This home is in a beautiful, quiet, community & is tastefully decorated & spacious for our family of 12 1/2! The kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms & pool area had a good amount of towels & bath cloths. We loved the pool & outdoor areas!

Repeat visit!

I had stayed at Higher Ground in July, so when my northern relatives wanted to experience the north Georgia mountains, I knew the perfect place to stay! The house is beautifully furnished, with comfy beds and a kitchen equipped for all our cooking needs. We did all the fun fall activities- exploring downtown Ellijay, apple orchard, Burt's Pumpkin Farm, Amicalola Falls, and Roos Vineyard and Winery. After our exploring, it was great to come back to Higher Ground and relax on the deck on that outdoor furniture!

Beautiful home, great setting. We seen deer, bear, turkeys & all kinds of wild life. Home was easy, pool was the number 1 hit. Plenty of toiletries (soap, trash bags, dish soap, laundry soap etc.). Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will go again. Family of 13.

Fun With Friends

My beach friend's group (we book with Coastal Vibe for our beach trips) decided to try a mountain vacation. We loved this beautiful house! There was plenty of room for our group of 7. We used everything—the pool, the hot tub, the ping pong table, the hanging chairs under the deck, and even sitting around the fire pit with no fire (not in July)! The most used spot was the outdoor decks with the very comfy outdoor furniture, perfect for reading or napping. The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs. We brought food and supplies and didn't even leave to go out to eat. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We saw deer several times. It was a wonderful trip! I know my friends will want to go back to Higher Ground again! Thanks, Mountain Vibe!

Beautiful Cabin with Great Amenities!

This cabin is beautifully decorated and accommodates people so well! The TV by the hot tub was a hit, and we loved hanging out on the porches at all hours of the day! Can't wait to go back!

Had a great time at Higher Ground Thanksgiving week. The cabin is beautiful and so tastefully decorated. There was a gorgeous Christmas tree in the living room. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, fire pit, pool table and fireplaces. We made great memories! Host was so responsive. Just a great experience!!! Highly recommend this cabin!

Amazing Mountain House

We had an awesome stay at Higher Ground. The house itself was amazing; indoor pool, hot tub, fire pit, etc. The communication and service from the hosts was also spectacular. Very close to Ellijay too!

Great spot

The house was beautiful and all the pictures were exactly what we got. The bedrooms were all perfect for our group. My only complaint was that the house needed a good clean. Since we choose not to leave the house much, I just wanted a little more detail to the clean.

Amazing home

This place was amazing and accommodated our group of 10 adults and six kids so loud. Plenty of space, dining necessities. They did not provide any shampoo, conditioner, or soap and minimal dishwasher pods, but did bring more when requested. I highly recommend and would stay here again. Very clean nice decor.

The house is JUST as pictured but TBH the pictures don’t do the house justice its beautiful. The house is HUGE, everything was very clean & the house was fully stocked w/ towels.  The house is absolutely beautiful, & I'd DEFINITELY stay in this home again.  The host was easy to contact & willing to assist with any questions.  The house has some necessities (shower gel, dish detergent, laundry detergent, extra rolls of toilet paper & garbage bags) but if you plan on staying for longer than a few days you will need to have extra items on hand.  They do have salt & pepper shakers, but all seasonings, coffee & other kitchen necessities will need to be purchased.  The house is in a high terrain area therefore, driving at night is a little scary if you are not used to driving in the complete dark or in the mountains.  There are televisions in every room including all outdoor lounge areas, the pool room & hot tub area.  This is not a town that has LOTS of things to do.  Outside of scenic hikes, apple picking, fishing or river tubing there isn’t much to do locally.  Most “fun” activities are about 1 hour or more away going more towards the city.  I have not one bad to say about this property.  If I had to find one thing I would say I wish they had a better ventilation system for the pool room.  Since the pool room is heated & door must remained closed the chemicals will get to you. Door Dash service isnt avail but 20 mins in town has all your needs (takeout, markets and walmart).

Thanksgiving 2024

We had an absolutely amazing time! The cabin was so beautiful, exquisitely decorated and incredibly clean. The Christmas tree was a beautiful focal point in the living room, making for a great family photo! Nights by the fire, dinners at the beautiful table and fun times in the pool and hot tub made for a great week. The staff was so responsive to my questions and provided great information on the area. We celebrated my 65th birthday and Thanksgiving with our family, and made some joyous memories. Thank you for everything!!!! We definitely plan a return visit.

40th Birthday Girls Getaway

I chose this property as we have stayed here previously for a Bachelor party weekend. It was my girlfriend's 40th Birthday and we booked this weekend with 12 of her friends from different time periods of her life. This house accommodated all 14 of us very nicely. Enough room for everyone. Indoor pool was nice for rainy days, and the hot tub for cooler nights. Safe to say the outdoor fire place seating area was everyone's favorite place to be. Will definitely keep Higher Ground in mind for future trips!

Second Visit - Still Great!

This was our second time staying at Higher Ground, this time with a group of 8 women for a long weekend retreat. We had plenty of space for a yoga class, in-cabin spa sessions, games, crafts, and lots of fun, food, and drinks. We love the finishing touches in the home that make it feel special and luxe, and when we encountered a minor issue with the front door lock upon arrival, they fixed it remotely over the phone, then someone was onsite within a few minutes to help. I'm blown away by the property and by the management company, which is why we keep coming back to their properties!

Excellent Staying! Unforgettable vacations!

Our stay was wonderful! The house was impecable, very well equipped, perfect for 3 families. All of us were so comfortable, the decoration is so beautiful!!! The kids had a lot of fun sleeping in the bunk beds and having their own space. The ping pong table is a highlight as well as the pool and hot tub. The terrace was my favorite place l, having a drink while bbq was getting done. I would repeat the stay and recommend for sure for any family or group of friends that want to spend quality time together. We also did the hikes inside the complex, they are beautiful and perfect for morning or afternoon walk after meals! The customer service was excellent, they answered every question quickly and politely. They helped me find the perfect house for our trip! We have no complains, we only have good memories! Thanks Mountain Vibes !!!

Luxury & Serenity

We have always had a great experience renting from Coastal Vibe, and our most recent stay at Higher Ground was truly next-level! The rental was open a little early (always helpful when they let us know so we can enjoy extra time), and they've taken such care to make sure everything you need is in the home. The beds are THEE most comfortable I've ever slept on in a rental and the bathrooms are gorgeous. Everything about the home is remarkable, and then you get to the indoor pool and I was just blown away. It was such a treat to have fun like kids in the pool in February, then run outside for a dip in the hot tub. They even had everything we needed for the fire pit. The house is easy to get to, close to town, and everything was spotless. I can't recommend it enough, in fact we have another stay at Higher Ground already booked!

Amazing Christmas Experience!!

My family and I enjoyed staying at the most fantastic cabin for Christmas, and we can't stop raving about it! The cabin was the perfect blend of cozy and luxurious. The cabin had stunning views of the surrounding forest and a warm, inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible pool. Despite the chilly weather outside, we could swim in the heated pool, which was the perfect way to relax and unwind. The pool area was beautifully designed, with comfortable lounge chairs and plenty of space to hang out and play card games. My family enjoyed roasting marshmallows, playing games, and sharing stories around the fire pit in the evenings. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable, from the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy bedrooms. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. The indoor pool and firepit were just two features that made our stay unforgettable, and we can't wait to return next holiday season.

Great getaway, beautiful house!

This was a great house for our yearly friend’s Christmas getaway! The kitchen was extremely well equipped for all our cooking needs. The house itself is beautiful. We did have an issue with one of the indoor fireplaces, management was very attentive and it was fixed temporarily but then went out again, which was a bit of a letdown. There was plenty of room for our group of 9 adults, with everyone having their own bathroom, which was great. The neighborhood is quiet, hiking trail across the road was fun. We did have an issue with next door neighbor leaving their outside lights on ALL night. The master bedroom only has partial window coverings, so the upper windows allowed in all that light. The bunk bed room has no window coverings whatsoever which we felt was a bit odd. The house was in a great location.

Higher Ground Mountain Retreat Simply Amazing!

Dear Mountain Vibe Vacations Team, I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional experience my family and I had during our recent stay. From the immaculate cleanliness to the stunning interior and exterior design, every detail exceeded our expectations. Every room was spotless, truly immaculate. The level of comfort in each bed was beyond anything I've experienced; I don't know what kind of bedding you provide, but it felt like gliding into pure luxury. My husband's 50th birthday retreat was nothing short of spectacular, and our guests couldn't stop raving about the breathtaking location. Many asked how I discovered such an incredible place, and I was more than happy to recommend Mountain Vibe Vacations. Although this was a short getaway, I know I must return for a longer stay, at least a five-day vacation, minimum. The property was beautiful and as pictured, however, we went an entire day without water and the property manager acted like it was no big deal. The neighborhood cannot accommodate the number of people advertised due to a shared well. Something I wish I knew beforehand. If water is not a necessity to you, it was great.
