Guest Access:
As our guests, you’ll enjoy full access to the entire property and all its amenities, ensuring a private and comfortable stay.

Contactless, 24/7 Check-In:
For your convenience, we offer a completely contactless check-in experience. You’ll receive a unique front door code 2 days prior to arrival, allowing for secure, easy entry at any time—day or night.

Guest Portal:
Your guest portal puts everything you need in one place, including property details, local things to do, and helpful house instructions.

Management:
Our property is expertly managed by Rather Be Properties, and we’re committed to making your stay enjoyable and seamless. Our team is available daily from 9 AM to 9 PM to assist with any questions or requests. You can easily reach us through the VRBO app, by phone, or email. For any urgent issues after hours, we also offer a 24-hour emergency line, ensuring support at any time during your stay.

Family-Friendly:
As parents of young children, we understand the challenges of traveling with little ones. We’ve made the home as family-friendly as possible and provide a Pack ’n Play with crib sheets, with ample space in any bedroom for setup. If you’d like us to set up the Pack ’n Play prior to arrival, please let us know at the time of booking. Kid-friendly cups, bowls, plates, and utensils are also provided, along with books, games, and puzzles for enjoyable family time.

Pet-Friendly Accommodations:
We welcome one dog only (up to 60 lbs) for a $325 pet fee per stay, which helps cover additional cleaning for pet hair. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet. Dogs may not be left unattended, as barking may disturb neighbors, and are not allowed in the pool. If any waste beyond hair (such as urine or feces) is found, an additional $200 cleaning fee will apply. Please let us know in advance if you are traveling with a dog.

Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) Rental:
A stand-up paddleboard is available for an additional $200 per stay (plus tax). Once payment is received, we’ll send you an access code along with an instructional video showing how to unlock, use, and return the SUP.

Pool:
Our private pool is seasonal, typically open from late March or early April through October, weather permitting. The exact opening and closing dates shift a little each year with the weather, so just send us a message and we`ll happily confirm the dates for your stay. Outside the season the pool is winterized and covered — the hot tub is available year-round.

Pool Heating:
Pool heating is available for $125 per day plus tax. It`s booked for the full length of your stay and needs to be requested and paid for in advance, with at least five days` notice, so we have time to bring the water up to temperature. Water temperature does depend on the weather, so we`re not able to promise an exact degree.

Hot Tub:
The hot tub is included in your nightly rate at no additional charge, and we turn it on ahead of your arrival.

No Adhesives on Walls:
Please do not use tape, hooks, stickers, or any adhesive materials on the walls, as they may cause damage.

No Glitter Allowed:
Glitter is extremely difficult to remove and can cause lasting damage to furniture and surfaces. Thank you for helping us maintain a clean and welcoming space for all guests.

Pests & Wildlife:
Corolla is home to seasonal midges—tiny, harmless insects that do not bite. We recommend keeping doors closed as much as possible to minimize their presence indoors. While we treat the area regularly, they may still affect outdoor spaces, so bug spray is recommended when enjoying the deck or pool areas. Snakes may also occasionally appear from the nearby marsh. If you notice one on the property, please contact us immediately and we’ll arrange for animal control to safely remove it.
House Rules
• Primary renter must be 21+, sign a rental agreement, and provide valid photo ID. The registered guest must remain on-site for the entire stay. Subleasing is prohibited.
• No parties or events. Loud music, rambunctious gatherings, or excessive cars disturbing neighbors are strictly prohibited.
• No sticking tape on walls or pictures, and no confetti or glitter is allowed.
• Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 10 AM. Excessive noise or disturbances may result in immediate eviction without refund.
• Smoking or vaping is not allowed indoors, including cigarettes, marijuana, or e-cigarettes. Any cleaning or damage costs will be charged to the primary guest.
• Pets must be on leashes in unenclosed areas. No dogs in the pool. Please clean up after your pets and be mindful of barking to avoid neighbor complaints. Max 1 dog
• Only park in designated areas: garage, driveway, street parking is not permitted. Max 6 vehicles allowed. Avoid blocking neighbors’ homes or driveways.
• Children under 18 must be supervised at all times when using the pool or spa.
• BBQ must be operated by responsible adults only.
• No firearms, fireworks, or hazardous materials allowed on the property.
• Follow all local, county, and state laws and short-term rental regulations. Noncompliance may result in eviction by city without refund.
• Late checkout may result in a fee of up to $200 unless approved in advance.
• Fines may apply for violations of house rules or city ordinances, including Code Enforcement penalties.
