The best place to stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was very nice and clean. The only thing we did not like about our stay was when I booked it there was nowhere stating the pool was down and the access to the beach was closed off. We did however follow the sidewalk to the beach by the Beachhouse restaurant and swam in the pool there so it was not to far away.

Very nice

Very nice place right on the beach beautiful view. Only thing is the remotes to the bedroom TV control the bedroom TV. They were kind of hard to get to operate but other than that the stay was well. The bathroom toilet in the master bedroom did have bad smell to it. I had to re-clean it. It seemed a little dirty. other than that was a nice little place to stay, enjoyed it we’ll be back.

Great!

Loved the location and the beautiful views from the room! Easy access to the beach and pool. Tram service to Baytowne Wharf was nice too once we figured out how to navigate the routes. Felt like that could have been better explained. Also the washing machine knob needs fixed so you don’t have to constantly fiddle with it to keep it in the right spot for the cycle to continue. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

NEEDS MAJOR UPDATES AND DEEP CLEANING

Upon arrival, the condo was extremely dirty. Ketchup smeared on the patio doors, french fries on the patio, cookies on the floor. I spent the 1st hour of my vacation cleaning the condo bc if they missed the obvious in cleaning, who knows if the place was cleaned at all. Things that were broken in the condo at arrival: -air conditioner -washing machine -coffee pot -and lots of little things around the condo that just indicates lack of maintenance or care of the condo The couch and rug in the living area are beyond dirty and need to be replaced. Went to the store to buy lysol and spray before allowing my family sitting on it. The condo is in need of major updating and maintenance. The location is great and the management company was quick to address all of the concerns, but it was a HUGE pain to deal with on vacation.

We had this trip scheduled and a family emergency occurred just days before we were to arrive. Gibson was gracious enough to allow us to reschedule, which very few, if any other management groups would do. So thankful for working with us through a difficult life event. Great job Gibson!!

Easy access to the beach, and right by the Beach House restaurant and a fun little drink stand. My only 2 complaints are that the guest shower head was somewhat broken and made that shower unusable, and it didn’t appear it had just happened, and when you run the dryer it smells like something is on fire. It also stated that beach umbrella and chairs were included and the description should have been that they are available within the unit for you to use, not the beach set up professionally provided - as that was unclear.

It would have been nice to know that there was construction going on around the property and that the umbrella and chairs with the rental are stored in the unit, not those provided with rentals from other properties that are setup on the beach for you. We did like the unit though as the A/C worked great in the heat and it has a wonderful view. Some minor touch ups or repairs in the unit are needed, but nothing that interfered with our great trip. We'd rent and recommend this again.

the best vacation me and my family has been on yet. the only downside is all of the rental beach chairs and umbrellas they put up on the beach. not even half of them was being used and it made it difficult to find a good spot to setup on the beach. other than that it was amazing.

What a View!

Perfect floor to see some shark and dolphin activity. Not too low to hear noise below. Wonderful view of the ocean as you lay in the master bedroom. Easily view sunrises and sunsets. I wish the tram service had been a bit better but it was heavily impacted by some road construction on the marina side of the resort. I wish the room included information about the resort readily available -like locations of things in a laminated booklet or something. We had a water service interruption for a few hours one day but it was communicated well so we had time to prepare for it. I wish the pool had been more easily accessible and the showers too for coming in from the beach but I understand the construction going on made the showers unsafe to use. Overall we would definitely come back to the resort, but not to a building undergoing such construction at the time(I think we underestimated the impact of it all and that's our fault). The property management team was wonderful and we would rent from them again.

My kids enjoyed waking up and sitting on the balcony every morning. Location was perfect as we were right next to the elevator. Very quiet. The pool was never over crowded and the beach access was simple and convenient. I look forward to renting again next year. Easy access to property and condo. Beautiful property and plenty to do. There was some maintenance going on in front lobby but it was not an issue.

Walton Destin Airport and planted our feet in Sandestin Miramar beach the entire week. Had groceries delivered, used the shuttle to go to Baytown mall with restaurants and stores. The beach was most beautiful and people so nice!! Definitely coming back. So relaxing better than expected. Very accommodating!!

1st time rental. Overall great experience. Loved the 9th floor balcony including outdoor furniture, saw lots of dolphins. Great location and convenient to elevators, beach, and comfy bed. We will def consider renting this unit again or with this company. However I doubt we will go again in late July/early August. Beaches were ridiculously crowded and people were testy. We usually only go in October or stay in a house with private beach. this was a last minute get-away before our oldest went off to college.
