We loved our stay at this property! The view was amazing and the place had everything we needed! Also, we really liked the resort! It is one of our favorites we stayed at so far. We would definitely stay here again!

To be honest the property was clean and picked up but we did notice cockroaches on the balcony of the property. Now we did notice see them inside of the room but outside we did. Just had uneasy feelings when seen.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear the property was clean and well picked up for your stay. What you noticed on the balcony were common palmetto bugs, which are very common in the South, especially along the coastal regions. Our warm, humid climate tends to attract all kinds of wildlife and pests, and while they are certainly not invited on anyone’s beach trip, they can occasionally be seen outdoors. We appreciate you letting us know and will notify pest control so they can give some extra attention to the exterior of the property. We hope the rest of your stay was comfortable and that you’ll visit us again soon.

Perfect holiday getaway

This condo and resort were perfect and will probably be our go to anytime we come back to Pensacola Beach! The property was clean and we weren’t too far from really anything!

Loved the balcony, the condo & the resort. Property management co. was easy to get in touch with, quick to respond & friendly. Condo was clean & beautifully decorated. Would've left a 5 star review if mattresses were more comfortable. We'd definitley stay here again.

Portofino trip 2024

Portofino never disappoints. The property is beautiful, convenient to restaurants, and close to the beach. Our view was beautiful and the condo was gorgeous. It was so tastefully decorated which made our trip very enjoyable.

Loved Condo and Gulf View

Condo was very clean, beautifully decorated and awesome Gulf View. Kitchen was equipped with everything needed to cook and plenty of bathroom linens. Beds were very comfortable. Will definitely stay again. Property management was very communicative making sure we were enjoying our stay.

Excellent unit for a small family. If you are taking two, adult couples, you will find the guest room to be very tight. The living room and kitchen are large, spacious, and the unit is beautifully decorated. You will need to bring your own spices, extra paper towels, extra trash bags, extra sponges, laundry detergent if you plan on using the kitchen/laundry for more than two days. The cushions on the outdoor furniture are beginning to mold and the chairs are a little wobbly, which is the only reason I did not give the unit 5 stars. With respect to check-in, I have stayed at Portofino many times and this is the first time I've had to scan my ID at check-in through a tablet and enter a credit card for even MORE fees, including a "check in" fee (75) that I saw today. I have zero idea what that is for - there are tons of additional fees that also go unexplained, so factor that into your decision - 12 a day here, 100 there . . . there is no one price that you can rely on. The amenities are ok but beginning to show age - e.g., the gym is "fine" but nowhere near what it should be for such a large resort - it becomes very crowded, very quickly. Overall, we will likely stay here again but there are several other options that are becoming more appealing given check-in (multiple times inputting same information) as well as nickel-and-dime fees.

Rented because it was advertised as $85 per night in reality it was close to $300 a night . They charge an exorbitant service fee, HOA fee, cleaning fee, etc. CRAZY !! Would not let us check in early even though it was not rented day prior. Once checked in we were on our own, they told us what building we were in and sent us on our way . We had to figure parking on our own in a dungeon, and how to get our luggage to the room on our own . Room was nice logistics were horrible . Would not recommend this place . I could have stayed directly on beach with a complimentary breakfast each morning, room service every day, and a great gulf view. None of this was provided at Portifino . Next time I’m in The Hotel on the beach !!!

Better than expected!

We had a wonderful stay! The photos don’t do the condo justice at all! The rental company provided everything we needed ahead of time and was easy to get in touch with. We received key cards and 2 assigned parking passes inside the garage. There’s a loading area with carts which made it easy to get unloaded and parked out of the weather. The location of the resort is set away from the other rental properties which made it feel exclusive and private with no crowds. We had the beach to ourselves and the water, even on a cloudy day was beautiful-we were able to see dolphins and rays all day. Each building has its own heated pool and hot tub, the main guest building includes a spa, restaurants, bar and both indoor and several outdoor pools. Even on rainy days, the view from our unit was breathtaking and unobstructed. We spent a lot of time on the balcony which has plenty of seating. You will be required to leave a card on file with the resort when you check in-this allowed us to order food by the pool and pay for spa services and other extras without carrying a wallet around-staff will scan your keycard for any purchased. The condo itself was impeccably clean with all the amenities we needed. Plenty of towels, extra blankets and pillows. We parked our car upon arrival and never felt the need to leave the resort. We will definitely be back for another visit and will certainly use Beach Getaways again for future trips. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend

Beautiful decor! Very clean & included everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Loved the view! The resort amenities were wonderful. The spa, workout facility, numerous pools & hot tubs, restaurants & beach were all great! Every staff member we encountered was courteous, engaging, & service-minded. Additionally, the location was perfect- close to other restaurants, etc but located at a distance to provide a more quiet, secluded feel. Will return!

Amazing condo

Can’t say enough good things about this condo. It was beautifully decorated and had everything that we needed. The 2nd bedroom beds were incredibly comfortable. Easy walk to the main pool and beach.

Portofino Resort is a Beautiful Property

The overall community is breathtaking! The service was excellent all over the resort. The ocean & sand were perfect. However, there is currently a huge jelly fish problem! Our condo was recently updated & beautifully decorated. However, the master shower had black mold all along the bottom, the guest shower did not drain well, the fan would not work in the smaller bedroom without the light on and overall cleanliness could greatly be improved (could easily see dirt under the couch, dirty rug). We had a wonderful time & know you can’t expect pristine conditions every time. That being said, we’d certainly rent this unit again. Beautiful resort!
