Lake Berkley har været vores foretrukne sted at bo mens du besøger Florida i 4 år, før vi købte! Vi kunne lide det så meget, at vi besluttede at købe et hjem i samfundet!

Lake Berkley er bekvemt beliggende lige ved Hwy 192, tæt på mange større restauranter, Starbucks og den bedste del ... det er inden for gåafstand fra en 24-timers Walmart SuperStore (varer og dagligvarer!).

Det tager kun ca. 12 til 15 minutter at nå Disney.

Samfundet er indhegnet med en vagt 24 timer i døgnet.

På grund af den antikke karakter af disse spil kan jeg ikke love, at alle fungerer, når du besøger. Jeg får dem til service regelmæssigt, men gæster har en tendens til at fastklemme møntmekanismerne. Så tag dette i betragtning.

Spring Break

The property was wonderful! Everything you would need and more was provided. We came prepared with some of our own things but they weren’t needed. Every kind of coffee maker was there for however you brew. Alan and Alicia were always available when we contacted them about minor issues and they were resolved quickly. When I saw the Beekman goat milk soap in the bathrooms I knew this was going to be great stay! We will definitely book here again if in the area.

Lovely!

Everything was lovely. The house was clean and decorated well. We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the large TV's in the family room and the main bedroom. All amenities that we needed was provided. Host was great, he responded to my calls and request right away. We will definitely look forward to staying here again.

Nice property, had a great time!

Our family had a group trip for the first time ever. So happy we stayed here instead of a hotel. Highly recommend it. Enjoyed the pool. Property is clean and quiet. Host is easy to communicate with & very hospitable.

Needs TLC

The property is in a nice location but it needs to be renovated. The furniture had stains and wasn’t clean, the shoes had dirty black molding stuff. There were dead flies on the floor in the kitchen. The Linen in the master bedroom as stained. There was no cable as stated and the arcade equipment didn’t work. I think the owner needs to have better management of his property since he is out of the country. He was nice but I was disappointed with the accommodations.

Needs some TLC

I stayed here with my family for a little over a week, and here are our observations. There are more negatives unfortunately then positives, and hopefully this place gets the TLC it needs. Positives: -mostly clean - nice kitchen and kitchen equipment -owner was responsive to questions before and during stay Negatives that aren't maintenance related: -This is the only vacation house we have stayed over the past 10 years that has not had any sort of "home instruction manual" like most other homes have that give you basic instructions for neighborhood rules, pool instructions, garbage day instructions, instructions on how to use appliances like the modern washing machine, what different wall switches are for, check out procedures , etc. -neighborhood is very loud and unruly at night and and not nearly as well regulated by the resort as far as rule breaking neighbors like vacation house resorts such as Emerald Island is in comparison Negatives that are maintenance related: -front door lock is about to go kaput. It took us 5 minutes to open and lock the door because the key barely fits the lock. Also when we first arrived, the door was unlocked. -Refrigerator ice maker filter needs replaced so therefor water and ice maker was not working - None of the games in the game room work anymore. (which is the advertised selling point of this house) . We went to turn them on , and some of them turned on but were not functional and also the Star wars game looks like someone had been fiddling with the electronic panel and had exposed wires. -the toilet in the 2nd bathroom is coming off it's seal , and was leaking from the bottom when we first arrived until when we left -beds are getting worn out and are sunk in a lot in certain places -pool needs a thorough cleaning -HUGE area of screen panel completely missing from lanai. This allows all sorts of debris and critters to come in to the pool area and is big enough for a bird like a crane to walk/fly into and get trapped inside. -pool screen door knob broken off I hope the owner pays the place a visit before more guests arrive to take note action on the numerous maintenance issues that prevalent. -

We arrived on August 7th 2019 and it was like 5;45 a.m. in the morning, and everything was just fine with checking into the property. The place where we stayed was very clean, nice and our stay was excellent. We would book again when we come back to Florida.

A bit of a hiccup with the cleaning company when we first arrived but the owner was very prompt on getting another company over very fast. Would stay here again.

Great Location but not very clean

I stayed here with my family and friends in July and was not very impressed with the cleanliness of the house. When we checked in, the bathrooms were not clean. The screen around the pool was ripped and in general the pool deck area was dirty and not well taken care of. I contacted Alan regarding this and he said he would contact someone to take care of it but I don't think that ever happened. We had a cockroach in the kitchen one night and a dead snake in a pail by the pool that someone thought to leave!!

Très agréable séjour

Nous avons passé une dizaine de jours à Lake Berkley dans la maison d'Alan (2 adultes, 2 enfants et 1 bébé). La maison est conforme aux photos : grande, pratique, confortable, la piscine est très sympa. Il faut compter 10 min à pieds pour rejoindre la piscine de la community. J'ai été un peu déçue par cette piscine où il y avait souvent du monde, ce n'était pas toujours très calme (du coup, j'allais nager à l'ouverture à 8h). Nous n'avons pas essayé la salle de fitness qui semblait agréable : jamais beaucoup de monde et bien équipée. Le lac de la community est très agréable et l'aire de jeux pour enfant est très chouette. A noter que l'on peut aussi utiliser l'aire de jeux (couverte) qui est vers l'entrée, du côté de Hapimag. La maison se trouve tout près en voiture d'un grand Walmart et d'un Aldi. A pieds, il faut compter 25 min pour y aller. C'est vraiment très pratique pour faire ses courses à un prix raisonnable. Un vrai plus ! Les points très positifs : la community est tranquille, bien située, la piscine de la maison bien entretenue et en ce mois de juillet, l'eau est à une température très agréable, et il y a des jeux d'eau pour les enfants, les appareils ménagers très pratiques, le linge de maison en grande quantité, présence d'une glacière, parasol, sièges. Pour notre bébé, nous avions un lit parapluie. La maison est vraiment spacieuse et confortable. Alan a été très réactif par mail lors de notre réservation. Les petits points négatifs : le ménage n'avait pas été bien fait avant notre arrivée (on a retrouvé des céréales sous et le long du canapé....embêtant avec un jeune bébé qui se promène au sol !), le bbq était sale. Je n'avais pas compris qu'il faudrait mettre des pièces pour faire fonctionner les jeux d'arcade dans le garage : je pensais naïvement que l'utilisation serait gratuite... Les deux canapés de la maison sont vraiment vieux, mais c'est un détail. Le petit coin pour manger près de la piscine n'est pas très pratique. Pour finir, penser à bien lire les instructions envoyées par Alan avant votre arrivée. Cela facilitera votre entrée dans la maison (il y a deux codes, un pour avoir la clé, puis un pour l'alarme). Pour nous, cela restera un très bon séjour ! On a hâte de retourner à Kissimmee.

Great Location, Great Home, Great Host.

I went to Orlando on my honeymoon. Was looking for a property that was close to all the theme parks and that I could relax in at the end of the day. I came across this house and I contacted the property and almost immediately Alan responded to me. Since this was my first time using a service like this, Alan helped me through everything. The instructions for the house were easy to follow and the house overall was very nice. The bed was very comfortable and the pool was very warm. The house is perfect if you're planning on going to any of the parks. On any given day, Disney was about 15-20 minutes from the parking lot and Universal was 20-30 based on traffic. I enjoyed the stainless steel appliances and the nice counter tops since I enjoy cooking and being in the kitchen. The arcade was also very nice and I enjoyed most of the games. Only downside is, it gets kind of hot in the garage. Overall my first experience using this site and staying at a house was a success. I would recommend anyone who is coming to the Orlando area to strongly consider this home. You get to stay in a very nice and well kept home, and also have the reassurance of having an awesome host who will answer any question or problem you may have. Thanks again Alan for a great stay and I hope to be back again one day.

Incredible home with best location and amenities

Stayed for 2 weeks in mid April 2018 and was blown away by the property and the surroundings. The home 4 beds 2 baths was perfect to fit 2 families and not feel cramped. 2 living rooms provided lots of space to get away and with Sat TV / Wifi, we always felt entertained. The pool (opted for heated and so glad we did) was perfect. Used everyday, it was large enough to swim or lounge and was great for our family. Mesh covered to not worry about bugs! The home is in a gated community so we felt super safe, property was well maintained and the surrounding park was perfect for our 3 year old. There is a Walmart 3 minutes away that is open 24h and has everything you could possibly need. The home has everything you could possibly think of - coffee maker, waffle maker, dishwasher, laundry, fridge with icemaker, TVs in all 4 bedrooms. But the true gem of this place is it's location - best restaurants 5 minutes away, shopping - both malls and outlets 10-15 minutes away, Disney 15 minutes away. No matter where we went, we always felt like it was close enough to get there and back with no trouble and the area itself is so easy to get around with. Driveway fit 2 large cars easily and security at the gate was always friendly. As a family we've decided to make this a yearly trip as it was great from start to finish. The owner was more than accommodating and you could tell he takes pride in the property he has. The garage arcade was such a bonus too for our little one to play. We will definitely stay again and are still thinking back on our trip weeks later!

Great location, easy access to EVERYTHING!

Thank you Alan for lending us your home. While I think we only used a 1/3 of it, it had everything we were looking for. Easy access to just about everywhere. Comforts of home and then some. Rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. Instructions were easy to follow and understand. No issues with anything! We will be back again. Thank you!

Spacious, super comfy beds, clean, close to everything,

My family of 5 from Iowa picked this privately gated property because of the location. We were absolutely pleasantly surprised by the spacious, well-stocked kitchen and comfy clean bedrooms. Alan was very responsive and made everything effortless. Would stay again for sure!!

Wheres my money?

A week later our deposit is still not returned, have asked owner on several different communication platforms to give our deposit back. Owner has not responded.

Loved the pool

The home is well-equipped with cleaning products,dishwasher tabs, salt and pepper etc There was a bin in the garage with sand toys, Beach umbrella and one chair. Came in handy when we went to the Gulf of Mexico. Master bedroom bed is soft and the other King size mattress is firm. Went twice to the community pool or as the kids called the big pool. The temperature was very warm and also had hot tub. The house pool is shaded which was great for our pale skin. Around the pool has a table with four chairs, two loungers and two padded chairs that reclined. The home was also equipped with a Bluetooth water resistant speaker. My complaints would be home was missing the GSP and the cleaning staff could have done a better job on the floors and bathrooms.Overall our first family trip to Florida was great and felt very safe at Lake Berkeley Resort

We rented in the Lake Berkley Resort for 4 years before making the plunge and purchasing our home. We love Lake Berkley! It's clean, safe and the gate is guarded 24 hours a day!
We are 12 minutes away from Disney. Of course, having Starbucks nearby is a plus.
Seaworld is about 15 to 17 minutes away,
Universal is about 20 to 25 away and the gulf coast is about 90 minutes away.
The Atlantic coast and the Kennedy Space Center are about 45 minutes away.

Plenty of great restaurants close by!

Our favourite place to dine is about 20 minutes away but the Cheesecake Factory is worth the drive!! Plan to share or you won't make it to dessert.

Our home is almost 2000sq ft!
Pleanty of space for 2 families without the stress of a closed space.
The private pool is the perfect place to unwind after a day at the parks!
Our garage has been converted to a games room featuring classic 80's arcade games!!! Finally you can teach the kids a thing or two about video games or Pinball.
The gas BBQ is a great way to have a nice meal together as a family at the end of a busy day. Plus, the Vitamix blender invites you to blend up a nice cool drink anytime you like!
