We had a lovely stay at this scenic, waterfront property. The location is absolutely gorgeous—quiet, peaceful, and with easy access to the water. The grounds are very well maintained, the house was clean, and the furnishings were tasteful and high quality. It’s a great setup for families, with thoughtful use of space and amenities like outdoor seating and a fire pit that really added to the experience. The water pressure was excellent, and we appreciated the supply of towels, laundry soap, and even condiments.A few things to note for future guests: while the kitchen was well-stocked with mugs and glassware, there was a surprising lack of everyday dinnerware, which made meals a bit more complicated than they needed to be. Also, the property description was initially confusing—it’s a coach house rather than a standalone home—so take the time to understand the layout, especially if that matters for your group (it wasn’t an issue for us).One drawback was the expectation to bring basics like hand soap and toilet paper, especially at this price point. For the cost, it seems fair to expect those essentials to be fully provided, along with clear info about the coffee setup in advance. Our only real discomfort came when the owner visited on Father’s Day morning to ask about an early checkout and confronted us (incorrectly) about using his rowing boat. It felt awkward and unnecessary.Overall, a lovely property in a fantastic setting—just a few notes to make it perfect.
