Our home away from home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 12th year staying at The Barracks. We love it so much! It's perfectly located, incredibly convenient, and peaceful. We love the layout and the ease of walking right out onto the beach or the back dock. The gazebo is a favorite spot to watch for dolphins in the morning and the sunset in the evening. Also, there are as many bathrooms as bedrooms- big plus!

Great vacation stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Barracks had everything that we could possibly need for our vacation. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The house was very clean when we arrived and the house was perfect for our grandchildren and our visitors that needed the elevator. While there a turtle laid her eggs and we saw dolphins every morning while we sat out on the lookout. The creek access was perfect for fishing and using our boat.

Like Going Home!

Reviewer Comments: Perfect location, well equipped kitchen, beautiful bedrooms and living spaces, and a huge PI screened front porch appointed with hammock and gathering area. Rocking chairs line the huge gazebo providing relaxing views of the ocean or walk down the creek dock for crabbing . Ice maker and elevator provide the perfect convenience for easy living!

Have you seen the creek from the dock?

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mornings we watched the dolphins swim by after the sunrise, midday was for beach play and waves to ride. This year we had some serious fishing, especially at the South End. Evenings we were dockside, some in the kayaks, some waiting for the perfect photo of sunset colors and some just enjoying each other. The week was too short!
