Beautiful new vacation home in Prominence right next to 'The Big Chill' with designer furnishings, open concept floor plan, garage, TVs in every bedroom, 5 bedrooms (2 true masters with King size beds) + a sleeper sofa to accommodate up to 16 guests, and access to two large community resort-style pools (heated seasonally) + cabanas + grill + fire pit + bathhouse!

Peaceful, serene setting while being central and close to local amenities!

The space

Welcome to 'Saltwater Sunset!'

Breathtaking sunsets await, with the added perk of a 6-seater LSV and 4 bikes included!

Step inside and be greeted by the floorplan's open, light-filled spaces. Every corner exudes high-end coastal charm, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests. Relax with ease in the spacious living area, or take the festivities outdoors to your screened-in porch and expansive paver patio with BBQ grill, fire pit and adirondack chairs! The chef-Inspired kitchen and spacious living room provide a wonderful atmosphere for gatherings, making entertaining a breeze.

This home accommodates up to 16 guests, with two primary King suites, one on the main level and another on the second floor, both with en suite bathrooms.

Two additional bedrooms with Queen beds on the second level share a covered porch and bathroom. And for the younger ones, a cozy bunkroom with two sets of bunk beds (Twin-over-Twins) is the perfect retreat! The bunk room has a dedicated hallway bathroom!

Located within the prestigious Prominence community, an array of amenities await your enjoyment. Take a dip in the resort-style pools, or take advantage of the convenient shuttle service to the nearby Deer Lake Park Beach Access!

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS (SLEEPS 16):
-Master Bedroom, First Floor: King bed and private en suite bathroom with walk-in glass shower + double vanities
-Master Bedroom 2, Second Floor: King bed and private en suite bathroom with walk-in glass shower + double vanities
-Bedroom 3, Second Floor: Queen bed, shared balcony, and shared bathroom with tub/shower combination + double vanities
-Bedroom 4, Second Floor: Queen bed, shared balcony, and shared bathroom with tub/shower combination + double vanities
-Bedroom 5, Second Floor: Two sets of single bunk beds (4 single beds) and dedicated hallway bathroom with tub/shower combination
-Sleeper Sofa in Living Room

There is also a pack 'n play and a Queen air mattress provided.

Guest access

Prominence is one of 30A's newest vacation destinations, and includes complimentary access to two huge resort style pools (with zero-entry), private cabanas, hammocks, outdoor dining pavilions (with grills), and more. A quick walk and you're at The Big Chill which features restaurants, boutique shops, and the Prominence Town Center event pavilion with weekly concerts and movie nights!

The neighborhood pool is also heated complimentary October/November, March/April and the two weeks around Christmas!

Other things to note

BEACH ACCESS:

There are several convenient beach accesses!

Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access point is located about 1 mile to the east - this is a small access and can be easily missed, but is probably our favorite!

Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.6 miles west. It is popular, but you should know: there is a small parking area at the access (approximately $3 for parking), bathrooms are available, the walk from parking to the beach is a little longer than most beach accesses. It is important to note that because this is a state park and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location.

Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is ADA approved and is located about 3.5 miles to the west. Parking and bathrooms are also available at this access.

-​​Pet friendly upon approval- small animals only. Please inquire for non-refundable pet fee based on breed and size. There is one medium sized dog kennel provided at the house for guest's use.
-Check in is 4:00 PM & check out is 10:00 AM. Late check out / early check in will be subject to another day's rental fees.
-Smoking is strictly prohibited.
-All renters must be over 25 years of age, or if under age 25 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
-LSV is not to be driven past the town of Rosemary Beach to the East or the town of WaterColor to the West. Resolving any issue from the LSV battery dying because of the renters not charging it will be charged to the renters. A full charge will last for 15 miles.
-Damage that occurs will be collected from the renters.
-Southern Holiday Homes can not be held liable for any damage or injury to any persons caused by LSV, pool, fire pit, bikes, or other amenities provided to guests.

Great place for a family and friends stay. Very clean, kitchen had everything we needed and more, two master baths were a big asset for a two family stay. Golf cart, bikes, beach chairs, tent, wagon, etc they provided. Will return!

The smaller pool near the home was temporarily closed for a short maintenance period to ensure guest safety and we did make sure to let you know, but the main pool remained fully open and available for use throughout your stay! Great spot for families

Two families came with a total of 7 children and 4 adults. There was more than enough space for us all and the house was spectacular. Would 10/10 recommend.

I have never left a bad review on a VBRO before, but have no choice on this one. There were SO many issues, and the management company was absolutely horrible! The listing itself is loaded with lies. The main reason that we reserved this house was because it was “steps from the beach”, which was a complete lie. They also show a fitness center, which did not exist. There are no gulf views as the listing shows. All lies! We did not get access to the house for almost 30 minutes after check in time. There was no map to show where to pools were, and we would have no idea to look across the street in another neighborhood for the large pool. The information book in the home was completely useless! The pool code was wrong. The next day, they sent us a second pool code, it was also wrong. The golf cart did not start and the instructions for “if the golf cart does not start”, were wrong. Why not just fix it? One of the bikes was broken. The trash day listing was wrong. It’s almost like whoever owns the home has no connection with the home or HOA. The dishwasher was filthy, the grill grate was covered in rust, three of the towel racks fell off the walls, one of the chairs on the front porch fell apart. The freezer door got jammed as the slider locked up. This was a complete disaster and we were just shocked at how poorly the management company maintained the home and their inept lack of care. I would never rent another home Southern Holiday Homes!

The home is located in Prominence, adjacent to The Big Chill, and the listing accurately reflects both the community location and beach access information provided prior to booking. During your stay, our team promptly provided additional maps, amenity information, updated access codes, maintenance assistance, and troubleshooting support for the items reported. We also offered a refund as a gesture of goodwill, which was declined in favor of requesting reimbursement for the entire stay. Since your visit, all maintenance items mentioned have been addressed, and subsequent guests have continued to enjoy wonderful stays at the property. We take pride in being responsive, transparent, and committed to providing a positive experience for our guests, and we encourage all future guests to carefully review listing details and amenity descriptions prior to booking to ensure the property is the right fit for their vacation needs.
