What some guests may not love:
-The pool is not heated, so it will be active from Mid-May to Mid-late september (dependent on weather) every year. Trust me, you dont want to use it the rest of the year anyways!
- Please be advised that due to the proximity of nearby trees, there may be a daily occurrence of leaves in the pool. We appreciate your understanding and assure you that our team will make regular efforts to maintain the pool's cleanliness.

Our house comfortably sleeps 6 with 1 king bed in the master, 1 queen bed in the second room and 2 twins in the 3rd. You can sleep a 7th person on the couch if you wish to do so!

Complimentary WiFi, live TV and coffee. The kitchen comes fully loaded with stainless steel appliances such as a microwave, fridge, stove and dishwasher along with glasses, mugs, dishes and cutlery.

You will have access to the entire place during your stay!

We do not live by the property but have plenty of ways to help during your stay if needed. We have tried to make your stay as seamless as possible to make things easier for both parties.

*Cancellations* Please keep in mind that we do stick to the cancellation policy on our listing and we do not make exceptions. This includes for family emergencies, contract changes, travel delays etc (anything that is out of our control as the host). We strongly recommend getting travel insurance if you have concerns with this, as it is not expensive and provides you peace of mind.

We had another wonderful stay at this VRBO and would absolutely recommend it! This was our second summer staying here while visiting family in the South Bend area, and it has been a fantastic experience both times.Communication with the host was excellent from beginning to end. They were responsive, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure our family's needs were met.The pool was the perfect place to cool off on those hot summer afternoons and quickly became everyone's favorite spot. We also loved the large dining room table, which comfortably accommodated our family dinners of 10 people, allowing us to enjoy meals and time together without feeling crowded.The location is another huge plus. It's conveniently situated for quick drives to shopping, great restaurants, and the University of Notre Dame, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.

The location of this home was ideal for visiting nearby family. The neighborhood is safe and clean. The home itself was well decorated, cozy and comfy. The hosts were very communicative throughout our booking process and stay. The kitchen has VERY basic accommodations. There weren't any serving spoons, for example, but there was a sufficient amount of regular silverware. We got permission to host our family for a gathering one of the days of our stay, we just had to pay a little extra for that. We hoped to use the swimming pool, but even though it's August and the air temp outside was HOT, the water was COLD. The pool doesn't get a lot of direct sun, I suppose that's why. We had 1 child in our group and HE didn't mind the temp. The only real complaint that I have is that the yard is very unkept. The grass had not been cut in quite some time, and there are overgrown weeds everywhere. It's such a beautiful property with a lot of potential. Seeing as this home has an inground pool, and that being a highlight, I would have liked to see them put more effort into keeping up with the outdoor space. Overall, our stay was pleasant.

Notre Dame Weekend (Soccer & Football)

We really enjoyed the property and the property managers were great to work with. The family time, playing card games, grilling out and watching football was perfect for everyone that came into town. I would recommend and use this house again!!

The purpose of our vacation to South Bend, Indiana was to enjoy time with our extended family. The accommodations were PERFECT! The dining room table comfortably fit 10 which was perfect for family dinners and game night. The pool, while unheated, was absolutely REFRESHING on 90 days and we used it daily! The check in procedures were communicated days in advance and provided step by step directions. The hosts were easily accessible via text message. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Overall good experience

The house was very pretty and fit our needs. The only disappointment was the pool upon arrival, which was not suitable for swimming. The property owner and manager worked to resolve the situation which we appreciated. Overall we had a good experience.

Staycation

Very nice interior. Only downfall was when we show up to start our stay. We got to the house 30 minutes after we had access to the house, the cleaner, we think, was still there for another 25 min. Other than that was a nice big backyard. All the rooms had a nice cozy feeling to it. And loved the color of the kitchen cabinets. Other than the arrival, it was an amazing stay.

Beautiful and cozy

We loved staying here, it was perfect for our family of 5. Having a kitchen when we travel is critical due to severe food allergies. This home met all of our needs from the well-appointed kitchen to the ample washer and dryer. Beds were comfortable, everything was spotless, and the decor was peaceful. The home is even prettier in person than online. We really enjoyed the sunroom on the snowy winter mornings. Best of all, this home’s location was close to everything. We visited family, the Farmer’s Market, and Notre Dame. The neighborhood is pedestrian friendly, so if the weather is nice, you can run/walk to a number of destinations nearby. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit.

Very comfortable house and furnishings with a huge pool! Finally a house that delivered all we were looking for. Comfy beds and furniture. The house is super close to stores, shopping and restaurants. A visit to the S.B. farmers market is a must. The pool is not heated but we hit on very hot days and the water was perfect. The pool was crystal clear and clean. All bedrooms nicely appointed, but all upstairs so if you are unstable on your feet as I am, go slow on the stairs. A bit slick but there is a handrail and bannister to hang on to. The fenced in yard for the pups was the cherry on top and one of the main reasons we chose this house. We were very satisfied and recommend this house.
