Echo Hill - cabin close to Hocking Hills, privacy, comfortable and NEW HOT TUB!

Our recently remodeled cabin, Echo Hill, backs up to a wooded hillside where wildlife, nature and starry nights can be enjoyed from the very private patio complete with a hot tub, firepit, outside dining and deck. Plenty of room with 3 bedrooms (1 king and 2 queen beds), 2 full bathrooms, laundry, large/well equipped kitchen and lots of living space. Easy access to the natural wonders and outdoor adventures this stunning region has to offer.

Ideal setting for family getaway, couples retreat or anyone looking for true rest and relaxation in a secluded environment surrounded by nature and wildlife. Our cabin is a hidden gem conveniently located close to the heart of Hocking Hills, wineries, kayaking, hiking, waterfalls, breweries, shopping, fishing and antiquing!

One floor living except for three steps at the entry. You will find all you need for extreme comfort and entertaining from the living room complete with a 65" smart TV, a mini-library and assortment of games & puzzles that opens to the kitchen and dining area to the spa-like bathroom in the primary bedroom suite.

The well-equipped kitchen is the heart of the cabin with an oversized center island perfect for gathering around during meal prep or dining. The kitchen also offers a full-size refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, sink, stove/oven and microwave. A coffee and tea bar are provided for your use as well. Dining table seats six and we also provide you with a portable highchair and additional booster seat for the little ones.

Deck & patio off the kitchen is perfect for grilling and a great place for your morning coffee. The covered front porch is another tranquil spot to enjoy the surrounding views.

A laundry room is available for guests with an iron, ironing board, washer and dryer.

BEDROOM 1:
Primary suite offers a king size bed, desk, reading chair, dresser, 50" smart TV, large and luxurious private bathroom with double bowl vanity, soaking tub, step-in shower and a clothing rack.

BEDROOM 2:
Queen size bed, 43" smart TV, closet with shelving.

BEDROOM 3:
Queen size bed, closet with shelving.

The bedroom layout offers the primary suite at one end of the home and the additional bedrooms at the opposite end.

OUTDOOR SPACE:
Expansive backyard entertaining space illuminated by patio lights create a warm and inviting atmosphere featuring a six person hot tub, deck, charcoal grill, patio, outdoor dining table and a fire-pit with additional seating. This area is very private and a great spot for viewing wildlife. The hot tub is especially nice after a day of hiking.

FRONT PORCH:
Comfortable patio furniture can be enjoyed on the covered front porch, a perfect place to enjoy each other's company, conversation or morning coffee.

SEASONS & LOCATION:
This area is beautiful year-round but especially in the summer and fall. The autumn colors that appear usually in October are spell binding. You’ll be close to Hocking Hills, hiking, fishing, canoeing, shopping, dining, wineries, breweries, Logan, Athens, Zaleski State Forest, Moonville Tunnel and more. Our cabin is about 10–15-minute drive to many Hocking Hills attractions and only 40 minutes to Athens and Ohio University so it is a great place to stay while visiting your college kids.

GENERAL:
Central air & heating, towels/linens, pillows/blankets, washer/dryer, hair dryer, iron & board, hot tub towels, starter pack of paper towels, toilet paper, trash can liners, starter pack of K-cups & tea bags, creamer and sweetener. Shampoo/conditioner and body wash provided. FREE high speed WIFI throughout. Our cabin is not wheelchair accessible at the entry however there are no stairs inside with all one floor living. Small library and games for your use during your stay. All TVs are Samsung smart TVs, and you will need to log in and out of your streaming service as there is no cable service here. There are hundreds of Samsung TV channels automatically available.

KITCHEN:
Cooking basics, dinnerware, bakeware, silverware, glassware, mugs, pots/pans, microwave, stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, slow cooker, family size electric griddle, toaster, hand mixer, electric kettle. There is a Keurig coffee maker that can brew K-cups or coffee grounds for a full pot (bring your own coffee grounds, #4 filters and additional K-cups if desired), highchair seat and separate booster seat as well as dinnerware and cups for the little ones.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?
We provide linens, bath towels, hot tub towels, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, dish soap and a starter pack of the following: K-cups, powdered cream & sweetener, tea, toilet paper, paper towels and trash can liners. You will want to bring the following:

~Bug & tick spray (it is the woods so be prepared)
~Flashlight
~Ground coffee and #4 filters if you like drip coffee
~K-cups if you prefer coffee by the cup
~Groceries
~Pam or cooking spray, vegetable oil, olive oil
~Additional toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, foil and baggies
~Bottled water if you do not prefer well water from the tap (that is filtered)
~ Laundry detergent if using washer/dryer
~Charcoal and lighter for grill
~Bundle of firewood if using the firepit. Firewood on premises is not for guest use
~Your personal technology chargers (plenty of outlets and USB ports available throughout)
~Log-in information for your preferred streaming services
~Pack n play, bed rails, etc.
~Bluetooth speaker
~ Beach towels if you prefer that after hot tubbing

We have tried to think of all the things you would enjoy when you stay at our cabin. Comfort is a big priority, and we were picky selecting mattresses and furniture. We hope you consider us when you plan your next visit to Hocking Hills.

Guest access:
You will be able to access the entire home, deck, patio, hot tub, porch and the lawn behind and in front of the cabin. There is no access to the adjacent property east of the tree line.
