Historic Pioneer Cabin

About this space
This is an 1800s original ranch house that has been modified to include modern amenities.

It has two beds and one bath. The kitchen features apartment sized appliances and is stocked with basic items you need. This unit includes a washer and dryer mainly because we know people come to our area to explore and get dirty!

We have finally finished renovating the cabin and are working on the yard.

The Cabin is centrally located to ATV trails, Monroe Paragliding, Hot Springs, Hunting and fishing
The space
The cabin is located on a 30-acre working alfalfa farm. The 30-acre farm and cabin is part of a larger farm and cattle operation. The cabin has been decorated with many items we found on the property, including animal traps and Native American drums and rugs. Antique lanterns have been modified with bulbs and light up the porch. Each guest is gifted beef tallow soap and shampoo bars made on the larger farm.

For the last thirty years, the cabin and surrounding buildings have been used in Native American ceremonies. A sweat lodge is located just behind the cabin. Sweat lodges are typically used as a method for cleansing and purifying the body. It is also a place to connect with the Creator, Nature, and restore order and balance in life.
Guest access
The guests have access to the cabin and immediate surrounding yard.
Other things to note
Although the front yard is not finished, we have completed the side yard area, where you can relax and use the BBQ.
