Immerse yourself in the beauty and tranquility of Mexico Beach at this beautiful, newly remodeled cottage in the Waterside Village Neighborhood just across the street from the powdery white sand and clear ocean water. This 3 bedroom/ 2.5 bath home known as The Salty Seagull, is located on the canal with a boat dock and perfect fishing spot! Enjoy the sunsets while sitting on one of our 3 balconies with a beautiful canal view in the back. The kids (and adults too) are sure to be entertained with the board and card games or the beach toys and equipment left for you to use. No need to pack beach toys or towels! Neighborhood pool is a short walk down the dock. Our cleaner spends hours cleaning and sanitizing prior to your stay. Ozone air purifier is used between each stay to ensure a safe, healthy trip for you!

LIVING AREAS

Curl up on either of the full size sofas surrounding the 55' TV to watch a movie or relax after a day in the sun.

KITCHEN & DINING

Enjoy making family meals in the fully stocked kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances and helpful gadgets including a coffee maker (pot or pods) and a toaster. When dinner is ready, gather around the dining table with seating for 6 or have a seat at the kitchen island on the 4 barstools.

BEDROOMS

This home sleeps up to eight guests between the 3 bedrooms. This home has 1 king, 1 queen and 2 full size beds upstairs. The bedroom mattresses and quilts were just updated for a good nights sleep.

EXTRA AMENITIES

Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer & dryer and hair dryers in each full bathroom. Driveway parking available for 1 vehicle and garage parking available for 1 additional vehicle. Unfortunately, there is no trailer parking available, ask for recommendations. A plethora of beach/pool toys, fishing poles, beach tent and beach chairs are available for you to enjoy in the garage! You will also have access to our community pool and hot tub.

SAFETY

We are in a quiet area with a gated entry with pass code only. Our exterior cameras are on and recording at each exit to monitor for wildlife and any unwanted activity.

THE LOCATION

This property boasts a prime location just a short walk to local restaurants, food trucks and shopping.

Wonderful Vacation home

The property was just as described in the pictures and so nice! It was super clean and we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back to stay at the Starfish Cottage! Easy access to the home and the beach. Also communication was great with Kristin.

Perfect get away stay

This house is beautiful with the perfect location. It's close to the beach, shops,& restaurants. Nice balconies on both sides of house.

Beautiful Condo with dock

We had a perfect week at The Salty Seagull! The location was ideal — just a short walk to the beach and access to a dock, which was great for our boat. The condo was super clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved that it came with beach gear — chairs, toys, an umbrella, and even a wagon — so we didn’t have to pack all of that ourselves. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. It was a relaxing, stress-free vacation. Definitely a 5-star experience — we’d love to stay again!

A great experience!

Kristin was awesome and responsive, the check in process went smoothly and was super easy! The house is beautiful and the location is perfect! We loved the access to a pool and the dock in the back! Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely book with her again!

Spring Break Stay

We had a great time on our trip. The house was perfect for us. The beach was across the street and the pool was just down the deck. The house was well stocked with everything you need. We espcially appreciated the fishing poles and the beach accessories. It was our first visit to Mexico Beach but won't be our last. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place!

We stayed at this property for a long weekend and had a great time! We brought our boat for a fishing trip and the canal access was perfect. The property was clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. We will definitely be back!

Amazing hosts and house!

This was a perfect vacation home for our family! Right when we walked in, it smelled and was sooo clean. The bedrooms were spacious and accommodated our family. We asked the host about locating the wagon and the same day, we had a new one delivered to the house as the previous tenants mentioned it was broken. Every question was addressed quickly and I can’t say enough amazing things. The pool was perfect for small children and we loved having the docks for exploring. Would highly recommend!

Amazing house in great location!

We enjoyed our stay at the salty seagull so much! The house itself is top notch and has a great layout. The back deck was loads of fun for our kiddos! The location to the beach is just across the street, a very easy walk with children. The pool was just a short walk away as well and perfect for kids! The home is well stocked with essentials. Cooking large meals was easy in the well stocked kitchen. Having all the beach toys, chairs, towels and a wagon were amazing perks! No need to pack any of that! We enjoyed dinner from the Point Break pizza food truck which is within walking distance as well. Perfect home in a perfect location!

Best Vacation Ever

We had the most amazing stay at the Salty Seagull! I cannot say enough fabulous things about the home or the owners! The home is in the perfect location close to the beach, pool, restaurants, and shopping. The home is extremely spacious and had so many extras included to use (beach wagon, fishing poles, goggles, etc.). This trip was by far the most relaxing we've had. Mexico Beach was gorgeous and never crowded during our stay. We drove a few miles down the road to Port St. Joe to eat a few times (the only times we got in our vehicles). We had superb service everywhere we went as well! The owners were so great and responded to any questions we had immediately! They went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time! We cannot WAIT to go back again!

Beautiful Home- Concerning Communication

A group of 7 other ladies joined me here for my bachelorette trip. The location is great; canal views on one side, ocean across the street on the other side, close walk to the pool or ocean, & a quick drive to Port St Joe. The house has all the chairs, toys, tents, umbrellas, & wagon you could need for the beach. We did message the seller shortly after arriving because the house was hot, & we had found some cleaning issues to include feces.. yes, feces, on the couch & couch pillows. Owner responded about the AC, but ignored the literal feces on the couch. We offered to send photos for their cleaners knowledge, & it was ignored. The appliances were filthy, floors were covered in debris & my feet were black from walking around within 10 minutes. Cheerios were found under the coffee table.. we didn't bring cheerios. I put a throw pillow on the floor from the master bedroom & when making the bed the next morning, it was covered in black dog hair. While the beds were clean, towels were clean, the rest hadn't been touched. We said we didn't want a refund on cleaning, just wanted to pass the info along for their cleaners so they knew where to improve, but we were ignored each time we mentioned anything to do with cleanliness. Also, some bedroom doors don't close without being slammed, and you have to slam all balcony doors very hard for them to latch. Keep this in mind for sleeping kids or light sleepers.

We purchased this home after coming to Mexico beach and falling in live with the area. We purchased our first home in Mexico Beach, Starfish Cottage, and decided to purchase this one just a few years later 2 doors down!

This home is located in a safe neighborhood just 100 yards from the beach. Having quick access to the ocean and the canal suits both fishermen and beach bums alike!
