Looking for a unique and luxurious Kauai getaway with incredible views, a pool, and air conditioning? Would you like something that feels private and secluded yet close to some of Kauai's most amazing beaches? Escape to this bluff estate overlooking Anini Beach and Kalihiwai Bay! If you are not familiar with this part of the North Shore, Anini Beach is a long stretch of sandy beach that is reef protected and great for kids, Kalihiwai Bay is a 10 minute walk from the house to Kalihiwai River access where you can wade or paddle board to the bay. Kalihiwai River is excellent for paddling up the river to the falls. Come enjoy the less crowded, beautiful beaches in Kilauea.

Venture up the private drive and discover Hale 'O Lalani, situated on 1.7 acres atop a bluff overlooking Anini beach and Kalihiwai Bay providing incredible views to the blue Pacific and the lush green Kalihiwai Valley. The home boasts 2400 sq. ft of living space with views from almost every room in the home. The primary suite has newly installed A/C and is located on one side of the house and has ocean views from bed and bath. On the other side of the home is a media room with apple tv, a queen bedroom and a double twin bedroom that share a full bathroom. All of the bedrooms feature premium bedding and pillows. There is a great flow to the house with a large great room with views off both sides of the house. Large, fully stocked kitchen for home cooked meals. Formal dining area opens out to the back lanai with a Weber gas grill and expansive private yard. On the lower level is a workspace with printer and high speed internet, a secondary living area with tv, queen bed, and 3rd bathroom. From the lower lanai it’s just a few steps to the inviting pool.

This exceptional home comes with beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, stand up paddle boards, snorkel gear, beach umbrellas, a cooler, and flotation devices for guests to enjoy.

Fantastic views. Great layout of the house for a family. Large seating area in the livining room and big dining room table for dinner and playing games. The kitchen had everything a cook would want. We made an awesome Christmas day feast. Great location near Anini Beach. One heads up don't rent a mini van it will not make it up the driveway at least not loaded with luggage and 5 people. We would definitely stay here again. So serene and peaceful with outstanding views. Such a lovely home.

Amazing House Near Princeville

They have tons of beach and pool gear that you can use in the garage. Nice view of the ocean in front and the mountians behind.Management was very helpful and responsive.The driveway is very steep and has a tight turn--a little tough to get up unless you rent a Jeep. Not quite walking distance from the beach so you will need to drive to go anywhere.My only complaint about the layout of the house was there was no TV in the main living room.

Property managers are very responsive. The driveway is very steep and the ladies were too afraid to drive up but the guys were able to and there is sufficient space at the top to back park and u-turn. They had all sorts of kitchen appliances even rice cooker. Location was also convenient. Very close to Anini Beach, Common Ground, Avalon, and other nice spots and not far from Hanalei and Princeville. The only thing that drove me crazy was all the roosters cockadoodling from 4am but that seems to be across the whole island.I would definitely stay here again.

The house is as beautiful as the photos show with unbelievable views. The location was perfect for our family and made beach days or quick trips to Hanalei super easy. This was our third time staying in this general area and this was our favorite property. The rooms had individual air units keeping rooms nice and cool. The property manager was very helpful and quick to reach out with timely communication. Highly recommended!

Wonderful scenic relaxation destination

The view is spectacular, mountain valley at the back and ocean view from the front. Driving into the property felt like an entrance to Jurassic park. And the location is just so perfect, right near one of the best beaches and vacation town. The property itself is awesome too; linens are clean, equipments and supplies plentiful (I can go on and on)

A beautiful place to stay in the North Shore

It sits high on a hill and when you open up your windows at night, you can still hear waves crashing and see the surf on along the beach. But if you turn around and look at the yard, you can see the beautiful inland valleys of Kauai. The house is well appointed with lots of great beach toys. We took the standup paddleboard out to explore the Hanalei river.

Perfect North Shore House

We considered a number of alternative houses but the reviews for this house really jumped out at us as being genuine and sincere. This house was great. Plenty of space to spread out. The views and ambiance from both the front side of the house and the back were really cool. Ocean and mountain (rainforest) views. The house has an amazing cross breeze with side walls that essentially open as windows allowing for ocean breeze and sounds of the rainforest to enter. The landscaping and property grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The pool was a great size for our 3 children to enjoy. We found the location ideal for the north shore with proximity to Hanalei, Princeville and Kilauea. Great beaches just down the road. House included everything our entire group could need for going to the beach, numerous towels, 8 beach chairs, 3 umbrellas, snorkels, flippers, goggles, 3 boogie boards, 1 surf board, 1 paddle board. The house has been very well thought out. Interior design was great. Kitchen appliances were high end and excellent. Jason was extremely attentive if needed and is a great host. We felt lucky to stay here. Lucky to find such a great house. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous views on all sides!

The home is on an absolutely gorgeous lot. The back of the house faces the ocean with views from every window. The front of the house has a beautiful lawn where you can sit and look at the amazing Kauai “Jurassic Park” mountains. The home has everything you need. High end appliances, serving platters, nice cooking ware, and a nice dining room off of the kitchen. My husband and I took our 3 adult children, two significant others and a best friend. Everyone had a nice bedroom and we all enjoyed the common spaces. We had a few minor issues but Jason (the real estate manager) was very responsive and helpful. We were there in late June and it was very warm and humid, therefore it was warm and humid in the house. Read carefully, only 3 of the bedrooms have air conditioning. Because of the lack of air-conditioning, the lower bedroom and all of the common spaces were very warm. On a cooler time of year, it would be fine. Additionally, the driveway is really scary. It is not just steep, but it has a very sharp turn ¾ of the way up and our suv had a very hard time navigating it. We had two rental vehicles, and the sedan actually handled it better. Although we are all over 21, we would only let certain drivers handle it because it was dangerous. The details from the management company describe the best way to tackle driving up, please follow them carefully. However, having the crazy driveway is what provides for the amazing views from the home. It is in a great location and very close t

Perfect!!

Our family had such an amazing stay at this gorgeous property! I don’t even think the photos do it justice! It’s much more impressive live, with a serenity and comfort you hope for on a vacation like this. We hated to leave! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a selection of local baked goods along with coffee and creamers for the next morning! All we needed before going to the store the next morning, which was conveniently right down the road. Justins hospitality was thoughtful, extremely accomodating and responsive. The house was easy to get to and ideally located just a few minutes from Hanalei and Princeville We actually saw most of the island while there and nothing was far. It was also a quick walk down to the gorgeous Anini Beach and the River. The beds were VERY comfortable (something we are picky about). The kitchen was perfectly stocked with EVERY appliance, utensil and dish imaginable (we actually had a Top Chef cooking contest amongst our teens/adult kids and lacked nothing)! They had coolers, backpacks, floaties, towels and everything we needed for our day trips even! There was plenty of room for our family to sprawl out for alone time and come together for games and cooking. The bedrooms and other rooms are layed out perfectly for everyone to have privacy and space from eachother when wanted, even plenty of room to sprawl around the property. Gorgeous views from both the front (ocean) and back(mountains and waterfalls) of the property! Perfect!

Paradise in Paradise

This house was amazing. Who needs a TV when you can sit back and watch the amazing view from one of the most comfortable couches anywhere. You truly feel like you on are on your own mountainside with no one to bother you for miles. The house is very well stocked, all the beds were very comfortable, and the outside hot showers were a huge added bonus after all our adventures. We had seven women sharing the space and we could all comfortably hang together in the living room and had plenty of space to call our own when we needed some down time. It was really nice having extra space outside to park 3 cars for all of us and easy to get in and out down the driveway. The house had prime location to get to everything and situated so nicely with the ocean in front of us and the mountains behind us. Truly a wonderful house, and even greeted with a delicious pastry box from our wonderful hosts. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect island break - with an incredible view!

We enjoyed drinks on the veranda while counting whales, cooking dinners in the chef inspired kitchen, and walking down the hill to a little surf break blessed with little rollers. The house was exactly what we needed and expected. We had a little electrical glitch in the master, but manager on the spot had it fixed in an hour or so. We will visit again.

The best VRBO of all time

Staying at this Vrbo property in Kauai was a dream come true. On one side, the house offers breathtaking views of the lush mountainside, and on the other, the serene expanse of the ocean. The four bedrooms were perfect for our family, providing both comfort and privacy. Plus, the beautiful pool was the cherry on top of our unforgettable vacation. We'll cherish this paradise escape forever.

Great house. Perfect for two families.

We loved our time and the property met our expectations. The location was amazing with really great views. The landscaping wasn’t quite maintained (minor things like lawn and dead palm branches) and there was some construction next door, but overall our stay was very nice. The extra equipment in the garage was a really nice bonus. The beds were comfortable and the house was in good shape overall as far as rentals go.

Beautiful Oasis

We stayed here for a week to celebrate my father's 80th birthday. It was a special event and we wanted to book just the right place, knowing my dad would want to spend a lot of time at the house. The views are absolutely stunning - the best on the island. The house was perfectly maintained with all the provisions we needed. We hired a chef to come cook one night and she had no problems cooking a multi course meal for 6 people in the open floorplan kitchen. This house was really spectacular. As everyone said, the driveway is steep and has a tight right turn as you go up, but we had a jeep so there were no issues. As of early May they have begun construction for a house nextdoor, which does cause some noise. And then towards the end of our week little things began to breakdown - the internet stopped working (we couldn't get it fixed but the property managers were very responsive and tried to problem solve as best they could), the clothes drier stopped working, and the coffee maker started giving us trouble. None of these were big troubles for us but maybe worth noting if you plan for a longer stay. Any of the above were far outweighed by the expansiveness of both the property and the views. It really made our trip as perfect as we could have imagined.

Host was wonderful and very helpful. Generously reimbursed us for fans we bought. As people who live in intense heat ironically were soft in terms of desire for AC. Master bedroom with unit. Remainder home open windows, most screened. Warm late day (was high 70’s our week, little rain) but in morning wonderful (in fact more comfortable than bedroom). Driveway up a fun adventure, best with good traction. Pool is pretty private and perfect temperature. Construction adjacent minimal impact. Great beds. Would for sure stay again in on Kauai.

Fantastic home near Kalihiwai Beach.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazingly peaceful vacation in Kauai last month, and this house was the perfect place to camp out. The location is centrally located on the North Shore in the perfect location for our needs. The property was very private on the top of a hill with a great little pool in front. The house was very nice compared to other places we have rented on the North Shore. Amenities were great. very comfy beds and sofas, fast internet with AppleTVs for movies at night (after star gazing... unbelievable), and every kitchen appliance we needed including blender, espresso machine, waffle maker, etc. Everything we needed to feel like home.

The driveway is super steep and scary at first, but becomes and adventure . Worth it when you get up. Perfectly appointed everything . Lots of room. Highly recommended. The only comment would be more comfy outdoor furniture to enjoy the views more. It’s ok but inexpensive and not comfortable. Thai scale of house deserves better .
