

This is a fantastic home for a family get together. We had six adults and three children (9, 7 and 2). We had more than enough space. In fact, didn't use one whole bedroom or the bunk room. The space has every amenity one could want, plus activities galore - fishing, kayaking, billiards, table tennis, foosball, air hockey, table games, bicycling. Check-in was super easy and the host checked in on us via text during our stay to make sure there were no issues. 100% recommend The Great Trout Lodge!

We came to Branson 47 years ago for our Honeymoon. We stayed at a little resort called "Sammy Lane Resort" on Lake Taneycomo right were the Landing Shopping Plaza is now. My Husband has been coming to Branson since he was a child trout fishing with his father. We loved this area and continued to come here on vacations. We raised our family of 4 children (3 boys and 1 girl) and continued the tradition of vacationing in Branson. We have stayed in resorts, motor homes, nightly rentals, etc. in this area over the years. We are blessed to be able to now have this home to bring our family to as well as share with others. As you can see by our photo, we now have grown our family to 8 children (including our in-laws) with 9 wonderful grandchildren. A very special time for our family is the Christmas season in Branson. It is truly magical.

We would love for you to choose to stay with us and hope you can create as many happy memories as we have over these many years.
