Property Description Beautiful, fully furnished, mid-century open-layout house in North Beacon Hill with 2BR, 1BA, a fireplace, and a large private deck with mountain views. The light rail is just two blocks away with quick access to downtown Seattle, Capitol Hill, the University District, and SeaTac Airport. A grocery store, brewery, coffee shops, restaurants, and a public library are all within 5-minutes walking distance. The El Centro Plaza is one block away and has a community center, food stalls, and many cultural events. For bike enthusiasts, trails and bicycle lanes abound for accessing all areas of the city and beyond. This home, location, and community/cultural setting offer a truly unique opportunity to enjoy all that Seattle has to offer.
LIVING AREA You get the entire top floor of the house, including a large back deck, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and ample closet space. The mid-century, open layout includes hardwood floors, large windows with abundant natural light, a fireplace, a modern and spacious kitchen, dining area, living room, and a large, secluded back deck with views of the Rainier Valley and Cascade mountains. The property owner occupies a separate unit in the basement, which has its own separate back entrance and living space.
LOCATION The light rail is just two blocks away with quick access to downtown Seattle, Capitol Hill, the University District, and SeaTac Airport. A grocery store, brewery, coffee shops, restaurants, and public library are all within 5-minutes walking distance. The El Centro Plaza is less than one block away and has a community center, food stalls, and many cultural events. For bike enthusiasts, trails and bicycle lanes abound for accessing all areas of the city and beyond. Planning to drive? THINGS TO NOTE The house is sometimes in the SeaTac flight path so there can be moderate airplane noise. Car traffic can occasionally be heard from 17th, but the windows are well insulated and when closed cut out 90% of noise from outside. Reserved street parking is available for one car in front of the house. Currently the second bedroom is set up as an office for two, but we are open to reconfiguring to allow for two separate bedrooms.
