Remodeled 6th Floor Condo at Purgatory Resort - Awesome Slope Views

Just take the elevator to the ground floor and you are steps away from the main Ski Lift. Our single level 2 bedroom/2 bath condo (Unit 624) is located on the 6th floor of the Eolus building which is located in the heart of the main plaza - making your vacation as convenient as possible.

The condo has been completely remodeled and features a fully stocked kitchen, wood burning fireplace (firewood provided), TVs in each bedroom along with WIFI, washer/dryer and a deck with slope views. Additionally there is an assigned covered parking space on the 2nd floor of the building and the Eolus Building features 2 hot tubs (year round).

2nd Bedroom - Queen Bed and bunk beds TV (single over single)
Main Living Space - Queen Pull Out Sofa

Book 7+ nights and a 10% discount is automatically applied.

As with all properties in the Eolus building, pets are not allowed per HOA rules.

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, plenty of room for everyone to sleep and also enjoy a meal or hang out and watch tv. Believe that due to the unseasonably warm temps there were large flies alive and dead throughout the condo. Had one issue with someone parking in our designated spot, however we called in the morning to VRC, they suggested we put a note on the vehicle not parked correctly - we did and they were moved by the next day. I feel that we should not have had to do that, but no biggie.

We have stayed in these condos many times and had great experiences. This condo had not been cleaned as well as our previous condos. There were dead flies all over the condo. The beds in this condo were not comfortable either. We cleaned it up, and had a great time other than the beds. The fireplace is wood burning, not propane like other condos we have stayed in at the same complex. Great location, and we will stay in these condos again but we will try to to end up in room 624 again.

Perfect Vacation

Absolutely incredible stay, doesn't get better than ski in ski out.... Condo was really nice, spectacular views, clean, beds really comfy, couldn't have asked for a better time.

Perfect location for the 4x4 off highway trail getaway that my husband and I had wanted to do for the longest time. Right between Durango and Silverton, so we were able to visit each town as well as Ouray and take in all the beautiful scenery. The condo was super clean and beautifully updated. Also, a great view of the surrounding area and we could watch some uphill bike racing from the balcony! Would definitely stay again, and the owner/managers were great as well!

Stay at Eolus condo

This was a very nice updated condo with views both of the ski resort base and mountains. The kitchen was well equipped and the master bedroom and bathroom were spacious. The mattress was a bit too firm for side sleepers. Parking in garage was included and the slopes were right outside. The condo came with starter kits for the kitchen, washer, and bathrooms. The second bedroom was crowded but would sleep four, making it good for children. Both couches were sleeper sofas. The entrance has a vestibule with a small bench handy for taking of your boots. The condo was very quiet and we did not hear any noise from other residents. We would definitely go there again.

Ok but not great.

The condo was the perfect location, but needs some work in the inside. The WiFi didn’t work for a few days. The PM provided another network to use but it wasn’t great either, and unless you have great WiFi you are out of luck. Minimal towels were provided in the unit as well. We requested more and were told some would be brought up and they never were. We reached out again and I was told where the towels were located but additional towels were never provided as promised! PM was very responsive but not consistent. A little disappointing! We have stayed many times in the Eolus Buidling and love it though!

The view and location were wonderful. Nice updated condo. My only complaint is the king bed. It has what looks to be an old mattress with a super thick foam topper on it. It was too soft and also leaned to the right. Kind of made me feel like I could roll off the edge of the bed. We enjoyed our stay though.
