The interior space was very clean and comfortable. For the sake of future guests, I hope that a few needed fixes get attention: The towel bar in the bathroom was unusable, two of the dining chairs have broken planks, and one of the lights by the table needs to be replaced. Other than that, everything seemed perfectly great.
As far as communication, I never received the check-in information until the day of, and I only got the info after calling directly because I did not get a reply from the Vrbo inbox message I sent. The message that I did get included an error (telling me that I was a party of 8 checking in, though it was just for 2 people) and also contradicted the instructions posted on the sheet of paper on the inside of the entrance door (in regards to the space in which to park). The host never sent a Vrbo inbox message about this discrepancy, but did sent a direct text message and knocked on the door of our stay to ask about it.It turned out that opting for the directions on the paper on the door was the incorrect thing to do.
Also, when I made the booking, the listing initially had a discounted price. After I made the booking request, I received a "Reservation request updated" message from the owner telling me that the price is "incorrect", at which point if I wanted to continue I would have to start the payment process over but at the non-discounted price. I was never given any explanation as to why I was not able to book at the originally provided price.
