The Cozy "Gaming House"

Thank you for the feedback. A few notes, I have the property listed as 1.5 baths with 2 full beds in the description. I’m not sure where it’s listed as 2 baths. Did you adjust the AC or use any of the fans to cool down the rooms?

Hi Sue, Thank you for choosing us and telling me about the typo concerning the half bath. I didn't realize the second bathroom was listed as a full instead of an half. Your the first person to let me know and its been corrected. There is a washer and dryer in the basement. Did you go to the basement? Last, the house is in the city in an urban neighborhood and the neighbors are great.

Communication is always key. If one channel is broke, then try the other alternatives such as calling, or texting. Sometimes technology may fell or cause delay with VRBO messaging due to wifi. I pride myself in meeting the needs of all guest as best as possible. The home has always had a washer and dryer in the basement. The neighborhood currently has construction, and maybe a little noisier than usual during the day. This is temporary. There are nice neighbors on both sides of the home.

I do provide my direct phone number for any urgent needs, but I did not receive a call from you during your stay — many of your concerns could have been resolved quickly had we spoken directly. On a separate note, I’ll be reviewing supplies and housekeeping to make sure everything is fully prepared for future guests. Regarding the neighborhood, the home is located in the urban city surrounded by great neighbors on a fairly quiet street. There has never been a reported incident affecting guest safety. My goal is always to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable stay, and I’ll continue improving to ensure that.

Regarding communication, I responded to your question that was sent outside of VRBO messaging within 2 hours. I had also reached out after your first night to check that everything was going well, but unfortunately I did not receive a response. Had I been made aware that the upstairs was not cooling properly, I would have immediately arranged for an HVAC technician to inspect the system during your stay. I was also surprised to learn that the bedroom windows were left open while the air conditioning was running. The home is equipped with central air conditioning as well as fans in each bedroom to help circulate cool air, and opening the windows can significantly reduce the system’s ability to cool the upstairs effectively. Regarding the comments about gunshots, racing, and other disturbances, I reviewed the exterior security camera footage from your stay and did not observe or hear any incidents matching that description. The home is located within the city, so guests may occasionally hear normal urban sounds such as traffic or emergency vehicles, but nothing reflected the events described. I appreciate you sharing your experience, as it gives me the opportunity to continue improving for future guests. I wish we had been able to address your concerns during your stay, as timely communication often allows issues to be resolved quickly and successfully.
