Perfect place for our family of 4 and dog. Walk out the door go left to the bay or right to the beach! Piers to fish off and so much wildlife right there in the water! House was clean and had everything we needed, owners very responsive and the pool was fantastic. Within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and market. Will be coming back here to make more memories!

Perfect location on Anna Maria Island. Short walk to beach, shops, and restaurants. Beautiful pool and hot tub to relax in. Rex was very responsive for all questions.

Wonderful beach cottage in perfect location! Easy walk to beach, shops, pier, restaurants. Host was great! Super easy to work with, extremely responsive to messages. Backyard felt like a resort, kids had as much fun there as they did at the beach.

We had a great time enjoying this property. It’s in a great location a few blocks from Bridge St. the pool is very well maintained & heated. The hot tub did wonders for my back. Newer full size washer/dryer and plenty of parking.

Wonderful get away

Perfect location for a family vacation, walking distance to everything you need. Quite street at night and Rex is very responsive host. Our family had a great vacation here this year!

Just as advertised

We had a great stay at this property. The kids LOVED the pool and it was very convenient being able to walk to many shops and restaurants. The property had everything we needed for a great vacation.

Quick trip down for sunshine over holiday weekend

Quick trip, only 2 nights with my kiddos over Easter. Good food, quick trip to the beach. Property was fine for our adventure.

Great place

This was our second time staying at this place. The location and the pool are the best thing about this place. Also, there are so many extras there as well like kayaks, paddle boards, nice beach chairs, umbrellas and lots of toys for the kids. Will definitely come again.

Great getaway

Property was really nice the pool area was amazing and literally walks to the beach… definitely will stay again and loved that they were pet friendly definitely a plus

Cortez Beach with Pool

This location was wonderful. Cortez Beach was across the street and the pool and hot tub provided the additional fun to the location. The owner provides all the water toys and even camp chairs to use at the beach. Restaurants and historic Bridge Street is approximately 1/4 mile away.

great outside

the pool area was awesome. all of the toys-paddle boards kayaks bikes pin pong etc. were awesome. location was great. only downside was interior is dated and they use window mount a/cs to cool the house and they are extremely noisy.

Most folks like white noise while sleeping so very surprised by the 3-star rating when everything else was "awesome" and expectations were set through the listing... Also, I had HVAC folks evaluate central air and they said it was practically impossible to install in our lovely 1950 bungalow. Rex

Convenient and everything you need!

Our family had a wonderful time at this convenient location! We were able to experience kayaking and stand up paddle boarding at the bay, which are available on the property, and bicycling. The pool was amazing! Walking distance to Bridge Street and to the beach. We will be back!

The two bedrooms had very comfy beds. It was nice having his & hers bathrooms so we didn’t have to share! The kitchen was newly updated with nice appliances and well equipped. The cherry on top was the beautiful pool and hot tub! We definitely will be back!

Great place, great location

The Cortez resort was fantastic! My wife and I really enjoyed the house and the back patio/pool. Kids also loved it, really enjoying the pool. It's a stones throw to the beach and a short walk to Bridge street stores, restaurants, and pier. Rex had his place very clean and offered all essential amenities - cookware, grill, books, internet, and cable tv. We hope to be back!

Very clean, perfect space and location, only negatives is that there is a unit above us and you could hear every footsteps that they took while we were there they were families above us with little ones and that was a distraction, and the other negative in the evening time we’d like to wind down with the television and fall asleep, but they were Wi-Fi issues with the television other than that it was a good place to stay

Location

Location of the property was perfect to accessing the beach. A short walk away and you found yourself with an array of options for dining, shops and restaurants! Lots to do right around the corner. Rental property provided a lot of options to keep you busy as well from the bikes, kayaks and paddle boards. We found the pool to be our favorite spot for the weekend.
