We spent most of our time outside. Beautiful setting on the deck by the creek was very peaceful. Cabin is very rustic. as in description . Would stay again to enjoy the outdoor space

We had a great stay! There were some minor cosmetic things we wish were a little different but for a last minute trip it was exactly what we were looking for. Major plus that it was pet friendly and the hot tub was great.

This place was exactly what we needed. Very peaceful right on the creek and had places to hike and walk the dog right from the house. The parkway has an entrance that’s very close too which made it nice for being able to take the scenic route to places and enjoy the beauty of the parkway. The host also was very responsive and went out of their way to get things right for us. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Cozy place however it was mice turds in the sink drawer kitchen!The house had a humidifier, running three window units at Max and House ! was still stuffy with a smell of mildew!Bathroom floor sinking.Small areas here and there they could use some attention, painting, touchups, etc.!No spatula on the Property had to use a hand tool or something in the sink!No soap provided!Body soapTrashcan located on Property had to haul our trash away!Doors only had one lock so to make sure the door is locked. You had to lock it from the outside check it didn’t close the door.Hot tub warmed up after we had to turn the temperature up!Couches, uncomfortable!Worn holes cushion smashed down the property could use some upgrades!Number one starting with the odor!Water was extremely dirty filter system not cleaning 100%Prefer to have half my money back considering the property condition, but is what it is!

Overall this rental is a mixed bag, it had exactly what I was looking for in a mountain getaway but the property needs serious maintenance and TLC. I’ll start with the arrival, pulling into the driveway, where you’ll scrape the underside of the car hard, because the driveway gravel doesn’t meet the road. The couches are sunken in and the cousins are torn. The bathrooms need serious updating the floor slants like a fun house as you enter, there’s spots that might only be held up by the linoleum. The roof leaks and we had to chase puddles with the few bath towels that were provided. Clearly the leak is not a new problem as the decorative molding in the dining room, bows down about 8 inches.We stayed for over a week and there’s no trash cans outside, we were told to keep garbage bags in the cabin until check out. LOLThere is no deck furniture to sit on while enjoying the creek, Just a table with 2 rusty folding chairs. The good, peaceful location, the king bed was ok, the stream flowing past the back deck was amazing, and the hot tub was clean.

Cottage was clean and the setting was wonderful. Unfortunately the washing machine overflowed and flooded the whole laundry room. We had to turn off the water to the whole house to get the water to stop. Eric was very responsive. He came immediately and got the water back on but the washing machine was out of order. Eric gave us the option to move to the Cozy Creek cottage which was almost next door. We moved and had a lovely evening. The Cozy Creek cottage was perfect!

Wonderful location, we loved exploring the trails. It’s definitely quite rustic, and could benefit greatly with an overall clean with general maintenance, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again. Excellent communication also - We accidentally left something behind and the host went above and beyond to help us.

Awesome cabin!

This place was amazing. Quaint and beautiful right on a mountain stream with all amenities you could need. We have found our go to place to stay whenever we visit Asheville.

A fun get away!

My husband and I stayed at Stoney Forks for his birthday and it was great! The hot tub, the swing, the river, walking in the woods, nearby hiking, and of course Asheville (specifically the River Arts District) were all highlights for us! Thanks for this great little spot in nature!

Cozy stay on the creek

The cabin was exactly as described and super clean. Contact with the hosts was answered promptly, and responses were friendly and very helpful. The cabin is definitely older, but it was so cozy. The beds slept great and the hot tub was incredibly relaxing with the creek in the background. We loved the stay and would highly recommend the cabin and its hosts.

Small issues that were resolved immediately. Can’t say enough positive about the owner. He definitely went above and beyond. Loved the cabin and location was wonderful literally steps from the large creek. Beds were comfortable but glad we brought pillows. The wife, dog and very much enjoyed it.
