Laid Back Lake Life by AvantStay | Waterfront View

An acorn ambush on the deck, autumn's own confetti for the wedding weekend! Glad the home gathered the whole family for the celebration. Come test that summer lake theory anytime!

So glad the house was such a great spot for gathering, with that wonderful outdoor space and Lake Norman location! Appreciate you flagging the cobwebs and the outdoor cleanup — we'll be sure to pass that along so we can get it spruced up. Hope to welcome you back anytime!

A first birthday under the gazebo by the lake might be the sweetest celebration we've heard about all year! With kids from babies to six, it sounds like this home handled the whole beautiful chaos, from kayaks and dock fishing to that double oven feeding all eleven of you. Coming from a family that travels a lot, being called the best property you've stayed in means the world. We'd absolutely love to be part of the next family gathering!

Thank you for sharing this with us. We're sorry the recliners weren't functional — especially knowing your mother was counting on one for comfort — and that the outdoor space wasn't in the shape it should have been. Both have been passed along to our team so they can be addressed. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know, and we hope you'll give us another chance to host you.

Hi Jason! It sounds like you stayed in a truly luxurious and spacious home! The fantastic lake view, beach access, and high-end furnishings must have made it a perfect spot for your family to relax and enjoy. With so much space for everyone to spread out and entertain themselves, it seems like an ideal getaway for a family vacation.

Thanks Tom! Glad y'all had an awesome Lakecation!

Thank you for the detailed feedback, Rita! We're so glad you and your group had a wonderful time and that the home, kitchen, outdoor cooking area, and water activities all added to the experience. We appreciate your kind words about the updates we made during your stay and your helpful notes about the deck, window sills, and minor maintenance items—those have been shared with our team for attention. We'd love to welcome you back for another great visit!

We're so glad your family group had such a great time at the lake house! It sounds like the perfect summer setup—the beach area, kayaks, and shade for the hot days, plus the game room and basketball hoop keeping the kids happily entertained. Thank you also for the honest note about the home needing a little TLC; the loose, hard-to-use shower handle, the split step, and the loose deck railing are all important to flag, and we've shared them with our team so they can be repaired and kept safe. We truly appreciate you taking the time, and knowing you'd rent Laid Back Lake again means a lot—we'd love to welcome your family back anytime!

Thanks Son glad you enjoyed your stay at Laid Back Lake Life!

Thanks Gettys, we are glad you had a great time and enjoyed the outdoor kitchen.
