Could have had more outdoor furniture, there were only 2 chairs on the patio for a place that slept 5 people. No games or cards of any sort. I’ve never stayed somewhere that didn’t provide at least a deck of cards.

Great remote location away from it all. Community pool on the lake was nice. We enjoyed our stay.

It was in remote area and we had to drive 30 miles to buy groceries. Then was missing basics like extra paper towels. Dishwasher was broken. Nice unit comfortable, though road to it was gravel. Not many restaurants so we grilled out every night and had to buy everything. Was not expecting it to be so isolated. Fall Creek Falls area was good drive away. The roads were very narrow and winding with lots of switch backs, not used to that at all. Beautiful area in mountains.

Long weekend in September

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed for 3 nights in September 2014. Unit was in excellent condition, and had no trouble with the tv or wifi. The stove was a little challenging, as it was missing 2 of the knobs to work the burners. Beautiful modern kitchen, but there were a few inconveniences. No toaster, only small 4 cup coffee pot, only 1 dish towel. Also would have preferred access to W/D for a unit at this price point. Limited bath towels and washcloths for 3 night stay with no W/D as well. The weather was hot and muggy but the pool was still too cold for swimming... to the point of being icy and uncomfortable. The lake was much warmer than the pool. My husband was there for the fishing. We caught numerous blue gill and he caught several 1-2lb bass, he never found the big ones. Our kids loved the playgrounds and the lakeside areas. The pavilions were very clean and spacious. The roads are all gravel and we were fine in our minivan. A compact car would be challenging in this setting. Overall a nice trip and would consider again.

Good location. No amenities as advertised.

Pros: good location; nice building with large rooms; ample bathrooms Cons: huge sign and caution tape stating “no condo renters allowed at lakes docks pools “. So you and your family members can not use the amenities which they show pictures of. Which is false advertising; upon arrival there was no paper with the wifi password. No cell reception. No house phone. No way to call in case there is an emergency. No way to contact the property manager; standing water in dishwasher and would not drain; TV required an app to be downloaded to use, impossible with no cell reception and no wifi password. Wifi password was in email, however, zero cell reception; all counters had a layer of dust; old popcorn was all under the couch and in the couch cushions; no oven mitts; only 2 kitchen towels; no car hang tags even though they explicitly state we need them or we get towed; Being lied to about the amenities is a huge issue. Especially when you have 3 children who were told they can swim. I work in the rental industry and the cleanliness was subpar. They also state AFTER you have paid for the room, that they will not refund for any reason to include the amenities not being available.

Rachel, As we discussed when you called, the amenities are available to rental guests but we are currently in a dispute with the POA and they put up those signs. I am sorry that you were told otherwise which is why I refunded your amenities fee as we agreed. I hope you will check back with us again in the future when this issue is resolved. As for the cleanliness, I appreciate your feedback very much and will speak to our staff. We take pride in our very good reviews about cleanliness typically and anything less is unacceptable. I hope you will give us another chance in the future. Lisa

Nice Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you want a nice quiet getaway from it all this is the place. Unit was very nice and cleanProperty Management was very polite and helpful. We had no cable, the remote was taken by a previous tenant nd the staff was nice but unable to get a new remote during our stay. The TV was a smart TV so we were able to watch movies. The negative is the pool has been closed for years, there is no equestrian center where you can ride horses, the general store is closed, and the roads are unpaved and very rough. And you have to drive to get to the pier, it is not walking distance from the unit. So if you enjoy fishing, riding kayaks, hiking, playing tennis or soccer this is the place. The state park is nearby with many activities and excellent food.

Great Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our experience was great. We did although run into a little problem with our access code getting into the condo the first time. I called Cliff and he was able to talk me through the process and we were able to enter under a different pass code. Once we got inside the condo was very clean and the amenities were great. The only thing we noticed it didn't have was a DVD player to watch movies in the evenings. Fall Creek Falls is only 15 minutes away. We stayed on a overcast weekend so we had a couple hours to play some volleyball. I would recommend this location to anyone. I would stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our condo was perfect. Ground floor. Waking up in the morning we saw the lake. Being from Arizona, we are not used to the foliage and greenery. It was amazing. We loved how secluded it was. We were 10 minutes from Fall Creek Falls State Park. What an amazing place. Hiking, zip-lining, and swimming.

Decent stay in Spencer

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was extremely remote! As in no decent store or restaurant for 30min. Parking wasn’t explained ahead of time so that would have been nice to know. Dead bugs all over, smelled really musty, hair and dirty rims on toilets. Bed linens had an odor. Needs better lighting for sure inside and along staircase outside. Should be noted that this is a lower level (basement) condo also. TV couldn’t be figured out. And on floor plan it lists a separate dining room and solarium...they weren’t separate and that was disappointing. You can hear everything neighbors are doing above you. Kept us up. Plenty of towels which was good. Nice big closets. Loved the patio with ceiling fan.

Great weekend getaway!

This condo and property was very nice. Great place to unwind! Only thing that wasn’t as expected was the property owner association and this condo ownership is in a legal battle regarding the amenities (pool, and recreational areas). Signs were posted that these areas are not for condo renters. Owner of condo told us to feel free to use these amenities and let anyone asking know to call the condo owners to discuss. Condo advertised with these amenities, but felt like we were doing something wrong by using them.

All the comforts of home surrounded by peace and natural beauty

Well built, comfortable condo unit with all necessary supplies for the weekend. Beds extremely comfortable. Peaceful even with other occupants in building. Great firepit setting with plenty of firewood. Beautiful natural setting. No broom or dishwasher detergent though. No network TV but other options good. Directions clear for door access code, but not for gate code. Good proximity to Fall Creek Falls State Park. Perfect for a peaceful getaway!

Weekend getaway

A friend and I stayed here as a weekend get away. It was very spacious and clean. We each had our own room and full bath. It was very quite . Even though the other units were occupied we never heard any sounds from the other units. The kitchen appliances were very nice. Each room had excellent views. The unit is a very short driving distance from the park. There is very limited cellular service. We could occasionally receive or send a text in the park lot. Honestly, I did not see that as a negative. It was very nice to disconnect for a few days.
