Welcome to our new home in Payson, AZ. It's a very clean and cozy home that seats in a nice almost 3 acre lot. There’s plenty of room to play. It is a perfect place to get away from the summer heat. During the winter it has nice hills to play when there’s snow. Sometimes if you’re lucky deer or elk will visit you right in the property. Minutes away from the shops, restaurants, hiking, fishing and other activities. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and second bedroom has a bunkbed with queen at the bottom and twin sized mattress on top and a roll away bed on the bottom. The cabin has one bathroom with a tub and shower. It has a spacious closet with washer and dryer. We have board games, cornhole in the garage and a packman game located in the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen has brand new appliances and has everything you need to make a meal for your family. The kitchen opens up into the living room where you will find a comfortable couch and a smart TV. It has an arcadia door that opens up to the backyard and give lots of natural lights.. The backyard has a serene view of the big trees and hills. This is a go to place to relax and recharge.

Our second stay here. Check in was easy. Our host was easy to contact. The home was spotless and a great size for two of us. Will definitely stay again.

Great play to stay for a weekend, we wish we could’ve stayed longer & enjoyed the backyard (forest). We will definitely be staying here again when the time comes.

The house was easy to access and was clean. The lock on the front door was new and had some problems, but the owners responded right away and were able to open the door remotely.One suggestion is dark curtains. The house was bright in the morning and woke the kids up.

Perfect little place!

We love this place.. it’s hidden away. It looks like a brand new build and if not, it was updated really well! It was soo clean! We have family in the area soo it was perfect! If we can, will be staying here whenever we visit again!!

Cozy and comfy

We stayed here over a holiday weekend and it was perfect for our needs. A family of 4 can stay here comfortably! They had plenty of extra blankets. The kitchen was great had a coffee maker and pots and pans. The Christmas tree was so cute and the hosts were reachable and communicative! Definitely a 5 star place!

The perfect VRBO!

This is probably one of the nicest rental units we have stayed in and we have been doing this for five years.. The unit is very new with great modern decor, VERY clean, excellent bed. Nice views in a secluded neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac.The host is very pleasant and helpful.The driveway is perfect for playing Smashball, which we like.I can't think of anything negative to say except for the stools in the kitchen which are hard and uncomfortable. I mentioned this to the host and suspect he will have changed them by the time you read this.This property earns our highest possible recommendation.

What's not to love?

A clean, modern guest house with a private patio surrounded by ponderosa pines. Owners were super responsive to a question during our stay. As a couple in our 70's, our only request is to add a grab bar in the shower for safety. We can't wait to come back; our only fear is that you'll stay booked up with these excellent reviews. Oh well, it is a really nice place!!

Great getaway

This house was perfect for our family (2 adults, a 7 year old, twin 3 year olds). The location was great, in a very nice neighborhood that was quiet and nice to walk around and explore. The house was very clean and they had all the amenities we needed. Close to nearby food and stores, no complaints at all with this place. Everything felt new and exceeded our initial expectations. We also really appreciated having a garage to park in during our stay. We plan to come back in the future for sure!

Perfect, Serene Home Away From Home

Our stay at the Bee Hive was enjoyable and truly exceeded our expectations. The location is in a quiet and private neighborhood. The outside patio and front seating area were great for enjoying the weather and saw plenty of elk, javelinas, coyotes, and birds. The inside has everything you need and more to feel right at home. The owners are genuine people and truly care about providing a great stay. It is clean and very comfortable; all the amenities of a new home. It is just a couple minutes to Payson. The Bee Hive is a happy place and would recommend it to anyone.

Great place to stay and fun hiking town.

House was clean, good ac, and host had fun boardgames. Easy to access. Well lit at night and the beds were cozy. A few downsides were all the tables ( inside and out) only sat four people. We were a group of 5. There is no dishwasher which is not a necessity but having a dishwashing stand would have been handy. We had 3 kids with us. Having some plastic cups and plates available would be a helpful addition to ease a mom's constant worry her kid might drop something. Other additional suggestions would be a bath mat for exiting the shower safely, a non see through clear shower curtain (as there is only one bathroom), a pen and note pad, clock in master bedroom, and ziplock bags. Overall great place!

This place was very nice and one of the cleanest rentals that we have ever stayed in. The neighborhood was very quiet and nice. We even saw elk crossing in the backyard one night.

This stay was ideal for us and the owner was readily available for questions. The property has top notch appliances and was comfortable and quiet. We saw deer one morning, cooked on the grill and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great place for a getaway!

This is a very nice house on a quiet, beautiful property! It has all modern amenities in a rural setting. But, still close to town if you need something. House and property are very well kept. They supply the essentials and everything works as it should. Host supplied necessary information ahead of time and we had zero issues. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone! We will probably try to stay here again, in the future. Thank you for providing us a great weekend escape from the phoenix heat!

4th of July

We had a great holiday weekend on the pines. The house is obviously new. Plenty of room. The mattress was very comfy. Loved the kitchen island. The house is close to the 260 so you do hear the road noise if your outside but it wasn't a big deal. Only critique would be if you're planning to cook at the rental instead of going out to eat you need to bring everything with you. No blender, hand mixer, crockpot etc. A shade umbrella for the outdoor table would've been nice as the patio is on the south side. Minor inconvenience. We would certainly stay here again

We are from the Valley, we enjoy outdoors and connecting with nature. So we bought a place in Payson where we can enjoy the beautiful weather. We decided to put our guesthouse for short term rental for others to enjoy the outdoor and a much more beautiful weather.
