A perfect location walkable to town but far enough away for complete peace and quiet. The space is clean and has everything you need for relaxing getaway. The big shower is great and the heated bathroom floors and towel rack were a great way to start the morning. Abbie is a super host and we enjoyed our four night stay very much.

Abbie was a great host! She and Brian were most welcoming, provided great dining tips and activities to consider. The apartment was perfect! Great week in Boothbay Harbor!

This was the perfect place to stay for my husband and I. We are active seniors in good health and had no trouble with navigating the flight of a dozen stairs up to this beautiful, private efficiency apartment. It is located in a separate addition to the hosts' home and had all the amenities we needed for our stay (full kitchen, comfortable pull-out couch for sleeping, spacious shower, heated towel rack, ceiling fan and AC, WiFi and TV, distant views of the harbor, etc.). We liked the location as we could easily navigate the short walk (about 10 minutes) to downtown Boothbay Harbor which is filled with many quaint shops, delicious restaurants, pretty waterfront views, and access to kayak rentals, sailboat cruises and whale watches. It is also a short drive to the nearby Botanical Gardens, Ocean Point walking trail, and the town of Southport. It was a pleasure to meet hosts Abbie and Brian. They were available on site if needed and were respectful of our privacy. Both the check-in and check-out processes were seamless. We are planning a return stay at "Hawk's Nest" apartment in the near future.

Perfect spot for a getaway vacation stay

Immaculate, private, lovingly decorated apartment, the Hawk’s Nest is a ‘find’! Great location to access Boothbay Harbor and Southport Island shops and restaurants. Hosts were so welcoming and offered lots of info on local sites and activities. We’ll definitely return!!

Beautiful Maine Get-away

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable and well-appointed place to stay in a great location, this is the place for you! The owners are lovely and informative. This was by far our best VRBO experience.

Magical Hawk's Nest

We had a wonderful stay at Hawk's Nest! The apartment is really nicely done with beautiful craftsmanship and a magical garden. The mattress was a little firmer than we'd like, but we still slept like logs after long days full of adventures around Boothbay.

Plan to return

Hawk's Nest is awesome. It is everything as described and more. We couldn't have had a better five days. Abby and Brian were great hosts. We were sad to leave and hope to return next summer.

Perfect!

Adorable and comfortable cottage. So close to everything! Walk into the heart of Boothbay. View of the water….it feels like you are in a treehouse! Abbie (host and owner) and her husband are so nice and helpful with suggestions of everything! Can’t say enough nice things about our stay!

Abbie met us at the road to tell us where our parking spot was, there is no on the road parking. She met us with a friendly greeting and showed us to the 2nd floor studio and also assisted us with our luggage. The studio was very clean and comfortable. The two window groupings and skylights were very nicely done and accented the studio apartment. Everything was well thought out, and construction was beautifully organized and done. Everything was very classy.Abbie was extremely helpful with suggestions of activities to do and places to see along with parking possibilities. Her information book in the room was very helpful and well done. The Botanical gardens are a must see. The Carousel Theater if a show is available, Cap's Fishes Harbor cruise.We had a view of Mill Cove which has a sunken ship that you can see at low tide from your window. Abbie has lovely gardens and added special touches, fresh flowers in the room and always a friendly greeting when we returned from our day's activities. She encouraged us to explore in the area and made us feel very welcome. A very nice feature was the heated towel rack. Abbie is a great host who made us feel very welcome. We were just down the street from the harbor shops and restaurants which offered wide assortment of sea food choices and shopping possibilities. We were also there when the farm markets was open and that was very nice. Abbie is a super host and we recommend Hawks Nest for your stay at Booth Bay Harbor in Maine.

Lovely spot in Boothbay Harbor

Abby and Brian’s place in Boothbay Harbor is just perfect - super location and very walkable. Comfortable and extra clean - it is even better than the pictures. The hosts have a beautiful yard and garden area and are quite welcoming with excellent recommendations for favorite activities and restaurants. 100% will stay here again when I return. Boothbay Harbor is charming and this is the perfect spot!
