We love it! We’ve stayed at the Enclave three times, this particular unit twice. Easy walk to the beach or pool, even with 4 kids in tow. Having laundry in the unit is awesome. There’s plenty of space in the condo for all of us. There are restaurants we can walk to which is also nice. Thank you again for a wonderful vacation!

Winter stay

The location was absolutely perfect. Rooms were large and comfortable. My only complaint was it really needs a deep cleaning. The kitchen appliances/ cookware all need to be replaced. We stayed for 5 weeks and cooked everyday & ended up buying things to use in the kitchen, like knives that were actually sharp. We would stay here again with no problem.

Perfect getaway

We were able to take a brief trip to Destin and found this gem. Although it is an old building is has been very well taken care of. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds very comfortable. There is lots of furniture to choose from. The beach is right across the street. We were able to walk to several of the restaurants and enjoyed some great seafood. We had a small problem with the microwave and Jodie from iTrip (which we dealt with) sent someone out within a few hours and the problem was resolved. The white sand here is amazing! Can't wait to come again next year.

Great property

Our family had a great time at this property. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the basketball, volleyball courts and pool while the adults were just across the road at the beach. There was someone cleaning the downstairs lobby area daily, and the outside of the premises is well kept. My only complaint was that the sofa bed still had a blanket in it with a piece of someone’s eye glasses. I did reach out to the unit mgr and was given new blankets. Overall the unit was clean and check in:check out procedures were simple & easy. There is a coffee/sandwich shop on site as well which was a hit. We will definitely be back in the future.

Beach getaway

The size and cleanliness of the condo were perfect for my sister and I. Easy access to the beach. The blinds in the bedrooms are still a problem. The WiFi went out and could not be repaired for four days, which was a hardship. The Roku was missing, which was disappointing. Our concerns were addressed quickly except for the WiFi and Roku.

The Enclave – A Perfect Coastal Retre

My family and I stayed at The Enclave in Destin and absolutely fell in love with the place. Nestled across from the sugar-white sands of Crystal Beach, the property offers deeded beach access so you’re just a couple of steps from the water . We adored relaxing by the sparkling pool, enjoying friendly matches on the tennis or sand-volleyball courts, and grilling out at the barbeque area all set within beautifully landscaped grounds. Our condo was spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows, a welcoming open floor plan, and a private balcony overlooking lush green spaces. The kitchen was well equipped, perfect for family dinners, and the living area was cozy and bright. Location-wise, you’re within walking distance to popular restaurants like Captain Dave’s and Pompano Joe’s, plus a short drive from the Silver Sands Outlets and Destin Commons . We found the check-in and management process smooth and efficient, and the unit was clean and comfortable a great value for families or groups seeking a memorable beach vacation .

Bed bugs

This is the very first time I leave a bad review on VRBO but the two nights were a nightmare for me and my family. The listing it’s described in the advertising, but your unit 302A it’s infested with bed bugs specially the primary bed! I have PTSD from this trip. 😭

June 2024 stay

Overall stay was fine. It met its purpose. The only issue was the blinds for each room was either broken or not working. Although once I reported one room maintenance came and fixed it right away. Wi-Fi in the whole condo was very poor. You’d get it then it kicks you out. Grounds were kept very clean.

The condo was adequate...needs serious updating...couches worn, pillows worn. Inadequate amount of silverware.. needed to wash frequently. Most air b&bs leave adequate amount of soaps, dishwasher soaps, etc..bare minimum here.. Washer and dryer not very good. Dryer vented into closet, causes bad musty smell when in use. Condo was clean, close to beach. No extras.....been to others that made you feel welcome....not so much here ..m

Thank you for the review we take feedback very seriously. We have spent the off season doing deep cleans and updating inventory. The dryer issues have also been addressed. Location on this unit is key.

I would stay again

We really enjoyed staying there. The condo was very quiet. The grounds are nice and well kept. The unit we were in was clean and comfortable. Much better than staying in a hotel room when you have a family of 5. The beach is a very short walk away, like 75 feet or so. There is a private entrance. The beach is beautiful, clean and very well kept. The only reason I gave this unit 4 stars rather than 5 is the washer and dryer is extremely small and takes hours for each load/cycle, even when not full. The dryer is a ventless dryer and each cycle take 1.50 hrs and almost every time was still not dry. Also although there is two bathrooms, you can not use them at the same time. Water pressure is very low and if anyone is in the shower in one, the other does not have enough pressure to shower. Given everything, it is still a great option and price is far better than renting two hotel rooms. I would stay here again.

Thank you for your review. The location and ease of access of the complex is great on this unit at Enclave. We have done upgrades in the off season at this unit. We would love to have you come back and stay with us again. We love repeat guests.

The Host was amazing! They were able to accommodate us in dealings with meds that we had to get into a fridge before check in. The pool was nice and just what we needed when we were tired of the sand and salt water! The beach being private to the residents and guests in the area was so nice! The whole code process was pretty simple. The only thing I’d change is have a ramp access of some sort for the beach access. We had a wagon to cart stuff down and had to carry that down the 3/4 sections of stairs and in the process wondered how a handicap persons would be able to make it down to join the family. Over all the Condo was very comfortable it’s an older unit so there could be some updates to be honest but it was fine for the visit. Could of had extra towels in the bathroom bc they weren’t drying fast enough for the next day but sure if we called and asked they would of taken care of it we just didn’t worry about it to much. Beds were comfortable. The blinds were missing some in the living room and they were cut short in places but honestly a set of black out curtains for at least the bedrooms would be a better option then the blinds. We couldn’t keep the kids asleep long in the morning bc the sun would get through the blinds. The couches super comfortable and the pillow on them were the best but the Couch's need a good Shampoo for sure. Love the openness of the whole place. Over all it was an AMAZING experience. Would for sure rent this place again!!

Great location

The location of this property is awesome with a short walk to the beach. However, if you have older family or friends with you the stairs to the beach can be too much. The pictures of the unit are better than the unit actually is as it could use some major updates. The ceiling in the kitchen area is disgusting with what appears to be mold and broken tiles in the drop ceiling. I probably would not have booked if that was shown. The property is very quiet and peaceful but I do not think we will book that unit again unless it was updated and the mold was cleaned out.
